Historical church of Berlin but it feels like it lost its interest now. Doesn't serve as a church anymore but as a sculpture museum and not so big or anything. The building looks very fresh, there is a lot of lights. Visit is free so why not I guess.

Sculpture museum with two floors to explore interesting art 🗿

Als ich die Friedrichswerdersche Kirche besuchte, war ich wirklich beeindruckt von der Schönheit der Ausstattung und der Innenausstattung. Obwohl ich zufällig reingegangen bin, war ich sofort von der Atmosphäre und dem Ambiente der Kirche gefangen genommen. Die Kirche beherbergt heute ein Museum, das wunderbare Kunstausstellungen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert zeigt. Besonders bemerkenswert sind die Glasfenster, die durch ihr farbenfrohes und faszinierendes Design auffallen. Während meines Besuchs entdeckte ich auch viele alte Treppen und Ebenen, die allesamt faszinierend waren. Es gibt sogar Toiletten auf der zweiten Etage, was für mich sehr praktisch war. Und das Beste daran ist, dass der Eintritt kostenlos ist. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat mir sogar angeboten, ein Foto von mir auf einem Podest zu machen, was ich als nette Geste empfand. Ich kann die Friedrichswerdersche Kirche nur empfehlen, insbesondere für Kunst- und Geschichtsliebhaber, die auf der Suche nach einem einzigartigen Erlebnis sind. Die Schönheit und die historische Bedeutung dieser Kirche machen sie zu einem Muss für jeden Berlin-Besucher.

Eine sehr schönes Beispiel der Architekturideen des Herrn Schinkel. Es ist auch ein Zeugnis hoher handwerklicher Kunst derjenigen,die diese Kirche zu DDR Zeiten wieder aufgebaut haben! Der Besuch ist empfehlenswert!

After many years of restauration, the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche is finally accessible again for the public. The church is a museum today, featuring amazing sculptures and historic information about the building. The museum features entry free of charge and shows sculptures on two levels. The building itself is definitely worth a visit, the freshly renovated interior is a masterpiece of architecture and simply beautiful. You need roughly 1-1.5 hours to see all.

A restored church building used as a gallery. It's free of charge to visit. The guards are very fun and love their jobs.

Excellent quality conversion of church to art gallery. Free entrance, no waiting, well curated sculptures with English translations. Interesting walkway around the raised gallery. Free toilets.

A really nice church hidden off the main street. There is currently a really nice free sculpture exhibit being held within the church which is an interesting site.

Built by famous architect Schinkel, this is no longer a church. It is now an exhibition of sculptures and a nice piece of architecture to look at.

Wunderschöne Kirche die man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Die Skulpturenausstellung und auch ein geschichtlicher Abriss über den Baumeister und Künstler Schinkel ist sehr interessant. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und macht auf Besonderheiten aufmerksam. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Was für eine schöne nachgebaute Kirche. Eine tolle Ausstellung mit schönen Büsten. Wir hatten Glück, dass noch ein Geigenspieler verschiedene Stücke zum Besten gab. Der Eintritt war kostenlos.

One of the oldest architectures of Berlin. The church is beautiful from the outside as well as from the inside as well, you can enter the church in the open hours, you will have to submit your bag and your jacket at the entrance of the Church, you are allowed to take pictures as well, but please maintain silence. the architecture from inside is amazing, lot, many sculptures inside, lot of description if you are interested in.

I find the idea of transforming a church into a sculpture museum excellent! It's a beautiful setting for a very nice exhibition and is free of charge to visit!

Entrance free. Nice security guy at the entrance. There is a locker where you can leave your stuff. Go on a second floor up the wooden stairs (near altar). There is a wc on the second floor too.

Die Kirche als Ausstellungsraum ist einzigartig. Sowohl die Skulpturen, als auch die Architektur sind sehenswert. Auch der Rundgang durch den Oberrang des Gebäudes lohnt sich. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos!
