When we got there we got seated quickly. The food was very good. My 2 little girls (6&7)don't eat anyone's rice anywhere. Only mine! They cleaned the plate. That's how you know it's good when the little ones clean their plates.

We love this restaurant been coming here for years. My favorite combo is the #9 the hot sauce is 🔥.Prices are the best in town. Be sure to sign in. Food is great! Best crispy Taco shells in Fresno! They should sell there hot sauce in bottles to go! Lots of families eat here.

The food was one of the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant!!!! And I'm not exaggerating. I found out about this spot from a local at the Veterans parade in Fresno.. I was asking around to see where the spots were in Fresno. Rebecca from Fresno at first was hesitant, then I chopped it up with her for awhile, then she said, " my go to spot is Country Fare. ".. I asked her what kind of food the restaurant was. She said Mexican, then she showed me pictures. I went with my wife and kids, and it was in the heart of the barrio and it was packed! We got sat down right away and started with chips, salsa, and guacamole. Customer service is top notch, and the establishment is very friendly. The totopos, salsa, and guacamole were fresh. The totopos were 🔥. My kids ordered combination plates, my wife had the lengua plate mixed with bellpeppers onions and tomato, and the chile colorado plate was so tender, and flavorful, the kicker was the homemade flour tortillas that are very tasty I think estilo Sonora. I have never found a Mexican restaurant where everything tasted great, and I think I found it in this hidden gem for me but not for the locals, which is a staple for Fresno, Califas. You lucky people!!!! And to my homegirl Rebecca from Fresno, whom I barely met yesterday with her mom and her grand daughter at the Veterans parade. See you at the Christmas parade for those homemade burritos!!! I'll be waiting!!!! The pricing is legit and welcoming for all!! Can't say that for a lot of taqueria and restaurants.

Best customer service! Food was delicious. The inside dining was comfy. Although my order was takeout, the food was packed uniformly, and was easy to disassemble when I got home. This is a family run restaurant and is now my new favorite!

Went for the hype but left the food almost completely half done. Try adding salt and black pepper but still no flavor. Everything had no flavor or good taste. Beans was cold too so wth, some potatoes were still tough but also no flavor. Only thing I liked was the coffee. Other than that, I'm not coming back. Waste of good money. Adding more, they only take cash, the ATM machine charges $1.50 to take out money but when I looked into my account. I got charged $3.50 for using the ATM as a separate charge. So realistically, I was charged $5 just to take out money. Meal was $28 plus the $5. $33 for breakfast that wasn't even good. Me and my girlfriend won't be coming back anymore definitely.

OMG, make you wanna, "slap, yo mama"!! It's so good! 😂🤓😎. But, in all seriousness. I've been coming here, since I was a kid (possibly, while in the womb). The food is great every time, temperature is always on point & that unbeatable price. They're so fair, in the amount of food you get & the overall quality. Definitely a budget family friendly type of place. That DOES NOT, skip on quality, because of the price(s). Mexican food? Eat HERE & I promise! You won't regret coming!

We've been coming here for over 15 years and we have never had a bad meal or bad experience. The food is delicious and always consistent and portions are large for a great price! And the staff is always friendly and helpful. Keep in mind it is cash only.

Made it just in time! Before the line was formed around the building. Always great food and quick service. The place was packed as always with the loud busy buzz of diners talking at once. Great place to meet up for coffee too. Parking is the pits 😡 but then you have the whole street to park 😆

It was ok. It is reasonable and you get served quickly, but it is a loud place, acoustically. The staff is busy but friendly. I feel like the food used to be better but it was still good and I would eat there again. 😋

I have been here two times and the service is excellent the food is exquisite just like Mom used to make I love their Taco plate I highly recommend that combination our server was very friendly and attentive the tortillas are to-die-for they are huge and what a tortilla is supposed to be like other restaurants should learn from this

They truly have the best Chile colorado I’ve ever had. Their sauce they put with the tamales is to die for as we’ll absolutely exquisite. Their food is beyond amazing and they never disappoint. Their tortillas are very huge and everything down from the coffee to the beans if worth every penny❤️

I ordered four burritos for me and my family. All four were burned. I called them and spoke with the manager. He was incredibly rude and dismissive.

I love going back " home" to the east side of Fresno. The restaurant atmosphere is surrounded with culture and friendly people. The restaurant serves the same tasty food I remember eating with grandma after chruch on Sunday. Love this place. Food is always timely and hot. Best part is not having to break the bank to eat out!

Very good prices, I orderded 3 pirce combo, enchilada, tamal and taco, food is decent "chicana" food, they didn't have the advertised albondigas when I went. Horchata no good don't order it.

My wife would come out of her grave if she seen what they tried to pass off as guacamole when avocados are bad they have that taste you don’t use them anyway cause that’s all you have and that was the taste that I experience on my last and final visit to the cafe They did not care that I did not eat my guacamole. They still wanted full price on everything and I have been For the longest time I used to live over on Thomas so for anyone that goes there. Hopefully you have better service and time and food than I did other than that it’s always been a good place, but could not believe that they thought I was trying to get over, I did not eat the guacamole there’s a difference if you look on my plate you would see it was still there in my opinion it wasn’t palatable for me. I’m not sure all that matters is what the customer feels is right so last time there people bye.

Hey so I didn't know this place was here, but many people do know because it was busy. I was so surprised by how diverse the customers that filled the diner. Friendly attentive staff. With good food.

The service has always marginal in my experience. Today was just a bit too much. I understand this is a small cafe which “caters to its neighborhood cash clientele”, however, today it was beyond tolerable. I won’t be spending any of my “cash” there again.

This little hole in the wall IS thee place to actually have authentic mexican food!! There's a little wait but I recommend the wait is beyond worth it you will not be disappointed. I has combo 1 taco shell didn't break enchilada was perfect tamale was not dried and not over wet perfect!!

We arrived at 1p.m. on a Saturday and they were very busy. Granted, there are only about ten tables with no outdoor space at all. Folks were standing all around the dining room waiting to be seated. That being said, the service was quick and excellent. I ordered a chorizo burrito. It was alright and of decent size. My gf ordered a taco/enchilada combo plate. And, everything on the plate was yummy. The reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5; it's a cash only business. Which I did not know before ordering. Thay do have an ATM. But, that's just not most folks roll in 2022.

I usually go early in the morning if I can. It gets packed cause the food is really good. The waitresses are very nice & friendly. I went on Tuesday cause it was Cocido Day ? It was 😋 YUMMY ! I ❤️ the Chile rellenos cause they take the seeds out. Thier salsa is good too !They give generous amounts of food on the plate & the prices are reasonable...I just ❤️ it here !!! What else can I say !?!

This place is CASH only, but they do have an ATM (with a fee). The server didn't tell me is cash only, but they claimed it is posted at the entrance and on the menu, but I didn't see either one. The food was decent. The server OK, but the neighborhood is not the best and the place is a little dated. I ended up going to this place after checking google reviews.

We went here because of recommendations from friends and we’re not disappointed. We both had a three item combination plate and my shredded beef taco and shredded beef enchiladas were awesome. My wife’s tamale was also one of the best she ever had eaten.

Not what I quoted expected from daily wrong. This place is recommended by a loca News station. First of all. The location is in a sketchy area. The dinning area was limited seating. You have to check in. Not much for the selection of meals. Pretty much a Mexican restaurant. Don't let the name fool you. Country Fair.

Server was nice. Cash only payment was an inconvenience but they do have an atm inside restaurant charge approx $1,50 to make a withdrawal. Food was good i had enchilada n taco dinner plate. Meat was bland but sauce was good.

Usually this place is friendly great the BEST!!! However, April 6 about 2:33 PM two ladies at the counter I am interested in having a “private drama” conversation as I stood there on in acknowledge and listen. Then getting the food out from the kitchen. With no mask on their faces because it was riding their chin and neck. Then all the food receive a “spit full” of drama service. To management please train the cooks and the waitresses not to continuously speak over the food that’s a health hazard no one spits wanna talk I don’t want there’s food in my tacos or enchiladas. Also should understand the professionalism is to address a customer with a hello even if you cannot get to them right away it’s just courtesy. I will not let these two employees allow me not to revisit the restaurant however if I continue to see this type of behavior I will in fact spread the news AGAIN AND not to come here….
