Best BBQ in Texas!! The sliced brisket was amazing. Jalapeno filled with brisket and cheese and wrapped in bacon was so big and good! The complimentary peach cobbler and banana pudding is the huge cherry on top! Not only are they free with dine in but they are so delicious!! Can't wait to go back! Oh the line gets long but they have complimentary ice water and umbrellas to beat the heat! That's nice!

As far as BBQ goes, this is top notch. I started out with a big Beef Rib and it was incredible (pricey at $50) but soooo good. Also had the brisket stuffed pepper. That was good but not great. Wasn’t warmed so that could be easily fixed. The brisket was excellent and the pulled pork was good (not great). The sides were fine but your really after the meat and it was exceptional. Definitely highly recommended.

Overall great experience! There is a line but it goes by fast. They have water, mist fans, umbrellas, and sample meats while you are waiting in line. Definitely was intimidating order meats since I wasn’t aware of how much it equates to in slices and it didn’t help that our butcher was rude. Just know you can’t order a quarter pound of meat it’s a 1lb or 1/2 lb. After that sides are by the boat so you can pile as much as you want in a boat and pay I think it was $3/boat. The meat is weighted and that is how much you pay. Complimentary desserts for dine-in only. Highly recommend the cobbler with ice cream. Brisket is so good!!! Texas Twinkie wasn’t for me. It is definitely an eat and go type of place due to the line they will come by and ask you if you need any boxes or if you need anything cleared so you can go. Would be back for the brisket and the dessert.

Hutchins Barbeque in Frisco, Texas, a suburb just north of Dallas. It was a Wednesday evening around 7 PM and I have to say I was surprised at the number of cars in the parking lot, but it’s a good sign. That means people love this place. As I walk in and have the option to order takeout or dine in. The dine in section is set up, kind of like a cafeteria style. You get a tray and you order your meat by weight and pick out your sides as you slide your tray down the counter. For sides you get these little baskets and fill them up to your hearts content. Then there are toppings and sliced bread and butter that are free. At the end, you pay for everything including drinks or water, and then you go and look for a table. It’s not your typical sit down and get served by wait staff. And in the dining room they have offer free dessert for dine in customers only. Peach, cobbler, banana pudding, and soft serve vanilla ice cream. Who doesn’t love free dessert? Their food is well seasoned and delicious. Brisket, ribs, sausage with cheese and jalapeños were all amazing. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were good too. Even the fried okra was really good! I’m not an okra fan but I liked it. I would go back… in hindsight, I ever go to by weight place again I’m gonna ask for a little piece of everything that way I can taste everything without spending a fortune or getting over full. And I wonder if they would do it for me. Anyways, it’s a fun place with good food. Good atmosphere. You’ll enjoy it. Just ask for the full fat brisket and that sausage was so amazing. I wanted to bring some home to my husband in Connecticut and it was that good

Wow...! I gotta say this is the BEST barbecue I've ever had...! When you think of Texas Barbecue, this is it! I'm jealous of the locals. If you're in the area, Hutchins BBQ is a must, you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to save room for the delicious desert 😋 All of it was delicious. Brisket, Ribs, Turkey, and Chicken

I think this is the best bbq I've personally had. Sliced right in front of you, weighed, and piled onto a butcher paper tray. The brisket is melt-in-your mouth. I loved the Texas twinkie. The sides were great. I especially loved the complimentary peach cobbler and banana pudding. I wish I lived near this place so I could visit more frequently.

Fantastic place for a barbecue. There is always a queue however the end product is so succulent that it’s worth the wait. They have a multitude of options and I generally go by quarter pounds so that I can rule them all and they don’t cease to amaze. In the sides, definitely try broccoli salad.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Loved the Texas Twinkie - jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and beef, wrapped in bacon. Not much variety or flavor for sauces but I guess that makes you have to appreciate the smoked meats more. Bark on brisket could be a little crispier and meat a little less soupy. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience.
