I liked the place a lot. It was small and cozy resort with beautiful beach and view. We stayed in appartment with amazing sea view, nice terrace so you can enjoy excellent wine and magnificent view. There are lots of apartments that you can rent there and prices are really acceptable. The street with restaurants are really nice as well. Different cuisine and really great local wines. You may find there even traditional Brazil restaurant. However we decided to try only local dishes and wines which was best choice in my opinion. Local people are very friendly and helpful. The main problem is that they don't speak English at all. All the time we managed to understand each other with gestures and Google translator. Be prepared for this, actually it was not only in Fuengirola but it all Andalucia. Only in Seville we found tapas bars where someone of the staff is speaking English. The beach there is amazing, nice sand and really wide. I can't imagine this beach crowded. You can always have your privacy there. You can see it in my pictures as well. The water was cold for me but crystal clear. Really blue and crystal. The beach alley is also nice for cycling or jogging. A lot of people do it in the morning there. This place worths to be visited.

Great resort castle is great to visit very cheap on train from malaga airport next door to train station £5 return

Paseo marítimo de fuengirola is a Very good place to walk and run next to the beach… also good cafes, bars, restaurants and chiringuitos… very great beaches… so all things to enjoy in ine place❤️

Lovely broadwalk with lots of eateries nearby. Parking can be a nightmare at busy times: mostly paid for parking as well

Cornish Pasties on the Costa del sol and Devon cream teas not far away in taste and texture nice relaxing eat toilets spotless well done I would return

Beach is very clean, most places are open but it is very quiet for the time of year, only annoying thing is you have to wear your mask even outside walking along the seafront, it's ludicrous
