The food is ok the service is slow they're short staffed. The big downfall is they raised the prices in everything significantly so I'll probably not be coming back again do to the price for wings. You can go to a sit down restaurant and get the same amount of wings for cheaper probably.

I heard good reviews about it from my niece who frequents the downtown location, I was not impressed. Got a number 2 I think, and mannn was it bland! The sauce (garlic something) didnt really help, was super salty, chicken very bland. The only thing good were the fries in my opinion. My niece even said the downtown location tastes better so maybe well have to try there next time.

I am or should I say “was” a big fan of Chicken Shack. My husband and I ate at the North Fresno location tonight. We arrived at 8:20 pm and ordered our meals. They delivered them to our table at 8:45 with a disclaimer they will be closing in 15 minutes and we would need to be out. While us and another table tried to eat in a quick manner, the staff was mopping around us. They shut off the soda and ice tea machine, so we could not get a refill. They were not friendly at ALL, and I wish I had not tipped the person who took our order. In addition one of the staff members who took our order, was not dressed appropriately. She had on really short shorts and crocs. They just starred at us as we left at 9:03. Won’t be returning and especially now that Cane’s is in town…they will be getting my business and my recommendations.

This place was excellent! The staff were very friendly, the tables and bathrooms were clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food? Simply delicious. I got the #4, three fingers and three wings, and it came out to 11 and change after tax. The chicken was crisp and juicy without being too greasy, the hot sauce had good heat and lots of flavor, and the fries (which the combo came with plenty of, way more than I expected) were quite great. Salty and crispy, most places don't do shoestring fries this well from my experience. I was very satisfied for the price I paid. If I had to levy some constructive criticism, the radio was a tad loud and the new location could use some more signage, but other than that this is a quality local business that I would like to visit again. I wholly recommend it.

Horrible service very unprofessional. The supervisor with the curly hair makes the orders wrong and when other employees tell her it's wrong she acknowledges it then laughs about it and still doesn't remake the item.. This location needs to get better employees.

I just loved this place! I Ordered the Lemon Chicken w/ Chile Limon Sauce! 1st time here but when I go back to Fresno will definitely be coming back, here! I even took some, omw home on the AMTRAK!! Where the food was not bad the service here on Blackstone was very slow. As in we waited over 30 minutes for the first chicken wrap and 40 minutes for the 2nd one. There was only one order "2 people" ahead of us and us 2. If you have time to kill this is the place to do it.

My son and I thought to give Chicken Shack another try for the buffalo fries. This round they didn't disappoint. They have changed the way they prepare the fries and they have a nice crunch now that matches the crunch in the Buffalo chicken pieces. We always ask for extra sauce both Buffalo and ranch but I guess that's a bit of a task due to the way the fries are piled in. Nonetheless they gave me the good old taste that made the Buffalo fries the only thing I order when I visit. They offer Pepsi products which is also nice. They are in the shopping center next door to Red Robin and Game Stop across the building where Panda Express is. I hope that helps. If you blink you'd miss it.

I'm not a huge chicken sandwich type of person, but I do enjoy wings and nuggets on occasion. Today I went to chicken shack as an alternative to take 3 (which was closed). I've read the reviews and always come into a spot unbiased. The customer service was great in my honest opinion. Being lunchtime and all. The sauces were pretty good. I got the nashville hot, mango habanero, chipotle bbq and ranch. The chipotle was my least favorite. The burger was decent, but who orders a burger at a chicken place. I ordered the chicken bites (#5 order), they were decent too. It was real chicken and not to much breading. I personally like extra breading and a crisp to my chicken. The fries were ok as well. I gave this spot 3 stars for the chicken not being as crispy as it looks in the reviews and also the fries were just ok. Not my cup of tea.

Great food especially for something quick. The buffalo chicken fries is my favorite. They recently switched the kind of fries they use so now it’s even better😃 BTW: if you can’t handle much spice switch out the buffalo sauce for more ranch.

Food was good, service was mediocre, a place I would eventually go back to but not in a hurry. The chicken is nice the different sauces are good, the fries are really good!

I got a chicken wrap and I feel like it needed sauce or something. It was very dry and the chicken seemed like old cut up chicken from a while ago. I almost choked on some of the little chicken pieces. The Buffalo chicken fries were delicious though! By far my favorite. Our service was excellent and the girl working was very nice.

I ordered online. 5 pc with garlic fries and a small fry on the side. Brought it home only to find out, I received a 3 pc with garlic fries and a large fry. Overlooked the mistake Since I received a large fry instead. Took a bite only to receive dry over cooked chicken that’s been sitting on the warmer. Would rather grab raising canes chicken and use CS’s seasoning. Lately, their chickens been extremely dry.

This is the nastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life! It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Forget the fact that the sauces have no flavor, the chicken itself isn’t even seasoned. It just tastes like chewy meat. Such a disappointment. The garlic fries were disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money here.

It's a shame they can't get your order right. Needs better management. I think they write up 'tossed' in upper case letters and with exclamation marks since the workers mess up pretty often.

I really enjoyed their french fries the chicken sandwich was another story. i went with my roommate and we both agreed that the chicken was to plane and dry. Ill have to give it another try at one of their other locations in Fresno to compare them. The wait time was decent and the prices where reasonable.
