After 20 years I went back to see the candlelight Halloween event. The place has changed a bit. However the tour guy did not have information of historical events

I'll do this kind of tours. The docents are very knowledgeable and the house has been nicely restore and is well kept. Not every furniture or item is original from the house but it's from that time line and it adds to your imagination while they are telling you the story of the family that lived there. I went on a Sunday and it was just me and another person in the tour. No need to call to reserve beforehand unless you have a larger group. Parking available. Cost it's 10$ per person. You can take pictures but they ask to keep at one per room.

Haven't been here in over 20 yrs. A beautiful home and friendly hosts. Tobin gave us a detailed and very enjoyable tour. We will be back for sure for the holidays and are taking her advice on some great shows to watch from this era. Thanks again Tobin, we had a lot of fun!

No pictures, since they’re not allowed indoors. Visited with my daughter and 12-year-old grandson. We all loved it! The tour was great, really making the house and it’s inhabitants come alive for us. Definitely recommend this tour!

I went for the "mourning candlelit tour" and absolutely LOVED IT!!!! The whole house is fascinating but seeing it after a "death" was so interesting. I can't wait to do a tour during the day!

Really loved the Meux Home Museum!! Extremely well preserved and presented. Each room was a ton of variety, tons of interesting items and clothing and history. Both guides (bottom and top floors) were informative and nice, and everyone was really enthused. I must say that the main guy - not a tour guide but the guy who seemed like he was in charge at the front desk - was very off-putting, that would be my one minor irk, but luckily he wasn't the guide. We got to learn about the family, walk around the outside, and see everything - even learned about the old trolley system, I wish that still existed. I actually grew up in a house like this so in some ways it was almost like returning to my childhood memories. Great historical house!

We had a lovely hostess for our tour guide. She was very nice and informative. She also was very patient in answering all the kid's questions. Would definitely do this tour again.

Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalaki n Jensen Ackles) did an episode of the Meux Home on Supernatural. I got to hang with them. Took them to Reedley Beach, Kelly's Beach, Pioneer Village (Selma,CA),Pacheco Pass, Winchester Mystery House, The Mystery Spot, Casa De Fruita(House of Fruit) and Forrestier Underground Garden. So if you see an episode that in the end credits that states We like to thank the Guy. The Guy is me.

Amazing tour, beautiful house, and knowledgeable docents. We visited from out of town, and we're already talking about coming back just for one of the tea ceremonies held on the grounds. Simply lovely!

I've lived in Fresno/Clovis almost my entire life, I was born here, raised here, spent 40 of my 42 years here and last night was my very first tour through the Meux Home Museum. We did a night tour which was awesome and a little spooky. All of the docents were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every last minute detail of the house. Stepping through the threshold was like walking into a time capsule, they did such an amazing job restoring the house to its former glory. We will definitely be back for a day time tour soon! I highly recommend it to one and all if you want to take a trip back in time and experience some extremely rich Fresno history.

Absolutely loved this place! I appreciated how warm and welcoming the guides were and talked me through the history of the house and shed light on the victorian era. Probably one of my best house tours ever!

Such a beautiful house with lots of history. The guides are knowledgable and fun. There is a lot of miscellaneous house products from really early 1900s which are fun to see. The parking is horrible around the building so be ready to walk a block

Great place to visit if you like to learn about the past. It's not haunted.
