I honestly donā€™t take the time out to review anything that has to do with healthcare. Because I know during these times the volumes are high and stress level is too. Everyone is short staff. With that being said that doesnā€™t give anyone a reason to treat patients with disrespect and rudeness. I wasnā€™t a patient here but I accompanied my Mom. I was just shocked from the minute she got there the front desk told her it will be a 2-3 hour wait - and that she should just go home and try another day? When my Mom was injured and in pain. Keep in mind it was about a 45 minute wait time. Itā€™s as if they wanted to scare us ti leave. The only good encounter we had was with the sweet xray technician she was so kind and made my Mom feel comfortable. Then to top it off my Mom had a follow up appointment that they rescheduled a week after her original date to only attempt to change it again the 3rd time recommending a phone visit. How does that make sense for an injury that needs to be assessed in person? I really hope you guys hire caring staff members.

Overall, everyone I met during my visit was kind and compassionate in performing their different duties. The main reason for the 3 star is the lack of communication and ability to estimate wait times. When I arrived, the waiting room is relatively empty (maybe 10 people & 20 empty chairs), but even with that there was no anticipated estimate that my visit would take 4 hours total. I waiting most of that time in the waiting room, but even when I got taken back, there was another 1 hour of waiting for the 5-10minutes max with the NP. The staff doing intake and vital signs, seemed stressed and overextended, so much so they were exchanging patients to attempt to help one another-which in turn caused them to not even check my vital signs during my visit. I hope that Concentra will design an estimated wait time for their patients. I would have come another day had I known it would take as long as it did. So, if you go, expect great care and treatment, but also expect to be waiting a very long time to get checked out.

I came in for blood work without an appointment because when I called to make one they said I donā€™t need one. I have been waiting for over an hr and when I asked they said that other people have appointments. The lab tech was very polite and apologetic though.

The staff was great..courteous and knowledgeable but the wait times were terrible. Place was super busy and the staff was overwhelmed. Got there just after 8 (site opened at 8), checked in filled out the paperwork (drug screen and mask fit test) and sat down by 8:30....and waited...and waited. Didn't get out till 1:30. Actually testing time was less than 30 minutes...the rest was waiting.

This place took way too long to do a drug test. I wasn't even a dot test I can see if I was doing a dot test the wait time would be 2 hours but for a basic drug test for 12 panel, i'd wait almost 2 hours in the waiting room not only that but I had to come back multiple days because it was too long of await. I had finally got my drug test done on the very last day that it was due 3 hours before it was due. And even then, I had to get up at 7 o'clock in the morning. Get there by 7 and when I got there. By 7 thirty, there is 4 people in line there before me. I got in at 8 o'clock and I didn't get home till after 9:30. And that's ridiculous, it shouldn't take that long to get a 12 panel drug test for a job.

The office is crazy busy and the front office staff are doing 20 different thinks at one given time. I have experience in healthcare and understand what they are trying to do. The back office staff and providers are awesome as well which helps that they have a sense of humor. If you are a patient at this facility do not take it to heart that the front staff are being rude or ignoring you. Trust me they are doing their best to keep the practice running while keeping their last bit of sanity before going home. Good work to all who helped me out while I was there. Cheers!

Iā€™m the type of person who doesnā€™t like to visit clinics or Dr offices or anything like that. Being at Concentra Urgent Care was such a pleasure and overall a great friendly environment, I felt connected to all the staff and they were beyond professional, friendly and efficient! Kudos to Melissa and Aida for the amazing care I was given and the rest of the staff to aid me when I had questions or concerns. I would recommend everyone to come here!

There are some nice people that work there so this review does not reflect on them. However, considering the injury that I went through, when trying to express any sort of opinion or concern related to said injury done on my own accord of research or previous knowledge on the matter, I felt unheard and basically ignored. I felt rushed out of the building as quick as possible besides my physical therapy. Trying to express any concern or asking any manner of technical questions seem to go in one ear and out the other. Is definitely a lack of personal care when it comes to the patient describing their experience without being made to feel that it was either their fault or something that person is responsible for. This is just my experience. It is now April and I've been dealing with Concentra since September.

I went In last week to get a few things needed for a new job. It was very busy when I went in but the workers kept it very well together. Very professional and attentive. They were all working hard and doing the best they could. One girl that stood out was Aida. She helped me throughout the whole process and was very sweet!! Thank you to all the staff!

In the medical field proper bedside manners are of the most importance. Upon arrival I was assisted in the completion of my medical background. The intake nurses were very informative. Though very busy the staff stayed calm , and committed to properly handling everyone waiting and being seen. The Doctor was very professional and great to speak with . A very pleasant experience.

It is sad to see that there are dedicated employees that work hard and ensure their patient needs are met. However, how SAD and LAME how management thinks itā€™s OK to have 1 person sitting up front handling the plethora of patients this clinic sees daily. Unfortunate how exploited these healthcare workers are; the 3 star is ONLY to alert management to HIRE MORE STAFF. The staff actually doing the work are EXCELLENT!

I like the friendly atmosphere. I read some reviews and was a bit surprised. Then when I arrived at 4:10pm they help me out with a smile. I do Recommend this place for DOT physical $130 and out by 5pm.

Iā€™m a travel nurse who had to visit this clinic for physical and labs for compliance for my next contract. My start date got pushed back bc the labs didnā€™t process. I called this clinic and labcorp to find out what was going on and there was an issue with my date of birth being cutoff from the faxed document. My labs had already resulted but bc of the issue with the birthdate, the lab was not able to send results properly. Anyway I was very frustrated and all I wanted was for my labs to be sent so I can start my next job. Stephanie from concentra made it a top priority to get the correct information and send the results where they needed to go. I am thankful to her for assisting me with this. This clinic gets very busy and I understand when mistakes are made bc things happen. Iā€™m very appreciative though of Stephanie helping me through this, Iā€™m sure she had a pile of other things to do . Stephanie went above and beyond to communicate and follow up and actually fix the problem all in a day. She is a great employee and Iā€™m thankful to her for working with me to correct this issue. Thatā€™s what makes this rating 5 star. No company or employee is perfect but the effort and problem solving and customer service Stephanie had is what makes her an excellent employee/worker.

My visit with PT was hily rated, somewhat efficient. However the discharge process left me sitting in the waiting room over an hour!!!! Even after asking the 2 ladies at the desk as to what the hold-up was after 30minuts waiting. Then after another 30 minutes going up to the desk after hearing the staff chatter about their life. It was then they finally printed my DC papers that was time stamped at 4pm an hour earlier!!! Not happy. This caused me to hit heavy traffic, causing my anxiety posy MVA very high.

Horrible girl in front office is very unprofessional. I have a difficult time trying to speak do to a surgery and she thought it would be cute to mock me and tell me that I didn't have a appointment when accidentally I did she just didn't bother to look..Then I go in today and she FLAT OUT refused to help me and said I had to wait for her manager. Then called the gentleman behind me to assist him and even he said shouldn't you help her and she replied NO and I said MO she is just going to continue to refuse me service... I have Rights but that's okay she's going to find out......

Eddie was the person who helped me. We talked while he drew my blood and I didnā€™t even realize it was over because it didnā€™t feel like he stuck me with a needle. Great service.

I visited the office for a drug test and TB test and D.O.T physical. Was greeted with friendly staff at check-in was also notified of the wait time, witch was a plus in my book. The staff was very knowledgeable and fast, once I made it to the back. Overall satisfied with my visit.

The wait time is horrible. Went in for a pre-employment test at noon and wasnā€™t released until almost 6pm. Mind you their clinic closes at 5pm. On top of it they had me fast from the midnight prior. Overall, just expect to be here all day. So itā€™s best to bring lunch, dinner, & your phone charger.

I needed a drug screen and physical. I went in on Thursday morning at around 10am and was told there was a 3-4 hour. I asked if I could set an appointment and the receptionist said they only had appointments for the end of the month. I was not able to wait for an appointment until the end of the month or wait 3-4 hours. I decided to go the next day as soon as they opened. I arrived 5 minutes before they opened and there was already a line of about 10-15 people. I filled out the paperwork and got my drug screen and physical done before 10am. The doctor and medical assistant were professional. They are extremely busy, so if you need something done soon and donā€™t have an appointment I suggest you donā€™t wait until the last day and go in before they open. Also parking is very limited. I saw a few people park across, but you might get towed.

A lot of people but that's what to expect in an overpopulated city. The staff were very serious I imagine they just deal with a lot everyday. I had an appointment and I waited about 40 min. I took a drug screen, a physical and a audiogram. For the physical they made me get into a gown which was completely unnecessary. I was the only one in the room with the male doctor it made me feel uncomfortable. I was made to do squats in a gown that shows a lot on my side. I could have did that in the sweatpants that I was wearing. The whole thing took about 2 hours. The lady who handled my drug test and audiogram was really nice though.

2-hour wait in a makeshift waiting area. No A/C. Understaffed. Short on providers. Finally got called and taken to the back only to be told it would be another 2 hours from that point. Suffice it to say, I left. The most horrendous experience ever!!! I must add that the medical staff that did take me back was a wonderful young lady and definitely underappreciated and overworked!

Arrived at 7:30 am for a pre employment drug test. When the door opened was told to come back at 11am and my place in line would be held. Arrived back at 10:45. Waited until 2pm to be seen. I think they need to manage appointments better.

  • 1/5 daniel r. 1 year ago on Google
They know they are going to get a large amount of walk-ins but do not have enough staff to accommodate them. So the wait gets longer and longer as the day goes. Itā€™s their bread and butter doing drug tests and physicals but they act like itā€™s not.

  • 1/5 Angel N. 1 year ago on Google
The wait time is extremely long. I waited 1 hour and 50 mins to have a 2 mins vision test done. Thereā€™s a huge need for better structure on their process and procedures. Will not recommend to come unless youā€™re able to wait almost 2 hours to be seen.

  • 1/5 Jesse M. 1 year ago on Google
Showed up 15 minutes early to my 11 am appointment. Waited for 2 1/2 hours to get seen. Both girls in front are rude they do not acknowledge you at all even if I'm standing in front of the counter. This appointment was for a pre hire DOT physical. The employer had everything sent over these guys just took forever.

  • 1/5 Jerry M. 1 year ago on Google
I wouldnā€™t recommend anyone to go here unless you really need to. Physical background test had to be early in the morning and if you come in late they will not accept you. Limited spot available. This is the only client that does this. If you canā€™t accept your clients than make sure you have reservation availability for your clients and donā€™t allow walk in to keep up with demand.

  • 1/5 Madison W. 1 year ago on Google
Don't go here. They're going to make you wait forever and the doctors are always going to put the companies interests before the patients health. Took a heavy box to the top of my head. Tells me to keep an ice pack on it. He says keep an eye out for worsening symptoms for the next week and come back on monday for follow up while also saying that I can return to work today. Not sure how id work my warehouse job while keeping an ice pack on my head. He completely disregarded me saying I'm slightly dizzy and have a bad headache that was made worse by waiting for almost 4 hours in super bright flourescent lighting. So kinda strange that im good to return to work the same day. while saying I need two follow up appointments, one this coming monday and one on the 14th? This place is a cash grabbing joke. And they gave me an ice pack that wasn't even cold. So I'm supposed to keep it on my head at work today for my remaining few hours I was cleared to return for " and after" With an ice pack that isn't even cold in the slightest. Can't make this stuff up!

I have to go to a ton of urgent cares for pre-employment tests for travel nursing. This location was hands down the most efficient and fastest one. The girls were all respectful in both PT and front desk and Aida the MA in the back was a boss doing all shots, blood draws and urine collections by herself keeping the wait minimal. For once I didnā€™t have to wait 2-3 hours just to pee in a cup!

I was there as a walk in Eddie the phlebotomist was amazing. I received a TDab and didnā€™t get the paperwork for it had to speak with manager to get paperwork. I was there at 7:40 Am left at 1250 PM.There was no communication between staff and patient. Worst experience.

  • 5/5 Grace C. 1 year ago on Google
I like this branch better compared to the other branch. The staff were courteous and respectful. It wasnā€™t crowded when I went there and the lab tech knows what sheā€™s doing, I was poked just once. At the other branch I was poked multiple times and they were not able to get it, I felt I was being practiced on and eventually was referred to another facility. I had a great experience here and was glad my employer sent me here for the pre employment lab works.

I donā€™t ever mind waiting countless hours for my drug test and work ups for work because the doctors work hard and are very personable every time I comeā€¦ā€¦ The staff on the other hand are rude to people in general not just me and I was extremely embarrassed for the so called front desk women that thinks itā€™s ok to be speaking in Spanish about how drunk they got from their work Christmas party and how they have no recollection on how they got home isnā€™t something to be proud of let alone take up all our time while we wait and take time away from our families as we all usually wait all day to be seen. The general help in general here is unprofessional, rude and thrive on latter that we have to wait to be called on while we all randomly do sections of paper work multiple times instead of having an efficient processes that actually works for all the hard working class coming in. Iā€™ll spare you more details, but I would rather drive north or south then be seen by the Central Valley staff here!

Normally I donā€™t leave reviews but the service at 30532 Concentra Fresno Jensen 2555 S. East Ave was too great to ignore. This place is awesome. And itā€™s because of the staff. The registration process was fast and simple. They all communicate very great with the patients. This is the first clinic I been to where theyā€™re walking around the waiting room offering patients free snacks and beverages. Eva made time to do that and her nurse duties. And she did it with a smile and a whole lot of kindness. Sheā€™s very professional and funny. She makes the waiting process easy and fun to get through. Iā€™ll definitely come back for future medical needs. Thank you to the entire staff, I appreciate all of you and your hard work.

Front office staff was extremely patient and organized. And very friendly back office. Staff also very kind and took their time with tests that had to be run. Nurse practitioner had very nice disposition. Explained everything she did in detail. Extremely helpful. I was made to feel very comfortable. I recommend this office to anyone.

Everyone I dealt with was very nice and easy to deal with . Michelle at the front desk was very accommodating and very upbeat in a very busy setting. The nurse who did physical was also very nice and made the experience a good one . Finally the DR was very thorough and made sure all Tā€™s were crossed . Overall I would recommend this business for your pre employment exams .
