First time coming here since I visited and it was good. I ordered the New York Steak and Shrimp and two tail lobster. It was good! Our cook was great as well. Great experience! Definitely recommend!

This place is always amazing and that's why I keep coming back. Their sushi is fresh and flavorful and their drinks are creative and strong! Worth the price. I've never gotten teppanyaki while eating in but I got it to go once and it was great. They were also very quick to make it.

It’s always an eventful time at Hino Oishi. The teppanyaki shows are fun. Teppanyaki is a unique and satisfying treat to enjoy once in a while. The flavors are addicting and mouth watering. Try to reserve if possible. It’s a hit and miss with the wait times. If the wait time is long we tend to go to the bar and have a few cocktails to pass the time.

Had an amazing time here! Food and atmosphere were eccentric. Chefs cooking on the grill were fun and amazing! Would definitely come back. Price was fair.

Despite the beautiful atmosphere and nice customer staff, Food was a complete disappointment! They serve a huge selection of Sushi/Japanese dishes. We got to try 2 common sushi items (Rainbow and Dynamite) along with a noodle seafood dish. I really regret to say this was an All you can eat food horrible quality and totally not a modern classier Japanese food quality this place is trying to portray. Small sushi items with no value; To be fair tho, Sushi was not horrible taste wise but just didn't taste anything yummy or Wow in anyway. Noodles tasted exactly like a cheap 75c noodles No exaggeration, lots of veggies and few seafood pieces you can count on that normal looking dish of noodle we were so eager to try! So come over here for the atmosphere but don't have much hopes for a great food experience!

I want to start that this is my favorite place for sushi. They have interesting mixture of really good rolls and really perplexing rolls. I had their teppanyaki before and the one time I tried, I remember thinking from rice to meat it was salty and since then I’ve only ever gone back for sushi. We typically ordered our favorite rolls and picked one or two other rolls to try. This time we picked three new rolls and it reads like it could be interesting and we were wrong. Bad idea— Atlantic Naruto (all that cucumber) Indi 500 (it was plain) Ika Mika (the orange chicken topping was so sweet and overwhelming) These three took away from my usually favorites.

The freshest fruit cocktails!!! Yummy veggie sushi, edamame and delectable filet and chicken!!! Filet was like butter! Leave off the teriyaki sauce and taste the great beef flavor! 🤤 Had too much, took a huge box home. Love leftover. Natural meal prepping. 🤤

The best Japanese restaurant I tried in California. Affordable price, surprising Goff quality! Thick cut sashimi salmon is so good. Rools are fresh and tasty. The waitress is also warm and cute. I am planning the second visit here in oct !

Ok Hino Oishi I see you! Officially my new fav Japanese restaurant, today convinced me. They stole me away from the one up the street. The teppanyaki side is ok but the dine in side is sooo fire. I ordered off the teppanyaki menu, steak, chicken; extra soup (ordered miso), salad and rice for $15 cause my husband and I shared. The salad dressing is delicious not gonna lie i could drink it. The tempura shrimp and veggies so crisp light and airy 🤤. Meat so tender chicken is my husbands all time fav, rice seasoned perfectly. Ordered hot mess sushi roll fried perfectly. OMG i swear everything was delicious.

First time at this restaurant. My friend likes their Curry. I thought it was good for curry, but I'm not a curry person. The texture of the vegetables was bomb though. They give you so much vegetables for like three people. The bowl of rice is portioned for 1.5 people at best. I enjoyed my sushi. I wanted a caterpillar but they don't make theirs with tempura shrimp so I ordered the next best thing. The potato sushi was fire. Never had tempura sweet potato sushi roll before. The service was slightly underwhelming.

Went right at 4:30pm before everything got busy. The fact there was a line at that time outside, chances are this place is that good. Very good atmosphere, service was attentive. Had the Lobster ceviche with a sashimi combo. Lobster was presented nicely and tasted excellent. Sashimi was brought out in typical boat, but I loved that there was less daikon and the fish sat on perilla leaves. Normally, I do eat the daikon as I go to balance out the fishy taste. But the perilla leaves were an amazing touch and tasted great with the sashimi, so for those who can't take the fishy flavor, please try it. I would have liked a side of these leaves as an option. Definitely left a good impression on my first visit. Will travel to visit again.

Recommend this Japanese restaurant! Server Sara was so amazing and made my mom’s birthday extra special with her sense of humor as well her professionalism. Sushi option is out of this world. Mamba chilies strings was so good. I love that you can have hibachi in the dine in area oh and that geisha martini was also so good. My family thank you for such a fantastic evening!

I ordered a few rolls to go, and I’m really glad that I ordered more than I thought I would eat because the rolls are SMALL. You can tell from the photo how small they are in comparison to my hand. They’re still $18-19 each, so prepare for a potentially pricey dinner. I also had a little trouble ordering rolls that I thought I would like because almost *all* of the rolls on the menu are spicy (I don’t do spicy well). That being said, the fish was extremely fresh, and everything tasted great! It was extremely flavorful. I had the Lemon Drop (which was amazing), the Three of a Kind (good but I probably wouldn’t get it again), and a hand roll. I could probably eat a 4th roll even after all of that, and I’m usually good with only one large roll at my local sushi restaurant. Overall, I would recommend it! Just be prepared to spend $50+ per person if you want sushi/rolls only.

Service was excellent and attentive. I got the spicy tuna sushi and nigiri plate and they were alright. It did not hit the spot. Def recommend to get teppanyaki instead. Friend got the seafood fried rice and she liked that.
