Best fried chicken spot in Dallas, hands down!! The service is always on point, the staff is upset welcoming and friendly. The food is SO delicious. Crispy, beautifully cooked fried chicken. And the sides are equally as scrumptious. They don’t have a menu so if it’s your first time, they will verbally tell you the few things they serve which includes Fried Chicken, Biscuits, Fried Cat Fish, and unlimited sides (corn, mashed potato, gravy and green beans). As soon as you’re seated you are immediately served some sweet salad with biscuits. Then the food follows shortly and I highly recommend trying their house made RC Cola! I love this place. The ambience is always busy, hot spot, popping and there’s very interesting signs and phrases all over the walls! I’ve had the owner of meeting the owner as well, who’s just such a great soul. And one of my favorite servers there is Aspen! Shout out to her. Definitely give this place a try, you will certainly be pleased.

We, as in a large family reunion party, sat down to eat. We ordered, and within minutes, food was coming out. These folks know how to handle crowds. The chicken and sides were very good. I was not disappointed! There was always someone or two moving about checking on all the patrons. You didn't feel lost in the crowd, even if you brought it with you. The signs on the walls of this place definitely set the tone. Great place for one and all to eat.

The staff were friendly and attentive on our second visit. We brought a large group, yet we were seated quickly. The service was on point and the food, satisfying. Prior Review: The staff were polite and friendly, but didn't seem very excited to be there. They did a hokey pokey dance at certain intervals and seemed tortured by it. A man in a cowboy hat, who seemed to be a manager, stood at a podium staring at the staff, gripping the podium like a baptist preacher with a hellfire sermon on his mind. He didn't seem too happy to be there either. Occasionally a staff person grabbed a mic and sang an auto tune assisted ditty for the diners. It was awkward, but a nice attempt at atmosphere enhancement. Overall I didn't dislike it. It made me smile. Oh and the food...savory but over-seasoned. I'd like to come back and give it another go. We were there on a holiday so we may not have had the A team working that day. I'll update my review should things go better on my next visit.

Wonderful place with sharming Wild West atmosphere (maybe the natives of Texas don't think so, but it really seemed to me so - sorry, I am a foreigner). In any way, I felt very comfortable inside and sure, you will feel the same when you come. The menu or better, the absence of it and the meals made of chickens and catfish that you can choose, are also wonderful and the garnish of corn is unforgettable (I ate two dishes of it and failed withe third, because for my stomach it was more than enough). The queue of those who wanted to enter and taste the meals, showed to me very clearly that this place is very recommended!

I can’t quite put into words how special Babe’s is. The inside makes you feel like you’re in a uniquely decorated small town, but it’s INCREDIBLY endearing. The food is absolutely phenomenal, and the prices are spot on. The smoked chicken is great (you may be tempted to do fried, but I urge you to let at least one family member order the smoked chicken because it’s sooo delicious)! The mashed potatoes and creamed corn and salad… omg I’m craving it all over again!

The food was delicious but the service was a bit slow - waited a while for our waiter to come back so we could refill our sides. However, this place is insane value. It’s $20/entree but comes with unlimited sides - mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits, salad, and collared greens. Sides were delicious, fried chicken was good but could be juicier, and catfish was amazing. Would recommend this place!

Babes is in my top 3 restaurants of Texas. The atmosphere and food keep us coming back. The all-you-can-eat family style menu keeps everyone happy.
