My chicken Biryani was served Luke warm. My husbands was prawn and not what he had ordered .the waiter was very apologetic. A tiny portion of sauce between 2 people .the carafe of water was not chilled .

Finally! A proper Indian restaurant in the area! The Taj Mahal in Pons serves up a full menu of traditional Indian dishes for dine-in and takeaway. They offer à la carte dishes or a variety of menus, including a 3-course luncheon menu for just 4€50, including starter, main, and dessert, as well as rice and a naan. The food is tasty and spicy - our party of 7 English speakers laughed with the waiter about "French spicy" or "English spicy" so you can request more spice. My lamb karahi (Chef's special) was served in a delicious sauce, full of flavour. Everyone will be delighted to return again and again to try the other dishes on the menu. So here's a big welcome to Taj Mahal Pons!

Excellent food, had tasty lamb samosas, and tried the chef's special chicken, which was very tasty and had some lovely fresh ginger. The naan was freshly baked & lovely too. Thank you very well recommended.
