Doctors and nurses were good. The balance billing practices by an in-network provider, inaccurate descriptions of why my credit card was charged, inaccurate explanations about what my insurance says I need to pay, and the tone of the front staff when any concern was brought to their attention were not. In my experience, the front staff had this attitude that they are right no matter what and I've decided its not worth the hassle. Providers are a dime a dozen in this area, time to switch to one with a more organized and accountable front office staff. Wow, did this office just violate HIPAA Privacy Rules in their reply?!? This will be reported to HHS.

Not a pleasant experience for my three year old and I. We were forgotten about for 30 minutes while they thought the skin test was administered, yet it hadn’t been. The PA came to check the progress and was surprised to see we hadn’t started while she thought it was prepped. My son was extremely patient in the room waiting, following instructions and we were the last ones to leave after closing with most of the staff. His provider didn’t have a comforting or patient manner with a toddler a mother would hope to expect. Offered a prize at the beginning for his tolerance, and then denied at the end despite doing everything asked of him. Left frustrated and disappointed after a 2 hour visit altogether. The front desk staff was very courteous at least.

The front office staff and the allergist who assisted me, Dr. Long, were so friendly and kind! Jill and the rest of the front office staff made paperwork quick and painless, and Dr. Long listened to my concerns and health history to help me develop a treatment plan. She explained everything thoroughly. They managed to squeeze me in at the last minute for my appointment after a tough few months of skin related issues. I am so grateful for their hospitality and for helping me get on the road to recovery! I highly recommend this office and its providers. They took excellent care of me!

My name is Gao Zhu, and I am very grateful to every member of the Allergy & Asthma Center of Texas, from the front desk to the injection room, to the staff who took my blood pressure and temperature, to the doctor who treated me (although I don’t know Name, the female doctor in their advertisement picture), friendly attitude, sincere care for patients, and especially amazing professional medical technology, basically made me recover from the skin allergies that had been bothering me for almost two years! Thumbs up for their excellent technology and excellent service! Highly recommended!

In one single visit Rebecca has changed my life. I am truly grateful to finally have a treatment plan to get my allergies under control. I am already feeling a million times better and my only wish is that I made the appointment sooner. All the girls at the front are incredibly sweet and kind. I had the best experience with the entire team and would highly recommend them. Thank you so much to everyone at Allergy and Asthma Center of Texas for taking such good care of me.

I had an excellent experience here. Front desk staff was warm and friendly. The medical assistants were professional and thorough and the doctor was gracious and an excellent listener. She provided excellent feedback, support, and a treatment plan. I highly recommend this establisment.

We have been going to Allergy and Asthma Center of Texas for 2-3 years. This year, we had to change insurance companies and I planned to find another provider for our allergy visits. However, at our visit today, Kisha Long was so kind, honest, and professional that I decided we should stay-despite our insurance not being in network. Just like previous appointments, she took the time to make sure all my questions were answered, asked how my family was doing, and treated me like a friend as well as a patient.

Always a wonderful atmosphere filled with bright, shining smiles! My three sons never complain while we’re here, and they always ask to see Kennedy because of how friendly she is.
