My favorite bakery for 37 years. Everything produced in-house on a small scale. The pretzel hoernchen are simply a hit throughout the district. An old family business that you simply HAVE to support. A business like this must never be lost 🤞😍😋😘😋

The “Bäckerei Specht” in Riedhirsch is a village bakery straight out of a picture book. The tiny sales room exudes incredible charm and the saleswoman behind the counter is in no way inferior. A true bakery gem. The "soul" was a little big for our liking and not quite as crispy, but ultimately very decent. We liked the “Knauzen”, the “Hellen” and the “Laugenhörnle” straight away. The "Ciabatta" was also very decent. The “Hefezöpfchen” and the “Nusshörnle” were both also good.

Very quaint little bakery where everything is still made by hand. You can see and taste that too. Really excellent quality. I don't claim to know all of the Allgäu bakeries, but of the ones I know, the Specht bakery is the best.

The best bakery in the Allgäu. At least from those I know. No, joking aside. Everything is baked using the best craftsmanship. Even if you sometimes have to wait in line, it's always worth it.

Wonderful little bakery with a lot of charm and super friendly service. The wood-fired bread is absolutely amazing. Be careful when navigating with Google Maps. We were led through a small residential street. But you can also get directly from the main road to the right street.

Excellent pastries and breads are baked here. The quality speaks for itself. People like to come from further afield. Can definitely be recommended.

Excellent baked goods. It's worth shopping there...always a pleasure. The Easter lambs were delicious. The staff are super friendly and warm. 5 stars 👌 deserved

By far the best bakery in the area and the price is more than fair. Here you can get a full bag for €4.

Great little bakery with delicious rolls, breads and confectionery. You also get a small selection of other things, such as eggs. Very friendly service, lots of people in line to chat in front of the bakery. Definitely worth a visit!

Very good bakery, the employees are always friendly. Here you can find the best rolls and croissants in the area, pleasantly crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside and still edible even after days.
