Chez Robineau

We had a great time at Chez Robineau, in a beautifully restored, but very practical old farmhouse, set in lovely countryside. The pool was great, even relatively early in the season. It's only a couple of miles from the town of Civray, which has all the essentials, food, wine, beer, croissants, etc. There are plenty of local restaurants with good food at very reasonable prices. Typically the restaurant and shop staff speak some English, but it's always worth making the effort to try to speak French when you can. We would be very happy to return to Chez Robineau.
