Schönhauser Allee - where the overground train is underground and the underground train is overground. A great train station.

You want to see the heart of old Berlin, how it's works for more than 150 years ... than you need to go to this melting point of U-Bahn, S-Bahn and several trolley car lines. This connecting station is very busy at day and night. Close by is one of the regular shopping malls you can find at any other places of the big city, but here is one of the most frequently mall. On the street level you will find dozen of coffee shops and other restaurants and some special shops for you special interest. This station is a good access for you visiting tour around the famous Prenzlauer Berg, all the interesting points are nearby just by walking, but be aware ... the Berlin speed of walking is near to the NYC speed, never stop in the middle of the path, never stop on the stairway ... always go, go, go!

I love this place. It's so vibrant. And the most important thing is the availability of the cost-free public toilet 😅

The previous review is correct - the underground IS overground and the overground IS underground. I met Susan from Brighton here, and it was the perfect meeting place.

Service of DB is absolutely unattractive dumpster material, someone needs to let them all go and recruit a new team from scratch

🫤 If you are doing a transfer to f.i. The airport, THERE IS NO monitor that shows the next trains …. You basically have to know yourself that the FEX leaves from platform 13 and the RE8 and RB 23 leave from platform 1….. you can always try to look for the big printed yellow information papers ( if yo...

👍👍 The Brandenburg Gate is much more than just one of Berlin’s historic city gates. It is one of the world’s most famous Berlin landmarks. It is a symbol for many important historical events of the 19th and 20th centuries. Many music festivals with light and sound modern technologies
