Nach vielen Jahren mal wieder ein Besuch wo Erinnerungen wach wurden an die Zeiten des Transitverkehrs mit dem LKW wo man oft eingekehrt ist,als erste Anlaufstelle zum Frühstück oder Pausenkaffee,wo damals die Kannen zum nachschenken am Tisch standen. Nette Bedienungen um einen lustigen Spruch nicht verlegen und auch sonst zeugt das ehrwürdige Rasthaus Avus welches gottseidank nicht verändert wurde von einer lange vergangenen Zeit. Schön mal wieder dort gewesen zu sein und hoffentlich bis bald… Bleibt wie ihr seid,ihr seid ein legendäres Stück Geschichte LG

War hier gelandet mit dem Lkw, also kein Zimmer gehabt, aber morgens geduscht und Frühstuck gehabt... Das war absolut super, das Personal ist nett, Dusche, alt aber sauber. Es atmet hier geschichte...änder das bitte nie...aber es verdient meine Meinung nach etwas mehr Liebe...

Tolles Motel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir konnten eher auf unser Zimmer da dieses schon fertig war. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Größe. Es sind genügend Abstellflächen vorhanden. In unserem Doppelzimmer war ein Doppelbett, Nachttische, ein Sessel, Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, Schrank und Garderobe. Das Bad ist nicht so modern, verfügt aber trotzdem über alles was benötigt wird. Zudem ist Handseife und Duschgel vorhanden. Handtücher waren ebenfalls vor Ort. Die Bettwäsche war sauber und die Matratzen nicht durchgelegen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Stadtautobahn. Mit geschlossenen (Doppelfernstern) hörte man keinen Lärm. Mit geöffneten Fenstern war es trotzdem in Ordnung. Klar, wenn gerade ein Lkw vorbei brettert kann es schon laut werden, aber das hat mich trotz leichtem Schlaf nicht groß gestört. Es gab einen Fernseher. Dieser war allerdings recht klein. Auf dem großen Parkplatz findet sich immer ein Platz für den Pkw. Die Küche war bei unserem Aufenthalt für Speisen geschlossen. Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Es gab alles was das Herz begehrt. Ich würde sogar so weit gehen, das ich in jedem wesentlichen teureren Hotel nie ein solches Frühstück genießen konnte. Im alten AVUS Turm zu essen hat nochmal seinen Charme oben drauf. Die Anbindung an die S3 ist mit Auskunft von den Rezeptionist:innen besser zu erreichen als mit Google. Google Maps leitet einen zu einer anderen Haltestelle. Wir nahmen folgenden Weg und waren in 10 Minuten an der Haltestelle. Auf dem Parkplatz Richtung Tankstelle. Mach der Tankstelle befindet sich eine Tür im Zaun die entlang der Hochstaße führt. Links runter zur großen Kreuzung und rechts durch den Tunnel (sieht aus wie der eine Einfahrt ins Parkhaus, führt aber durchs Gebäude auf die andere Seite). Danach ist die S-Bahn super ausgeschildert (unter den Brücken durch, links hoch und nach unten zu den Gleisen). Aufzupassen ist oben fahren S-Bahnen in eine andere Richtung als oben. An den Treppen sot dies ausgeschildert.

Restaurant Besuch: Sehr gut gelegenes und historisch interessantes Restaurant an der A100 und A115. Benannt nach der ehemaligen Rennstrecke Avus. Inklusive direktem Blick auf die Autobahn! Sehr spannend! Wir hatten Glück, dadurch, dass zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs keine Messe stattfand, war es ruhig und weniger gut besucht. Die Speisekarte bietet einen guten Überblick über die durchaus meist beliebten Gerichte und ließen keine Wünsche offen. Wir entschieden uns jeweils für das typische Berliner Gericht Currywurst und Pommes. Die Gerichte waren echt lecker! Daher vermute ich, dass das auf die anderen Gerichte auch zutreffen wird. Dazu gab es jeweils ein Bier. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnung! Gerne wieder.

Stehe auf dem Messeparkplatz P12 und war in der Raststätte essen. Servicekraft war sehr freundlich. Essen kann Recht zügig und war auch sehr lecker. Hat mir dort sehr gut gefallen. Vorallem das Avus- Ambiente, einfach Klasse. Bitte so lassen, ist ein Stück Geschichte die dort dargestellt wird👍

The motel is quite far from the nearest bus station (about 12-15 mins walk), so if you don't have a car, this may not be the best place for you. Their wi-fi connection does not reach the rooms, so you need to go to the reception/restaurant to get a good connection. The receptionist speaks English, too. The room for 1-person is relatively small, but enough. The breakfast buffet was good, though. Overall, I think there are much better motels to consider than this one.

Ein schöner Altbau. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich ausgestattet. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen reichlich und schmeckt super gut

The staff is super nice! Got a room very spontaneously and it was no problem at all. The rooms are completely fine for the price and beds are comfortable. I can’t get over the breakfast, it was sooo good and the eating area has a nice calm feeling🌞

perfect when you are working at the trade fair and don't mind car sounds (highway right outside. worst place if you need working WiFi! 9 or something different hotspots and only one is working and only if you are in the reception area or the bar. NO WIFI IN YOUR ROOM!!! please consider fixing the authentication problem or take down "FREE WIFI" as a service of your motel. you are advertising free wifi in every room but if it's not working nobody cares if its free and some people depend on working wifi for work. had the wifi problem every visit and been waiting for the wifi fix for about two years now thought it was time to let other people know...

The hotel located in a good area. The Room is clean and good enough. Service is really good and the people there are friendly.

This is not a luxury place but genuine, hearthy, clean and comfortable ensuite accommodation serving mainly truck divers parking in the nearby parking lot. Nonetheless, it is a great location for anyone attending meetings in Messe Berlin as it just barely 5-7 min walk away from the site. The included buffet breakfast is amazingly good and varied, more like what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Try to access this hotel from Messe Sud rather than Westkreuz stop as the walk is easier and safer.

It’s a unpleasant place at the best of times, but it is what it is for delivering in Berlin, been coming here for 30 years, but today was greeted at the bar restaurant by the rudest most unwelcoming lady, and I use that word loosely, lady.. was going to eat but she’s the coldest person I have ever met. Walking to another restaurant.

Stay for one night. 2nd floor (no lift) The room was ok but smelt. Good shower and hot water & heating. No charging points for laptops and Phones. Bed was 2 singles made up as a double the pillows were like bin bags. WiFi is free and Breakfast was included in my stay. That alone was ok a limited selection, freshly prepared. One staff member had a VERY bad attitude. The others were all welcoming.

Good, fairly basic but adequate and clean. Excellent breakfast and wholesome food all day. Very popular. Value for money. .

I booked this hotel because it was the available at 12 am, they answer the phone, they speak english very well, and you do not need a green sticker for your vehicle in this area. And I do not know why wasn't the first choice. The room is big, very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast is also very good. S Bahn is just 15 minutes away. They also have free parking for your vehicle, and a large parking for TIR.

Ok motel, very close to Messe and the S Bahn station. Convenient for a quick stopover in Berlin or for attending a conference.

Directly next to the truck stop. Showers / Restaurant/ Hotel ….perfect to park a truck or Bus & take the public transport to town

Great value für the money, did look a big scary from outside at first, but they have a very nice breakfast room.. it was minimalistic but served the purpose of our conference visit perfectly..

I'd give it -5⭐ stars if I could... I called in to get some information and the lady answering the phone was so unpolite... she proceeded to make fun of me then answering only one question and right after she was done answering the question, with an attitude that I have never experienced before, she hung up on me!!! I firstly thought I was the problem but I had similar conversations with 3 other hotels and they were definitely not making fun of me nor being rude like this chick.

Ok, parking and good coffee , toilet is at the other building but clean !

Awful customer service. They had no interest in my needs. Theft inside my room. Stolen clothing. Locking unlocking doors, not safe!!!! Watch your back at this place!!!! Do not stay at this hotel!!! It's for truckers and German speaking people. Guests hop switch rooms. Nobody cares. The management is not interested in the comfort needs of the guest. They denied admission of video files to review the theft, everyone around who could of entered the room. Terrible terrible terrible!!!
