Danger! A really beautiful church, both inside and out. But 1000% Catholic abortion opponents. I was shocked to see, immediately to the left in the entrance area, several displays in Polish demonizing abortion and a dead, blood-smeared fetus in A0 poster size!!!! show. And that despite the fact that there were numerous children running past it after the service. It's one thing to be against abortion, but the portrayal is simply disgusting. And the pictogram showing the dismembered baby in the trash can is just as disgusting. A pity. I usually enjoy visiting Catholic churches, but this was too much. Unfortunately, everything in the interior is in Polish, so you don't feel welcome as a German-speaking visitor.

For me the most beautiful church in Berlin. Hidden down a small side street, St. John's Basilica is located next to a historic cemetery. She is beautiful, both outside and inside. I personally witnessed many events there and am humbled every time I enter this place. If you have to rate a church at all, then this one gets all five stars from me.

I've seen nicer churches. Poor acoustics, but I still like that the basilica is a place where you can go to relax and remember what it was like before Corona. Of course, it's mainly about worship

Very unwelcoming Church. If you are coming from far, I will not recommend this Church at all. I only attend because its near to my house. Not friendly and Nice place for people from other countries or backgrounds. Everything here is so stiff. They seem to abide mainly by Strict Polish Culture and have no regard for other people from other backgrounds or race. I have been a Catholic all my life and have attended Catholic church in most Countries. This is the first Catholic Church I felt unwelcome. It was as if they have this aura of "You are not welcome here. Go away." Very unwelcoming. The Church is meant to be a no barrier zone where Souls are saved and uplifted to God. If not Proximity to my House, I will never step foot inside this Church. I Feel sad to say this because THE CHURCH IS MEANT TO BE THE TEMPLE OF THE MOST HIGH GOD and a Bearer of the light of Christ. This Church is the very opposite of what Jesus Christ would have wanted and Preached. The Folks here treat people differently and its quite Sad. Believe me when I say this.

Didn't get the full catholic experience. Confession was grand but the mass was that of an amature. I've seen more than a few masses in my time but this one lacked the gumption. Father Ted woulda nailed it better. The gaff itself was alright. The prodestant folks looked more satisfied and nothing makes me more angry than a satisfied Luther 😉 all in all the boys did good. Those boxes do get all sweat actually haha don't blame ye

The Basilica of St. John the Baptist (German: Basilika St. Johannes der Täufer Patron von Breslau) also called Basilica of St. John the Baptist Patron of Breslavia is the Catholic cathedral seat of the Military Ordinariate of Germany. The church is located in the district of Neukölln in Berlin. The first stone of the basilica was placed in 1894. The architect of the project was August Menken, who had thought of the church as a basilica in the Romanesque style of the Rhine. The solemn inauguration of the church took place on May 8, 1897, in the presence of Emperor William II and Empress Augusta Victoria.

We were here for a confirmation. Great church - ornate decorations and leaded glass windows. The only drawback is that the parking spaces nearby are exorbitantly expensive.

I wanted to ask about confession - is it possible to confess in Polish every day or only on Sundays?

Different. After you've been around for some time and seen all the - very elegant but pretty much look-alike - Kirchen, you see it's different, unemphatic, humbly waving you through the trees from a small side street, quietly sat at the gate to an old cemetery, simple, almost low-key, and yet there, strong, self-confident and serene. Just next door to no less than the Apostolische Nuniatur, the embassy of the Vatican to Germany.

Unfortunately closed at 11 a.m. in the morning. No advance information about opening times was found anywhere. So we drove here specifically. Unfortunately without success.

Unreasonable amount of noise pollution. Do the bells really need to ring at 8 in the morning? Do they really need to ring that long? And again at 12? And randomly in the weekend, often for multiple minutes? This is seriously disruptive for people who are on a late sleeping schedule.

I have a comment and therefore a request to the organist if she could sing the entire pieces, not just the beginning. He has such a beautiful voice that it would be nice to listen to the whole song, especially since few of the faithful sing. I'm sure, that many people are of the same opinion. Thank you and best regards.
