I wish I had taken the time to read these reviews. The one star is for the employees i feel are too good to be working there. If you are able to stay away from this place please I urge and beg you to do more research on finding a better place for your child best concern. I saw things no parent should ever see and im severely traumatized from the whole experience. My wait time was 2 hours. I went in believing it that my childā€™s cavaties would be filled with white fillings because that is why the dentist sent us here. They put my child to sleep before even discussing a treatment plan and even though I asked for a different procedure they still performed the one they suggested. One of the crowns is crooked. I believe they did more work than necessary and I feel I was not given enough time to decide what would happen. I was not aware they donā€™t allow parents in while their children are getting work done. They didnā€™t allow my child to fully come to their senses before rushing us out. Your children will leave this place kicking and screaming and in so much pain. No child or parent should be traumatized in that way. I donā€™t know why dentists refer this place, do not come here.

I was sent here by my son's dentist because he needed treatment done that he would not let them do over there. We've been waiting since February and now it's April. Just been getting the run around, saying the person you are supposed to talk to is not there, they on a lunch break and will call you back and we were always reaching out to them, also that they need insurance information which I provided several times. So I was curious and looked up reviews on this place. I got nervous and thought maybe it was a good thing that it took 2 months so we can find another place. I told my son's dentist about this situation and they did not like hearing what we were going through. They told me they will send us to Kids Dental Group in Hanford. BEST DECISION EVER so glad we switched. We got an appointment 3 weeks later. Kids Dental Group in Hanford is kid friendly and the environment is so welcoming! Nice big fish tank and walls painted it was so nice in there. I wish I would of read the reviews first so I could tell my son's dentist to find us another place so his dental work could be done.

I was reluctant to come here for my daughterā€™s cavities since the reviews werenā€™t great, but I honestly had a completely different and positive experience. All the staff from the receptionist, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the dentist were incredibly nice and informative. I had my daughters primary dentist send her referral on Friday and the office called the following Monday to schedule her to be seen all in the same week. I actually got a call that there was a cancellation and she could be seen earlier so I had no issue with the scheduling process. We got checked in by 8 and she was in the back having her procedure around 9:15 and we got checked out to leave around 10:45/11. I feel that the wait time was more than normal. The Dentist talks to you after they take x rays and shows you on a screen exactly which teeth they will work on and what he plans to do. The procedure itself was fast, around 30mins, and the staff keeps you updated the whole time. While your child is under you stay in an open waiting room where you can hear when they wake up from anesthesia and then a nurse calls you over to calm them down. The nurse who helped me when my child woke up was named Gail and she was very patient and explained my childā€™s behavior is normal since they are usually confused waking up. Once your child is up you sign your dispatch paperwork while the nurse goes over aftercare procedures then you are on your way. They definitely donā€™t kick you out right away- I was told I could stay as long as I wanted but I chose to leave and they wheeled me and my daughter out to our car so I could continue holding her on my lap. The only negative is just 1 parent is allowed to be there and thatā€™s tricky when your kid wakes up flustered and youā€™re trying to calm them down and sign paperwork. Overall Iā€™m definitely going to try to not come here again, but if my kid ever needed more work done, weā€™ll be coming here.

After reading all the reviews on here I got worried about taking my son in. But our experience was great. My son had his appointment at 6am & his dad took him he got out around 8am. The wait wasnā€™t long either as many say on here. The receptionist was great the first time I went in they let me know theyā€™ll check with his insurance & give me a day for his surgery. The anesthesiologist & the dentist were both very helpful. They got down to it & let me know what was going to happened. Answered all my questions & concerns. They didnā€™t sugar coat what was going to happen. Dad waited in the waiting room once our son was out he was able to see him. Staff & building very kid friendly

I was very hesitant to come here because of all the BAD REVIEWS but from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE they did a GREAT JOB with my 2 year old. I was so nervous that she was going to be put under general anesthesia but the doctor and the nurses and the people at the front desk made it comfortable with the whole process. Before going in they told me it can take 3-4 hours so be prepared but It took alittle over 2 hours for the entire process then we went home . I was surprised how quick it was. But they did such a great job with it all. I feel like the people with bad experience mustā€™ve had a more severe case thatā€™s why they waited so long or whatever the issue might be. Based off reviews I judged this surgery center without knowing myself but having to experience this place , Iā€™m glad I decided for my daughter to come here ! I notice with the bad reviews people are complaining about the long wait times because they were scheduled in the afternoon, sorry but you are told ahead of time youā€™ll wait 3-4 hours or so be prepared. I was told that when you are scheduled in the afternoon it can take a bit longer then the mornings. I wish people can understand you canā€™t rush the doctor or nurses when their putting your child under anesthesia and starting the process.. I guess every experience is different but to me Everyone there was polite and nice!

Starting from the appointment to the staff and the whole experience, everything went smooth.yes it's very scary having to take a child to this place, but let's be honest we wouldn't have to if we made better choices for them.overall i can say the least likeable thing was the wait at the beginning which can be overwhelming for a toddler.

Perfect. For those reading reviews these people were frustrated only at the wait time. For us there was a bit of a wait time but nothing compared to some surgeries I've waited on. Plan was explained before anesthesia. After xrays DDS came in and explained and SHOWED me why things needed to be done. A bit difficult to understand (perhaps because of my medical problems) but repeated himself until I understood (THANK YOU). Anesthesiologist was perfect despite MY child not doing the best with sedation. Nurses are phenomenal. A local was used for pain. My suggestion for this place is to book one less patient an hour because I couldn't imagine the wait times for afternoon appointments, the longer the wait the more frustrated the child the more frustrated the caregiver.

Like everyone else here I was very hesitant because of how many bad reviews but at the end of the day everyone gets a different experience. I loved the whole experience. The stuff was friendly and made us feel comfortable all the time we were there. My sons procedure was schedule at 6am and we were able to be out at 8am. Yes, itā€™s very scary to see your kid after theyā€™re waking up from anesthesia, mine was fussy and disoriented but itā€™s normal. We never got rushed out of the place and they were very helpful. When we were able to go home one nurse takes you all the way to your car in a wheelchair so you never stop holding your child. Very happy with my experience.

Had to bring my son here and I was honestly very scared, as any mother would be. I had a ā€œgreatā€ experience with this office (nobody wants to be here to begin with but we had to!) the staff were all friendly and calm, which helped to calm me down a bit. They were very sweet and soothing to my son. Both dr and anesthesiologist explain everything very thoroughly. I donā€™t want to, but if my son ever needs something like this again, I would come back. One of the other reviews, she explains the whole process really good. Iā€™m too lazy to type that all out lol but itā€™s a very good description of exactly what youā€™ll go through.

The staff are very welcoming, respectful, and very comforting !! I was soo glad that I was referred here my son had a lot of work that needed to be done (16 cavities to be exact):/ they did every bit of work with one visit.! It made everything so much easier especially because my son has very bad anxiety and panic attacks.!! 10/10 definitely recommend to any mama .

Even though my appointment was at 6:30am & they didnā€™t call me back until 8 something, itā€™s cause they go by order of who got there first. But other than that they were very helpful & nice. My son was out of surgery in less than an hour. I like how they wheel you out to your car! Great experience

Took my son here to get work done and all of the staff were very friendly, they took the time to explain everything step by step. Be prepared to wait a long time prior to going back for surgery but overall great experience. We spent about 4 hours total but that was also explained to us prior to going.

After the first initial consultation, waited weeks never got a call back confirming my daughters insurance was accepted or not. I had to call and see what was going on. I was told she was approved but nobody had called to make an appointment. We made an appointment and the nurse Giselle said it would be 4-5 hours total. She called me the day before and said they had a cancellation and we could come in at 930. So we showed up at 915. After waiting 2 hours they finally called us but not to go to the back but to complete the registration. I asked her why I waited 2 hours just to complete registration and she just ignored me like I didnā€™t even ask her a question. So we waited another 2 hours with bad kids and even worst parents who donā€™t parent their kids. Finally at 1:15 we were called to the back. This whole making patients wait is crazy. Was there for a total of 6 hours. 4 hours in the waiting room and and 2 for the actual procedure. The staff in the back were nice and friendly. I donā€™t understand this wait time. Iā€™m sure they will give an excuse on why we waited so long. I wouldnā€™t recommend this place unless you are cool with waiting hours with a bunch of annoying kids and their equally bad parents.

I love how the staff was there for me through every step of the way before and after the dental surgery for my child, You guys are Amazing thank you so much for giving me peace of mind at a very anxious time in any parents life while their child is under anesthesia. They even followed up with a phone call to check on how she is doing the day after her surgery, It made me feel like they really care. I truly appreciate that thank you guys.

Everyone was very nice and professional. From the front at the receptionist to the anesthesiologist to the end with the nursing staff. They had a staffing problem but handled everything very well. A lot of communication about our place on the agenda. Cant emphasize enough how nice everyone was.
