A very good well kept park. The surrounding neighborhoods have a dangerous reputation. But that can be said about most of Fresno… just don’t leave your belongings unattended, be prepared for violent confrontations with young drug addicted gang members, and try not to travel alone. If you do, bring a weapon. Thanks for keeping our streets safe government! You’re doing one hell of a job. If it weren’t for the friendly homeless people living in and around this area I myself may have gotten robbed by a very suspicious young hoodlum. A reality they themselves have to live with everyday. But while I was laying in the grass and staring into the sky a kind older homeless man named Jason with his little dog Rocky kept their eye on me and when the suspicious hoodlum started towards me Jason let me know. I looked up and looked at the young hoodlum. He made eye contact and quickly made his exit henceforth. Besides that he also would have seen that I had my hand shoved down deep into the bottom of my backpack. Come closer you gang member trash. I got you. Don’t trip. I’ll hook it up fat. 🤠☠️ Did I mention they have a pool?

Went here to cook on Easter We went late so it was not crowded, the bathrooms were locked so we could not use them, Some people came & kicked over the garbage cans and threw trash everywhere,

It's getting better the homeless traffic has slowed down and the hanging out in the park with all the drinking and drugs wasn't present this time hopefully they keep up the good work. The after-school program is worrisome. I went to inquire about it for my kids I found the lady sitting at a table near the restroom who is supposed to be watching the children on the playground. Not a very good idea in my opinion

The place is a nightmare.... Nothing but homeless people hanging out. This is not a good place to bring unsupervised children...The problem is getting worse, just the other day I noticed tents going up....what's next? 🤷🤦🙆

I take my daughter here often because of the convenience. Not the best park in Fresno by far. But if you live near it and don't want to travel far it will do. It has 2 baby swings. Slides for the little and big kids. Grass field to play. Tennis courts, basketball court, and baseball field. A pool that is 2-4 foot deep for children. Pool hours currently during summer is open 1pm-5pm. Most of the time the bathrooms are locked. You can tell the maintenance has gone down hill the past few years as graffiti and play equipment has not been fixed.

My kids really like the playground. I don't always feel super safe here if I see random homeless walking around, But that doesn't happen too often. It's obviously a park in a working-class neighborhood, and it could definitely use a washing now and then, but the equipment is fun and it's very well-shaded in the summer. There is a big green space with lots of trees, too.

The baseball field was open, my dog was able to run around free as a stray.

Clean playground, there's picnic tables with benches with shade by trees, so maybe next time I can have a family picnic.

The park has two playgrounds based on age. There is also a basketball court, two tennis courts, a baseball diamond and a volleyball court. Very good place to bring children, and relax.

This place is absolutely amazing! The city offers an after school program for the kids that is solid. Arts and crafts, food, and games are provided free of charge.

Nice large park but the neighborhood is not the safest. Had to leave because of a fight

Could use a few more trees. Otherwise it was clean, the playground equipment isnt broken & the staff was friendly.

My dog and I visit this park occasionally and its pretty quiet. I don't believe they've opened the bathrooms yet because of Covid but its still got a playground and tables. There's a swimming pool that used to be open in the summer but you'd have to check on it and its a wade pool probably for kids only, about 2 or 3 feet. The grass is really wet during the summer but its a fairly good size with basketball hoops and baseball diamond and field. Its also got a lot of shade. Enjoy.
