This is my go to place in Germany. I discovered this awesome place while stationed here and always come back when I visit. It never disappoints, the steak auf the heisse stein and the schwarz pils cannot be beat.

Friendly & very comfortable. The 'Maultaschen mit Oma's Kartoffelsalat' is genuinely a privilege to eat. If the corner booth overlooking the river is free, sit there. Wonderful.

Good food, good service. They don’t take card as far as I am aware. There is an ATM just a few minutes walk from the place. Perhaps a good tip is to book a table if you want to eat dinner on weekends.

Nice location, tasty drinks. However the waitress carried the glasses at their rims while serving. Not so tasty

Skip it. For all of the interesting dining options in Baiersbronn don’t waste your time or money here. The food is mediocre, the service was slow and brusque, and it’s surprisingly overpriced.
