This is a nice little place to hang out, hike around and take pictures. I have gone fishing there in the past, but never caught anything. The scenery is beautiful. The hiking trail would be nice if it weren't for the graffiti all over rocks and trees. It looked like a post-apocalyptic movie scene. It could be a nicer, cleaner place.

Haven't been out here in years was raised coming to Lost Lake is changed a lot it's really sad that all this place is his chain so much . I Miss the restaurant and that little store that used to be out at the front of it back when I was growing up.. it's back to being clean like it used to be when I was growing up back in the 80s. The bathrooms could use some cleaning, no T.P. But at least they weren't flooded like the last time i was there. We got visited by a whole flock of ducks it was really cute we were there for a couple days I have had a really nice time we had our picnic and we have time together and we enjoyed it.

Beautiful, peaceful park right by the river. They have clean shaded picnic areas, some with grills. Some folks were fishing, others swimming and most were just relaxing in the shade. Let on leash are welcomed. There is a 5 dollar parking fee. We had a wonderful picnic with my kiddos.

Really nice park to just go and chill. I've gone there to fish, with no luck. There's lots of picnic tables along the river and they have a designated camp site area. There is a day use fee which I think is $5.00. The entry booth is often unoccupied so you need to put your money in an envelope and keep the receipt with you in the event the ranger comes around to check. Probably the similar with camping but not sure the fees. I often see folks there fishing and have tried it there a couple of times myself - but never had any luck. I just go out there to relax, and usually find some nice photo ops.

Arrived late in the evening. Place was quiet. The park itself is clean and well maintained. Lake is clean with clear water. Kudos to Pam, the caretaker, for a job well done. Definitely recommend for a day trip (picnic/fishing), or camping.

If your looking to just get away and clear your head camping this might work for you as it does for me. It’s close and reasonably priced. Campgrounds have been remodeled and are clean.

I love this park for long peaceful walks alone or with company and pets. Its easy to get there. Access is great. Plenty of parking space. Not crowded. Garbage cans everywhere. Restrooms available. My recommendation to visitors is pick up after their pets.

Lost Lake is a quiet, comfortable recreation area. There are plenty of spaces to barbecue, good parking in most areas and foot access to the river at many places. We have taken a 31-foot RV to the park and could easily park along the water in several places. The restrooms are about what you would expect to find in a public park. (Can be nasty during busy times) There are several and many (most) are wheelchair accessible. I like this park because it's far enough away to be quiet and close enough to reach with a short drive.

Great camping experience. Well kept restrooms. Friendly and hard working park staff. They circle the campsites frequently. We will be camping here again and again. Let's help keep our parks clean for generations to come.

We like lost lake park a lot. My kids always have fun in the water, even though it's freezing, and they like playing on the rocks down the trail where the Native American grinding stones are. You can tell the trail got really washed out when the river flooded. The water lines are up so high! It is clean enough to walk around. Just be careful on the uneven parts of the trail.

Early bird gets the worm! Get there early for a good spot! The current of the river is super slow and it’ll take you at least 2 hours to get to the mini rapids. The deepest parts are probably 20ft and up to shin deep waters!

Had a good couple of hours out walking my dog and watching all of the animals in the park. It's only 5 bucks to get in.

We come here on days when the park is not so crowded. Like today, it's raining so we brought our RV and parked in our favorite spot and had lunch and just rested from the hectic week. Beautiful and only a few minutes from busy Fresno.

Chill county park I've heard of been never been to. They have picnic spots with benches and BBQ along the San Joaquin River. My 10 yr old son loved it. It was labor day weekend so it was a little crowded but not bad at all.
