    Due to the difference in the car I have booked online, I was promised a discount which will be reflected upon return of car. The discount was not reflected in the final invoice. Be careful using this car rental agency. The price may seemed cheaper upfront but does not include any limited damage waiver (you pay full loss of car in event of accident). Adding their limited damage waiver, you can definitely find better offer from other agencies. Price aside, you are unlikely to get the car you booked online. Absolutely disappointing experience using this car rental company. The whole experience at the counter is negative and pretty much left you with little choice unless you are prepared to walk away with your heavy luggages and find another agency.

Technically it was fine, but clean is definitely something different. You notice that after the driver and passenger seats you didn't feel like cleaning the car anymore. When dropping off, you have to find a parking space on the street near the branch, which, as mentioned at the beginning, is difficult. If I had known beforehand, I would have saved myself the rent in this branch.

    I want to rise A RED FLAG TO ALL POTENTIAL CLIENTS❗❗❗ I rented a car with them and all was good, they returned my deposit and all was ok. BUT Almost six months after they started stalking me and charging me for "damage" I didn't do and even negociating the amount. I referred to this case on several Facebook groups, among them expats groups in Berlin and many many other people commented about the same cases. I just want to prevent you from this horrible situation. If you want more info or have same situation please pm me.

    As a team of wedding photographers, we are constantly looking for reliable transportation options. Sixt always seemed to be a good choice and we also had positive experiences with the local branches. Unfortunately, our recent experience with customer service over the phone and online was less than satisfactory. We faced an unexpected situation and asked for goodwill in canceling a reservation. Despite our polite and detailed request, we received a standard rejection that did not address our specific situation. This experience sobered and frustrated us. We believe in transparent and empathetic business relationships and this response left us feeling like our concerns were not being taken seriously. We would like to advise other customers that although local branches are often helpful, customer service over the telephone and online may not be as expected. We hope that Sixt will use this feedback as an opportunity to improve their service so that future customers do not have to experience the same disappointment.

    One star is too much!! Very bad service we called weeks before booking and they said just book online is better and you don't have to pay until you come to get the car. We specifically booked a big car for a wedding and availability was confirmed. On the night before pickup at 6pm, pick up was 8am next morning, "Herr Schmiede" called us and to say that they don't have the big car for us. We didn't accept corona as an excuse and I told him I'm going to leave a bad review. All of a sudden the car was available. Next morning the car we booked was no longer available and they had only bad offers. We are very disappointed they left us with no car we are from out of town we put our trust in a big company only for them to play around and lie.....

    I rented a vehicle. Everything was great until then. Then I extended it by phone and I had to hand in the vehicle at the branch because it had already been rented to someone else, even though the employee on the phone promised me 100% that this exact vehicle was not rented. And in the end I couldn't get another vehicle. Very poor internal communication and I am now allowed to rent a vehicle somewhere else.

    Been renting here 20 times... All of a sudden a proof of registration is needed. And a waiting period of 30 min to get your car... Worst service ever.

    Friendly and helpful staff. From experience depending on the time of day, it might be hard to find a parking spot to be give the rental car back, so plan a few minutes extra into your return schedule.

    We spontaneously reserved a car using the app and were able to pick it up just 20 minutes later. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The car, an Audi A3 / 3.0TDI, was very clean and very easy to drive. Many thanks to Sixt for this great experience.

    I faced lot of problems with Sixt. 1. I booked for spandau location (which was near to me) and later it was changed. It was not shown during booking. 2. During the pick up only credit card were accepted though I have money in my debit cards and also cash. Surprisingly It was also not instructed while booking. Because of it I had picked up my car 2hrs late. 3. After pick up, I realised my car was not cleaned properly. I accepted it, as it was 2hrs late already. 4. I raised a complaint on the above scenario but till date i did not get any update or confirmation about the complaint. I hope that sixt will look into these and improve themselves.

    Uncomplicated booking via the website. Nice staff booking extras at the store was no Problem. No wait, car was in good condition. For the fuel tank there is a convenient full-full regulation.

    I rented a 3.5t Sprinter for my move and ordered an extra automatic when booking for 5 euros more because my friend hasn't driven a manual for 17 years. When we picked it up, we were told that we would get a manual transmission and that there were actually no such vans with an automatic transmission. Yes, friends, then don't even offer this option when booking - without even one further sentence explaining that the automatic request is not guaranteed. There are more and more people who only learn to drive with an automatic, and then they get a nasty surprise when they pick it up.

    Good afternoon. I took a car with an incomplete diesel tank and reported this to your employee in Berlin. I returned the car in Osnabrück with the same level of fuel as I took in Berlin, I have photo proof. Why do I have to pay for fuel if I returned the car with the same fuel level?

    Reservation made from ecomonycarrentals was canceled at the rental desk. Reason was my name is in a black list of the sixt. ( ???? ) I had no any incidents before and have no any comments or explains from the stuff about. And in caee if my name is in you black list - why you confirm reservation ? I spent money for taxi till and from your office . Sorry - never again .

    My experience with SIXT car rental in Berlin Charlottenburg was consistently positive. The team was extremely helpful, friendly and extremely personable. I felt very comfortable and received valuable advice about different cars. The car was also immaculately clean, as if it had been cleaned down to the finest millimeter with a toothbrush. The return also went smoothly. Kudos to the team, please continue to be professional and courteous. I will definitely rent a car from you again.

    Always friendly staff, professional and helpful. We have been renting our Sprinters there for company transport for years and can highly recommend the branch. A flexible rebooking of the car size was also possible without any problems! Tiptop!

    Service was good in general. Staff explained and apologized that they did not have time to wash the car. The interior was reasonably clean, though. However the car‘s board computer indicated a tire pressure leak. I guess having the tire pressure checked and no warnings on in the dash board is the least you could expect. I inflated tires and drove 400km with no problems.

    I have never experienced such service. I wanted to rent a BMW 3 Series and specifically asked the employees at Kudamm when the BMW 3 Series would be available. They said he would be available in Charlottenburg at 7 a.m. I got up at 6am and got there on time, but was told he wasn't available. Then the woman at the counter offered me an Audi A4 Avant, which is from the same class. But I couldn't take this either because I have to have had the driver's license for at least 2 years, even though the website says at least 1 year. Then I was offered a BMW 1 Series at a completely overpriced price. With only basic insurance and “comfort equipment” I had to pay almost 90 euros per day because I had no time and no other choice. These are completely different prices than those stated on the website. I was also told at the counter that the car had the comfort features, even though it didn't even have a rear camera. The disappointment didn't stop there. The car was very very dirty both inside and out, I assume the yellow spider on the ceiling was included in my 'comfort equipment'. I then washed the car myself. The car wasn't just dirty, it was just junk with scratches everywhere. To be on the safe side, I warned the employee, he said it was noted in the history as damaged, let's see if they charge me anything. I also paid the wrong amount before rent; instead of 360 euros it was 432 euros. At least the woman at the counter noticed and said I would get it back later. Let's see if they remember this without me reminding them. So far, very dissatisfied.
