Barbeque
in
Frisco,
Texas,
a
suburb
just
north
of
Dallas.
It
was
a
Wednesday
evening
around
7
PM
and
I
have
to
say
I
was
surprised
at
the
number
of
cars
in
the
parking
lot,
but
it’s
a
good
sign.
That
means
people
love
this
place.
As
I
walk
in
and
have
the
option
to
order
takeout
or
dine
in.
The
dine
in
section
is
set
up,
kind
of
like
a
cafeteria
style.
You
get
a
tray
and
you
order
your
meat
by
weight
and
pick
out
your
sides
as
you
slide
your
tray
down
the
counter.
For
sides
you
get
these
little
baskets
and
fill
them
up
to
your
hearts
content.
Then
there
are
toppings
and
sliced
bread
and
butter
that
are
free.
At
the
end,
you
pay
for
everything
including
drinks
or
water,
and
then
you
go
and
look
for
a
table.
It’s
not
your
typical
sit
down
and
get
served
by
wait
staff.
And
in
the
dining
room
they
have
offer
free
dessert
for
dine
in
customers
only.
Peach,
cobbler,
banana
pudding,
and
soft
serve
vanilla
ice
cream.
Who
doesn’t
love
free
dessert?
Their
food
is
well
seasoned
and
delicious.
Brisket,
ribs,
sausage
with
cheese
and
jalapeños
were
all
amazing.
The
mashed
potatoes
and
Mac
and
cheese
were
good
too.
Even
the
fried
okra
was
really
good!
I’m
not
an
okra
fan
but
I
liked
it.
I
would
go
back…
in
hindsight,
I
ever
go
to
by
weight
place
again
I’m
gonna
ask
for
a
little
piece
of
everything
that
way
I
can
taste
everything
without
spending
a
fortune
or
getting
over
full.
And
I
wonder
if
they
would
do
it
for
me.
Anyways,
it’s
a
fun
place
with
good
food.
Good
atmosphere.
You’ll
enjoy
it.
Just
ask
for
the
full
fat
brisket
and
that
sausage
was
so
amazing.
I
wanted
to
bring
some
home
to
my
husband
in
Connecticut
and
it
was
that
good
