Hi All Orbis is one of the worst at their customer service. While renting an apartment they will talk to you very politely and after renting the apartment no one will respond. I moved out from Orbis in the month of February and yet I didn't received any kind of deposit. They said it will take 8 weeks to give my deposit back but till now I didn't received a penny. I try to call them and wrote millions of emails but none of them were responded. I strongly suggest, not to rent an apartment from Orbis.

I can say only positive things about my experience with Orbis Apartments because we were able to find remotely without viewing it. And the flat was clean, with new towels and linens. Also, they allowed us to move into the apartment with our fluffy cat. The only minor problem that faced it that key from the mailbox wasn't provided during check-in, but the facility manager brought it in a week.

I rented with Orbis Apartment 6 months. The apartment was good but I have 11 weeks after finish my renting without get the deposit. I have tried to communicate with them several time and have get 2 answer that they will check but nothing clear. Don't know what to do

The apartment was in a great condition when we moved in. Over our stay of 6 months, whenever we had minor house maintenance issues (ie. light bulb needed to be changed), Orbis sent us a technician within a day or two. 100% recommend for people who are new to the city and looking to get settled.

I currently rent a room owned by Orbis. Before I payed the deposit they where answering my emails within 5 min. Since I payed I’ve got no more answers. I have been waiting for answers for over a month and nothing. We are 4 adults shearing a flat in which we have to shower with the door open cause the steam extractor is broken (I been reporting this since I moved in), the pipe of the kitchen sink fell down flooding the kitchen (I sent an email with pics one month before this happened, and another one to remind, and then another one when this happened… no answer), the light in the hallway is set up in a way that doesn’t work and the Orbis employee they sent told me “you have to live with it”. One of the housemates is moving out and he still doesn’t receive an answer on his emails.

I rented from Orbis for about 18 months and my experience was a pleasant one. The flat I rented met my needs and I was able to extend my lease multiple times with ease. Check in and check out was easy. For mid term stays in Berlin I would definitely recommend. Staff spoke very good English which was extremely helpful. The flats are pricy but are all inclusive which was nice.

Good: An amazing solution for temporary accommodation from 3 to 6 months. the price is a little high but it is a good value for the money. - We received the apartment in great condition and the handover process was smooth. - It is written in the contract that the deposit will be return in 2 months however they return it in less than one month - The staff is friendly and understand family situations Bad: - Sometimes the communication not good, However, they do their best effort to solve your issue I highly recommend the Orbis Apartments to the newcomer in Berlin, However, Don't forget it is temporary accommodation

I've been working with the people from Orbis Apartments for around 6 months now and I'm very happy with their services when it comes to helping out with any issues, answering my questions over email and other requests I might have. The apartment looked great, just like in the pictures on the website and everything so far has been great. Highly recommend working with them!

Worst experience ever! The apartment was incredibly dirty when we arrived, no dish washer, TV wasn't working, dirty laundry inside de washing machine, cat hair everywhere and..... NO INTERNET!! We had to call, send multiple emails and even go to the Orbis Office to solve it. It took them more than a month!! And then when we left they took 11 weeks to give us the deposit back, again, after calls and emails. It was incomplete, and the reason was "the apartment needed extra cleaning", and I still haven't received the receipt for it. The employees keep saying things like:"I am not responsible for it" or "I will call you back with the solution" (not happening). We even sent an email to Florian (the funder), to eventually realized that he just forwarded it to another employee. And the worst of all Bernhard, even the other employees had to apologize for him, he was rude and instead of doing his job he spend around 15 minutes taking about how important he was (he said CEO like 20 times). Honestly, I understand Berlin housing market is complicated. But there are other companies, so if you see the apartment linked to this company, RUN AWAY!!

I stayed in one of their apartments for two months. The apartment was nice and exactly same as described. There was a minor issue with the water supply but the Orbis team resolved the issue quickly. While checking in and checking out, the hand over was done professionally. It took little more than 2 months to be the deposit refund but I would not complain about that. Overall a great experience.
