Restaurant Fast food restaurant Mexican restaurant

👍👍 Love the ambiance. It’s a Tortillería and they sell food there. I had the Carnitas Tacos. I ordered three but I was only able to finish 2 because they do put a lot of meat in them. They were good. I do recommend this place. People often mention good, guacamole, wanted, refund, care,

I like the prices. The buche I bought was so delicious. The carnitas were flavorless and too greasy. The guacamole is so good. The service is great the only problem is the radio and the fans all together are just way too load. It was so hard to hear them. You practically have to yell to answer or ask a question. But again it's affordable and fresh.

It's a good place to get a bundle meal (they have three varieties). Grab a lemon and drop your tailgate and you're set already with a Mexican coke that is always on ice.

Recommended by a friend, I stopped by today. There was not much parking and a line as I walked in. I was intrigued by the noises of the tortilla machine and the great smell of food. The counter had plenty of food and you can see all the different food offering. Prices seem reasonable: I bought the number 2 and raced home to share with my son. It was awesome! Chicken was moist and hot... so were the rice, beans and the great corn tortillas. The salsa was too hot but good.

My story: We bought a lot of food from this place recently. Food was good, but the pint of guacamole had many tree end pebbles (not the seed). It’s the end pebble that avocados have at the end, it’s the stem. Each time I took a chip with this guacamole 🥑 I felt this pebble, but didn’t injured me. The first pebble, I saw it and tossed it. The second one, same. On the third pebble, in the guacamole, I took a good scoop of it and once I took a bite… ouch 🤕 !, I inured my tooth. I felt the nerve pain to my head and my eye started to cry 😢. Others also had these pebbles in their scoops of guacamole. So, I called the restaurant and spoke to Maria, the manager, She wasn’t concern about me at all. She was only concern about the restaurant’s reputation and not an ounce of my injury. She wanted to “compensate” me with another guacamole. At first, I wanted to just warn them so it won’t happen to others. Again, she kept saying it won’t happen to others because they’ve never had anything like this happened to them. So, since her attitude was concerning the reputation of the restaurant and not me, I told her that I wanted a full refund of my purchase price. She tried to argue with me, but said ok, bring your receipt with the avocado pebbles. I sent my brother with it and when he arrived Maria argued with him and wanted to only refund the 🥑 guacamole. She made it seemed like we wanted a free meal. After my brother told her “look, my sister is in pain and because y’all didn’t care to remove that tough stone like pebbles (the stem) that all avocados have, now she’s has an injury and has to go to the dentist. She reluctantly refund us and kept our receipt. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go, otherwise I would of told them at that point that I’m going to sue them for injury suffering and tooth repairs. I was trying to first let them know my experience so others don’t get injured, like me, but now I’m upset with the way this so called manager handled the situation. I’m upset she kept my receipt. Honestly, I should have just sued them for my injury, but no, like always, I was trying to be nice and just like them know. At first, I didn’t even want a refund. But as I kept noticing that “Maria” only cared of the reputation of El Torró” it’s when I said I want a full refund. Even though their food is good, they honestly don’t care about their customers or if someone gets injured, like my experience, and only care about their reputation. I will never eat there again. Too bad I no longer have my receipt because I’m so upset that I would sue them. I’m still gonna contact an attorney and see what I can do. I have family testimonies and neighbors who witnessed it all. They are all upset. Remember, the manger’s name is Maria. Please be careful eating at this place, even if the food is good . Look what happened to me. Maria will reap what she sows.I’ll update my review once I speak to an attorney and see a dentist. People are lovers of money, just like this restaurant, rather than humans. What a shame! It’s the principle to me that matters. I can care less for money, thus, at first I only wanted to warn them, but their ugly attitude is what caused me to say “okay, you don’t care about what happened to me?, ok, now I want a refund.” And now because they still wanted to be right and not give me at least a full refund for my pain and suffering… I’m simply gonna pay to talk to an attorney about getting compensated for my suffering and injury. I don’t care if I have to pay to make a point.” Sorry, but I’m hurting and upset. Now, I have to sit here and hurt with a damaged tooth nerve and crack all weekend until Tuesday, when I can see a dentist.” I’m also planning on filing an official complaint at City of Fresno, business licensing, AND other licensing bureaus.

Went looking for tamales and found gold! Best chicken, rice, and beans too. So flavorful! And the red salsa - yum!!!! I could guzzle that stuff. I’ll definitely be back. A lot.
