Veterinarian Animal hospital

😠 Just don’t go there. I’m writing this from the hospital. The doctor just doesn’t care. When he took the leash he pulled it very hard and hurt my dogs neck and ear. He didn’t even apologize. I asked why my dogs eye has kind of yellow boogers nonstop he said it’s probably an allergy so change her food... Just don’t go there. I’m writing this from the hospital. The doctor just doesn’t care. When he took the leash he pulled it very hard and hurt my dogs neck and ear. He didn’t even apologize. I asked why my dogs eye has kind of yellow boogers nonstop he said it’s probably an allergy so change her food. I asked if it’ll be fine he said it’s not guaranteed. NO TEST, NO NORMAL CHECK, just nothing. He just said he’s gonna give some medications and left. I gave my dog to the staff member for the injection and I was just crying because she’s with that doc. But this one is my fault because they asked if I would like to hold her during the injection. I know this place is cheaper but the doctors service is cheap too. And one star is just because I found a dog in front of the hospital and a staff member helped to take him inside. And the girls were so nice.

This is probably, if not the best place to take your pets. Dr. Kumar is exceptionally talented and absolutely loves animals. The staff here is Polite, courteous and kind to the pets. I was very happy with my experience here. They're wonderful people, the prices are reasonable and they will provide the best care for your pets. They also service Exotic pets. I am happy to recommend this place. And they have a customer for Life. Thank you for exceptional experience.

Our dog is a 74 lb husky/blue heeler mix. She's very sweet and goofy. She needed shots and an exam. At the doctors she tends to show aggression because she has bad separation anxiety and trauma from a previous doctors visit that went horribly. We informed the staff beforehand and they said they could work with her. We went in and they gave us calming tabs and scheduled us for the day after so they could put her under sedation to give her the shots. When we went back on Sunday, the staff was extremely rude and impatient. They lied and said they'd sedated her and while under sedation "she attempted to attack them". They made a scene about it and then gave our dog back without completing any services, urging us to leave because they had another client. Mind you, we had come in very early and followed the instructions with the calming tabs. When we called back they said that they had not really put her under sedation. The staff was rude and demeaning, acted impatient and annoyed with our anxious dog, they did not attempt to service her at all, as they stated they would, and had us pay $50 for an exam they did not complete, only her weight was checked. If your dog is anxious, don't go here, they have no patience and will act hostile towards you the entire visit.

doctor didn’t handle my bearded dragon properly and barely checked him, disregarded my concerns. also wasn’t addressing me hardly at all and spoke to my boyfriend mostly. i had brought him in because he wasn’t eating very well and the doctor pulled at his chin (my beardie was shedding and you’re not supposed to pull shed off) and it triggered my beardie and he then tried handing him off to me. i wasted my money there. my pet now has a permanent mark from him pulling at him.

Absolutely rude nurse came out and told me to leave immediately even though it was 421, and the place closes at five. I have a new rescue kitten that I was bringing in. I immediately turned around and cancel the appointment that I made. It was absolutely rude and abusive.

30 days ago my Summer, 13 years old was a little off , not herself on our walk around our neighborhood. The end of Sept, Sept 25, 2022 I took Summer to Maroa Track pet hospital. She was getting tired quickly on our walks and was breathing rapidly. The staff there did blood work and X-rays. The Dr called me in to discuss Summer's symptoms. The Dr stated Summer's blood work looks normal but her X-rays show a slight case of Bronchitis and she has kidney stones. I asked how this could happen as Summer has always been healthy. The Dr was hard to understand so I asked him to repeat some of his explanation. The Dr prescribed antibiotics for 10 days, which would help Summer's appetite as she had lost a few pounds due to this issue, $632 in total. Long story short on our 2nd follow up, which was 10 ldays ater than advised, Oct 30, 2022, Summer was in worse shape than I could have imagined. Sumner had lost more weight and still breathing rapidly. The Dr now said Summer is Anemic, low iron. The Dr prescribed the same antibiotics as before but added iron vitamin tablets for Summer. The cost was $173. Summer deteriorated as I put her in the car and an hour later she died on her favorite spot next to me on our sofa, as I hugged her, kissed her, told her how much I loved her. I begged her not to leave me as she took her last breath. I kissed her, told her how much i loved her as i watched her life leave her body. She was my only companion. I trusted the Dr would save my Summer. The Dr never stated to me that this condition could kill Summer. I was left with the impression that Summer had a cold and would improve with her medication. I did not know Summer was suffering from a lack of oxygen resulting in low red blood cells. I found this out on my own. I would have done anything to save her. Ask questions, get a clear detailed explanation, ask if the illness could be fatal. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Still crying for my Summer, forever in my broken heart 💔. Another $230 to cremate my Summer love.

Was recommended here by my friend Karen Ross-Whala and so glad I was! We made a same-day appointment for a foxtail in the ear. I was in, out and foxtail-free in 29 minutes. Dr. did an amazing and super fast job. He was very thorough and made sure there were no more foxtails in either ear. Very friendly, efficient and clean! Shout out to Erin for making our boy Jack feel safe and loved during a scary and painful time!! She is a pup whisperer, look at how he just fell in love with her. This pic says a thousand words, thanks so much for all that you do! ❤️

I took my hamster in, because I thought she might have wet tail! I called to get her in, asked if they’re a exotic vet, was told, yes they see small pets, that require exotic pets! Vet came in the room, literally dumped my hamster in the box I had her in, knowing she wasn’t feeling well! Looked at her with discuss on his face, was in the room for 2 minutes, never gave my hamster an examination! Gave my hamster antibiotics for 10 days! Now my fur baby is worse then what she was! I looked up the antibiotics they gave me, it was for cats and dogs! They could have told me to see an exotic vet, instead of me wasting my money and taking her in there! Didn’t care for the Vet, very rude and inconsiderate for my fur baby! I wouldn’t recommend anyone taking there pets there!

The staff are really nice but the doc has no clue, took Cockatiels here, 1st one had the wrong meds given and had to be put down and then I found out he was savable, the other was on a medication which I had at home and it said it was in date and originly given by this vet for another bird, the doc checked and said safe to use, turns out it was 3 months past its date and was the wrong med to even give, he never picked up my birds, just looked, never checked breathing, for lumps, nothing, one bird had third degree burns but wasnt interested, the vet tech knew more than the doc, as I said, they were nice and helpful, the doc is useless, eneded up taking the burnt bird to a real avain vet in Lemore and they instantly hospitalized him and he will now hopfully be ok. the Lemore vet charge $45 for exam fees and check nitrally everything. basicly I was charged an expensive $80 to get my bird weighed by the vet tech, nothing eles was done what so ever, was the same on all prvious visits, I am fuming.

My Great Dane had a severe allergic reaction at the rabies shot that was given here. He lost all mobility in his back legs. I took him to another emergency vet and gave him the paperwork from Maroa. The emergency vet immediately recognized he was given multiple shots at the same time which is not recommended for giant breeds. My problem with this is that the vet techs just take your dog to a closed room without you present or a vet present. It’s very concerning that these vet techs are allowed to administer shots without you present. Every other vet office, they are in the room with you talking it through with you as they administer the shots to your dog. The incident with my GD happened a few months back - I brought my border collie in to get seen to give it another chance and was greeted so rudely by the colored hair girl at the front office because I was a walk in (even tho I was an existing customer). I do not recommend this vet to any giant breed dog owners!!! Beware!!! They caused more damage financially and emotionally than it’s worth. Get what you pay for here… cheap shots = $1,500 emergency bill!!!!

They are wonderful. They give u good honest advice (if u choose it) and care about you and your pet. They saved my babys life. They overcame the odds and gave me more time with my girl, which is worth more then and dallor amount. Dr Kumar is a hero. They even called me the next day to check on her. I 100% recommend this place

Maroa Pet Hospital took such great care of my dog when she caught kennel cough. They were able to fit her in as a new patient the same day and within just a few hours, we left with a diagnosis and meds. Thanks again for the help!

Our beloved family dog developed a growth on her hind leg which was causing her extreme pain. We couldn't get an appointment with her primary Vet and it being an emergency we took her to the ER where they charged $$$ and did nothing. We were referred over to Maroa track pet hospital by our primary vet where you can do a walk in with no appointment. The office was busy but they moved fast. The vet was kind and very knowledgeable. He wasn't looking to over charge us, he was honest and explained all the options we had. As walk ins the vet was able to assess our dog, do a procedure, and send us on our way with thoroughly explain discharge information. I was shocked at how quickly everything was done (we waited a lot longer at the ER and we were the only ones there). The best part our dog is back to normal and we will forever be so grateful for the services this clinic provided us in such a desperate time of need. THANK YOU! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The staff and doctor are amazing. They were so kind to us during a difficult time, and I'm very thankful. Their hours are excellent as well. If you are in the awful position of having a sick pet, I fully recommend bringing them here.

One of the best veterinary hospitals in Fresno. Took our newly adopted puppy there for her FREE check-up that U get when U adopt a pet from CCSPCA. The place is clean & the staff are nice & very helpful. Located on Maroa North of the train tracks South of Sheilds on the west side of Maroa. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly. 👌 🙏

I am extremely happy with this hospital. They took great care of my cat. The doctor spent a lot of time speaking with me and addressing my cat's issues. Everyone was very friendly, which made a typically stressful event much more bearable. I will be coming here with all my pets in the future.
