It was nice, except the trash, including beer cans, diapers, and tissue, and homeless people. Nice little place to fish. But I think next time I'll bring a bag and gloves to clean up. I just can't stand looking at trash that uncaring people leave behind.

I live in the neighborhood and have been going down here for years. It's a great spot to get your daily dose of nature and to just enjoy the outdoors. Although, since this place has recently gained popularity, more trash is found EVERYWHERE. Too many people litter and leave their old stuff. If you do come here, expect to see it and TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU.

Came here with the family, the kids loved it. I thought it was cool. There really isn’t any proper trail but it’s cool to just explore and get a little walk in. San Joaquin River is pretty cool. Check it out.

Nice little trail down by the river. You can climb up to the train tracks and watch the sunset from there. It’s pretty nice.

Nice lil river to walk or swim during summer. Fishing is not so great. Only caught pan fish and and 1 bass but leave empty handed a whole lot.

Overall a cool place. Just wish there wasn't so much broken glass around, as I have a 3 year old. We did have fun watching the sunset and throwing rocks in the water. It is very easily accessable and there is a cool trail that leads to it from around Herndon and Polk area. I actually think it's supposed to be for foot traffic, but my kids and I rode our bikes.

Kids had a blast water was lil cold but bearable enough..

Other than the rare occasional homeless person walking around it's a safe and decent place to hang out and walk your dog.

This is one of my favorite places to visit and watch the sunset. I enjoy walking across the bridge and seeing the beautiful view of the river. It's also a nice hike down to the river on the Madera side

Very scenic private road along the top of River canyon. Filthy from all the loitering. It's a great spot to get away and clear my thoughts and if your licensed you can walk down under along train tracks and do some fishing.

Very calm place to swim at when the water is low. The waters not too cold. The guys catches crayfish there. And I like to eat the little clams there too. Takes a while to collect enough to eat but it's something to do there.

Video recorded when you go down there listen to it later on and see if you hear what you see on your video very weird but I wouldn't stay there if you do pick up after yourselves cuz you know don't go after dark unless cuz I need to know who's going crazy
