Was going through some family trauma and decided a night here away from it would be good for my mental health. One whole week later and they only just allow for my release after threatening daily if I didn't engage in basketball, watching TV, etc, with the others I would be sent to San Diego w/o any input from me or my family. The psych evaluator was invalidating and barely listened, then didn't show on the days he was suppose to clear me to leave. I felt like a prisoner. I had to fake smile my way out of there. It was safer out of exodus than in it. OH. OHMYGODS. and nurses drew my blood in the middle of the night telling me it would get me out sooner. They jabbed me 3 times before the nurse gave up and said to leave. I completely fainted on the tile walking out and when I came to the two nurses were laughing at me. Laughing. Please don't send your children or loved ones here. I left with more trauma than I arrived with.

Please share my public post on my Facebook about this place. Our children need to be protected but this place is far from that... My daughter was laughed at by the doctors and treated like a criminal. Children were not allowed to communicate with each other without being yelled at and TV rights were non existent. I have a formal compliant against staff and doctors. The head of social workers told me herself that she would admit my daughter because it was obvious she needed help but was sent away. Never again will I trust Fresno county with the safety of my child. CMRC is the best route to go parents protect your children at all costs

I stayed last night and made sure I made it out today. The nurses were rude to everyone had horrible attitudes and didn’t even try to help. All the did was stand around and talk about the patient. The health care worker said “isnt this an eye opener people have it worse than you” I definitely didn’t get the help I needed or thought I’d get. Disgusting place.

i stayed there overnight and it was pretty chill. some of the staff were passive aggressive and the place seemed a bit run down. kinda dirty too. there was a left container of pee in the bathroom when I was checking in. i remember thinking it was the wrong place because of how sketchy it looked. the food looked like school lunches (i didn’t eat so I can’t say if it was good or not). the provider or person who evaluated me (idk the term) invalidated my trauma so that was lovely to experience in a professional setting. the recliners were comfy. probably the best part of my experience lol. not much to do besides stare at the ceiling and wait for the tv be turned on. I’m glad that my 12 hours were rather tame now that I read the reviews. the highlight of my time there being that some of the staff were really sweet to me. i feel like more could be explained to newcomers because I just had to figure some things out on my own. overall mid; probably would go back

Lupe at the front desk was very rude. They do not take you serious here. She called me a scammer and that I was pretending to be someone else when I was just trying to get information on my little sister. The first times she hung up without letting me know anything, then they didn’t start answering my calls until I called a fourth time, and she finally gave me that reason. She had my name and number. This all occurred in less then 10 minutes

Worst first time experience ever! The security in the evening shift today was extremely unprofessional and rude! I was outraged by his ignorance and mannerisms! They need to be educated on mental illness if they want to work in facilities that are dealt with challenging patients. I’m apart of the Behavioral Health Board here in Fresno, and as my first time entering this location, I was livid by the security behavior. I’ll definitely bring this attention up to the Behavioral Health board to see what we can do about this secruity behavior specifically. Also reading all these reviews seems to match up with the staffing’s ability to care for our unfortunate community. Extremely disappointed!

My female friend was admitted recently. She was scared after reading the reviews. She said it wasn't clean. Her mother said the staff was rude. I understand it's hard to have cleaners around suicidal people. I understand that you don't want parents and people disturbing patients more. She was forced to get naked (with men nearby probably security) (change into scrubs) to check for signs of self harm and to make sure she wasn't smuggling stuff in and I understand that but she is a sexual abuse survivor. She was touched inappropriately by doctors in the past and I hope this won't scar her further. I get why it's done and appreciate that they kept her safe when she was in a bad state. Thank you.

My son has been here, they kept him for 2 days then transfered him to SJBH. I was able to get information because he knows to fill out a ROI,like all psych they are strict on who they give information to and will not confirm anything without it. He has been here numerous times; usually 3 day hold or transfered on 2nd /3rd day. He says it's a holding space, and he will go . Neither of us like Community. Staff may be curt at times, but since he always has an roi in place from arrival, they try to get someone to talk to me.
