I took my cat and they could never find out what was wrong with him. The vet there don’t care she just wanted money. Long story short all the medicine and ear drops didn’t not work. I took him to a different clinic and they told me his nick got hurt but it was to late for treatment. This client could have saved my cat if they had more experience. Now I have to put my cat down 😿

The hardest thing we ever had to do was put our dog down. She was our girl. Everyone at Cedar Vet were so kind & sympathetic. I wish now I would have gotten names, but from the doctor to the assistants, they walked us through the process & what to expect. It was the first time we've ever had to do this & despite the pain we were going through, we were and are so grateful to the Cedar Vet staff for your kindness & patience through it all & not rushing us. You allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our girl. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, Anthony & Michelle Estrada Parents of Marilyn ❤

Literally brought my pup back from the brink of death due to parvo. I'm so grateful to them! It's as if he was never sick!! When we go into the vet, they know him by name and are so excited to see him. The best bet in both Clovis and Fresno!❤️

UPDATE; I took my other 3 dogs to get vaccines here (unfortunately cause my mother had already made the appointment) the nurse Samantha H. with pink hair and septum ring. She has the rudest and WORST ATTITUDE! She had absolutely no bedside manners!!! Absolutely unacceptable!! Do not take your animals here the staff is EXTREMELY rude and inconsiderate!! Not to mention how expensive this place is!! Brought my puppy in for parvo and they knew she wasn’t going to make it but they took me for my money. My puppy passed and now I have 1,666 vet bill charge when they told me the odds were good for her and that she had a 90% chance of living. Please save yourself the time, stress heartache!!!! DO NOT COME HERE FIND ELSEWHERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

This is the first time I've been here since they remodeled. Very modern, clean, and plenty of seating! 👍🏼 Before showing up for a walk-in we called to be sure they were accepting walk-ins, but had to call 3 times in order to reach someone plus waited almost 8 minutes on hold before they answered. When we got there, I waited almost 5 minutes to talk to the receptionist as they both were working on one issue instead of separately. When we got to the back the nurse and Dr. Madsen were nice, informative, friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Not sure why it takes so long to answer the phones, and why they only have 2 lines open, especially for being a hospital. Overall experience there was great, just need to work on the receptionists and phone system. Thank you 😊

My husband is a mailman and would come across the sweetest stray dog. One day he noticed that she did not come to greet him. He later found her 3 blocks from where she normally is and discovered that she was attacked by a larger dog. He called me and I rushed her to Cedar Veterinary. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. The doctor was incredible and provided her with the most quality of care! Her name is now Zelda and she is getting healthy! She was rescued right in time for Thanksgiving! Thank you to all the wonderful staff who helped!!!

They were able to take us as walk ins. I felt very comfortable with my baby there. The prices are reasonable and the staff is awesome. They were very accommodating and courteous. I appreciate that you can also text or call their front desk. They were all Deaf friendly as well which was a huge plus for us.

The treatment they gave my dog was top of the line. They were friendly and very I understanding of my concerns. My dog (very reactive shepherd mix) was comfortable around their staff. We continue to go back whenever our pets need care.

We were there for 4 hours that night but satisfied with what they did and recommend and the staff was really nice and so polite. And my Opie has had a good recovery also. It's was well worth the 5 stars. Here's photos of Opie the next day after his visit

Cedar vet clinic flat out lied, which almost resulted in the death of our cat. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. “Nick” told us that our cat had had chronic hepatitis and tumors on her liver & that the next step would be a biopsy. At this point we could not justify the biopsy knowing that we could not move forward with aggressive treatment. We brought her home on supportive (end of life) care. Cedar Vet Hospital discharged with no information on what to do when her condition worsened. The vet did not even have the courtesy to see me at our pet’s release & would not answer any questions without scheduling another appointment. We had just paid $2369.81 & they would not even see us out the door. I’d never had to deal with end of life care for a pet so I called our regular vet the next day & they were gracious enough to request her medical records from Cedar Vet & see us for a quality of life appointment. Our regular vet did an ultrasound and he found NO TUMORS at all & she was treated with oral medication. Cedar vet clinic lied about our cat having tumors & sent her home to die. It is horrendous to know that Cedar Vet would lie for unnecessary treatment/money instead of being an advocate for the care of animals. It is sickening.

I took my cat Gingy to this vet for four abscesses. The vet only addressed the two that had popped, ignoring the other two. The price for the two that had popped was $769, higher than expected. The focus on the popped abscesses seemed unfair considering the overall cost. I'm giving two stars because I liked the cats in the lobby, but I don’t plan on returning here. Side note: I treated the already popped abscesses and waited for the other two to pop before addressing all four. I used an Antimicrobial Wound Care spray from Kelly's Pets, which worked wonders. Gingy is recovering, and the abscesses on his sides have shrunk. Out of the three, only one still needs the spray.

Update: 11/2023 Very good care for your pet, but be prepared to wait (I waited an hour with an appointment for updated vaccination). Still highly recommended Dr. Madsen. He's taken care of my pup for over 8 years.

Highly recommend because I took my dog in at 8am as a 'walk in' and was seen by a tech and Dr in approx 50 min! Dr was exceptional and tech Ruby just as outstanding. In addition, the receptionist Beatrice was very pleasant and understanding my concerns. Thank you again for the great service!

I am very happy with the type of service i get. The staff is very friendly. They can be on the expensive side but how they love on your fur babies is amazing to see. I would not take my fur babies anywhere else. I just love the customer service here.

I had an amazing first time experience at cedar vet! From the girl that checked me in to the staff in the back and the doctor, everyone was amazing. We came in as a “walk in” and didn’t have to wait too long to be seen. They were so good with my fur baby and explained everything in detail. I would definitely return in the future if I have a problem with my pet. Thank you so much Cedar Vet! And shout out to Ashley she was amazing! Such a happy attitude and personality and made us feel at ease. Didn’t get everyone’s names because I was too worried about my dog, but like I said everyone was outstanding!

I can count the amount of times I went to Cedar on my fingers, but my experiences have gone quite well. The vets are knowledgeable and they allow you to choose treatment as you see fit. If you see something you disagree on it’s easy to remove it from your plan and whatnot. However, experience also somewhat depends on which vet sees your pet, some explain things thoroughly, others don’t. I do want to add that at times the receptionists can be a bit unwelcoming. And yes, the wait time for a walk-in is ridiculously long. Wait time for appointments, however, are not; you’re in and you’re out. I would say it is on the pricier side, but it isn’t absurd. The place is kept as clean as it can be with so many coming and going. Overall it’s a good experience, but I would recommend making an appointment.

Not only is this facility beautiful but the staff here are absolutely awesome! Their 8am to 8pm 7 days a week business hours are conducive with my work hours. Walk ins are welcome, prescription food and meds can be filled in office.

Took my cat to get treatment due to respiratory issues. At first everything was running smoothly, they got me into the room quickly and the doctor came in shortly. After he took a look at her, he recommended some tests, definitely on the higher end of pricing. After the tests were done. They left me in the treatment room for about 2 hrs. I’m pretty sure they forgot there was somebody in there. Turns out the doctor had 3 surgeries he had to do during my appt. I understand there may be emergencies but at least inform me of what’s happening. Anyways, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place, there are plenty of other clinics.

First time here and I'm so thankful we chose this place. My precious pet was so well taken care of, I couldn't thank them enough. All staff was so kind and caring and genuine. Also they take scratch pay and care credit which is a financial service that helps with high vet bills. They made everything so easy for us and our fur baby is recovering now. ❤
