A beautiful botanical garden ... The plants shown here are classified as decorative, exotic as well as those used in medicine.Part of the garden is occupied by small gardens stylized as a theme, such as a Japanese garden, rose garden, vegetable garden ... etc. My recommendations if you have the opportunity to visit.

Entrance fee for adults is reasonable. Japanese garden and the green house is worth seeing. You can pick a comfortable patio and read your book in your privacy. There is also a great playground for the kids.

For less than the price of a coffee, we toured one of the most beautiful botanical gardens I have ever been to. They have flowers from all regions of the world, including Europe, Africa, and even as far as Japan! There is also an idyllic Biergarten to sit at and enjoy one (or a few) local beers at very reasonable prices, around €3 for 50cl. I look forward to returning to this place whenever I am near Augsburg, and a bonus, the Augsburg zoo is directly next door for a full day experience for the whole family.

A plan of the layout included with admission fee would be a welcome Addition. Highlight for me was the JAPANESE GARDEN.

Well maintained, rather large and good value for ticket price. The only thing I missed were English translations on signs.

Really nice for a day out with the kids. Everything is really nicely arranged. The last time we went there (Jan 2023) the theme was kids stories (different sculptures, from different stories were arranged throughout the garden). There's also a nice kids playing ground. The entrance is cheap: 7 euros per family. Kids do enjoy it. A great way to spend the morning/afternoon with the kids.

Incredible! A huge variety of plants from all over the world. The Japanese garden in particular was amazing and you can get a taste of tropical flowers, tropical temperatures and humidity in the tropical section even though it's unbearable to sit for too long. If you are in Augsburg it's a must visit.

Nice and peaceful place to visit by. Bit limited with plants (I guess due to climate here in Bayern). Price entrance was 3,50€ for adults, so I guess it is OK...

Must-visit place in Augsburg 😊 3.5e/person (3e for student) but very worth visiting: Japanese Garden, Tropical garden, huge park, small drinkable water fountain, clean toilets, lots of chairs to sit or lay down and rest 😊

Beautiful just beautiful, this garden it's really well preserved with many different plants and trees and with many colorful flowers, I was impressed by the beauty of some and how nice everything looks, if you go to this garden bring a picnic basket, friends, family and remember to check the weather. I fully recommend it to everyone 100%, quite wonderful.

It is a nice botanical garden with lot of plants. I visited it in March and i see there are so many plants that are dried. I would recommend to visit the place starting from later half or April or May. The place itself is beautiful. It is a big place and very good for relaxing and taking photos / photoshoots, for Picknicks. It also has a play area.

Do come to botanical garden when you plan to visit the heritage city of Augsburg. Very wide variety of flowers and plants. There are frequent buses which take you here from in and around Augsburg also plenty of car parking(free) space. The entry fee for adult is 3.50EUR

Nice green place to relax....japanese part is the best of this garden...beer garden is also nice....will visit again...if u like calm place u can give a look

The garden is really nice, very well manteined, especially I enjoyed the Japanese one, so peaceful! The visit is really worth it the 3.50, but don't forget to bring cash or coins with you as apparently they have some problems with the payment with the card. I normally pay everything with the card in the Netherlands, but I noticed that the lady at the entrance was incredibly upset with me as I didn't have enough coins and I only missed 0,30cents.....She should learn to be a little more friendly even with the tourist. I also suggest to write the explanations in English for our humble tourist that we would like to understand what we read! Thank you 😊

Been here for a special event. Something like light festival something. But I find it rather dull. The lighting is not made up properly and only for some plants only.
