(Translated by Google) Mezza who came with us couple, son couple and grandchildren. The family is very satisfied before reaching Moominvalley Park. It was a wonderful space of forest and artificial lake. From the beginning, I was greeted by colorful umbrellas that looked like Instagram and took a walk through the forest path. I feel better and the best extraordinary things are so close. I hope everyone goes.

A gigantic rip off and waste of time. It’s not even worth half the entry price. This place should be free to enter. Almost everything inside the park is an additional cost, and we’re not talking a few hundred yen. We spent maybe 2 hours total at the park, and that’s because we were really trying to drag our time out to somehow get our money’s worth. There was a kids play area that my son enjoyed, but there are countless free parks that have much better play equipment. This boring park feels like nothing more than a shameless money grab.

My husband is Finnish—he approves of the salmon soup, rice porridge and glogi being sold inside this park. This park is very generous, in my opinion. As long as you spend ¥5000 in the stores within the park, you get free parking on the weekends. Also if you buy something BEFORE getting the entrance ticket—you will only have to pay ¥2700/person instead of ¥3200.

I loved visiting the Moominvalley park. Felt very authentic and it was beautiful. The shows were very Japanese, but we don’t complain - we’re in Japan after all. Souvenirs are a must, and the shop beside the restaurant had everything you could imagine. The mugs and plushies were a bit expensive, but I ended up buying the two limited edition moominvalley Arabia mugs, 4400 yen a piece.

Had a fun afternoon in the park. Entered at around 3:15pm, there is a character show at 3:30pm. Pop corn container is the model of the Moomin house. If you are a big fan, you don't want to miss going into The house (extra fee can be purchased ahead or walk in if still have space) A staff walk us through the entire house and interact with the group with questions and story about Moomin house. I don't speak Japanese but I use the conversation function on Google translate and get 98% of the story the staff told. It is fun. Snufkin walks around the village with his lantern to the lighthouse in the evening. There are many souvenir shops with different theme but same stuffs. Also, paper bags from each store are different. Sort of a collection too for a true fan.

A spacious park, not to expect exciting attractions there. Most of the attractions are charged, zipline, moomin home tour, theatre show, cost 1000-2000 each. You have to buy ticket before, when we arrived, tickets of moomin home tour are sold out, it was really disappointing.

It’s definitely not a “Disney” it’s a lovely outdoors place that has activites for children and targeted towards a family audience. It’s worth a visit especially when going onto the Leview Train from sunshine city area Ikebukuro. Scandinavian themed with Nordic shops . There’s a lake where you can zip line across. Different activities have different prices ranging from 1000¥ to 2800¥. Bring cash 💴.

The park was nice, but the service at this restaurant, today, was TERRIBLE! Today at 12:45 we were kept waiting, standing, for about 30 minutes while the restarant was half-empty. Meanwhile the oba-san hostess kept allowing other people in!….we gathered that it was tour group people with a reservation but…the 4 of us were not allowed to make a reservation…finally the oba-san hostess led us to a table-next to the restrooms!…even though there other available tables, we were not allowed to sot there! This is very bad customer service!

Nice selection of Scandinavian products. Even though I have stayed in Denmark for 3 years. This place still made me fresh. Nice lake view too. Go to the hot spring next to here. You won’t regret it.

Very fun that they have made this park far away from Finland. It was very few people here when we were here, so we were able to get around easily, and get lots of pictures. Remember to buy the moominvalley cup from Arabia! Since it is only sold here! The trip here was long, and at some point I wondered if I were able to grt back to Tokyo...

It's been a long time since I've visited the Finnish Moomin Park, but still this left me waiting for more. Every major attraction (minus the Tove walk on the 3F structure) was for an extra fee. No explanation on what the thing includes (fex. I have no idea what Little My or Oshun Oxtra was about - Moomin house tour is kinda selfexplaining). Also every attraction had a ticket machine (Japan loves their machine! 😂). Also if you wish to ride the Hobgoblin zipline, just run and find the machine the moment you get In and buy a ticket. We were there from 10:00 to 13:00 and walked to the zipline machine around 12:00.. Already sold out up till 16:00. So no zipline for me (kinda bummer). No 'actors' in the early hours. Saw Snuffkin closer to midday when the Park started to atract more visitors. Park mug (Arabia) was yet again out of stock and couldn't get the Yamaka Little My (2102-22) either. But that seems to be a thing as there wasn't any in Tokio or Osaka shops either. Staff is super friendly and courteous, even though not that well versed In English language. And no replies to queries via FB or Instagram if using English. The Park was still wery well made and even with grievances I personally had, I would recommend visiting it if you're In Hanno or Tokio.

Overall: -Peaceful park -Feels like we’re living in a moomin world Food: -At the entrance there is a delicious pancake shop -at the centre of the park, there is a 3 floors building: food court on the 1st floor and a cafe on the 3rd floor. Things to do: -in the 3 floors building there is also an exhibition about the history of moomin and there is one of the biggest stories -remember to get tickets to attractions early especially moomin’s house as it is sold out fast. Tickets are at 15mins interval. It is important to know Japanese as the attractions guide speaks in Japanese and involves the audience to participate by answering questions Tickets -Admission to the park and attractions are separate tickets (individual attraction tickets can be purchased in the park in front of individual attractions) Characters only come out for show at 6.30pm but sometimes random characters may come out for a while to take pictures with visitors If you have planned a trip, can purchase tickets from online and enter with a QR code on your phone which is much faster

The theming was beautiful, I especially loved the Little My Shop(she’s my favorite)! The character actors made sure to make it a memorable experience for everyone, not just children and fluent Japanese speakers. The food was slightly up-charged due to it being a theme park but it was not expensive, it was also delicious. Oh! I also got engaged here…so yes, this will by far be one of my most treasured spots!

(Translated by Google) In the zone in front of Lake Miyazawa in front of Moominvalley Park, the first floor is mainly for groceries (many of Saitama's specialties), and the second floor is a general store in Finland. When you enter the store on the 2nd floor, it has a fashionable atmosphere, which is irresistible for people who like miscellaneous goods. It's an item that has nothing to do with Moomin, but the design and colors are full of foreignness, and it's entertaining just by looking at it. There are several shops on the 1st floor, and you can eat slowly in front of the lake, which is quite nice. It also supports cashless payments and can be used conveniently.

The trip to Moominvalley Park was supposed to be the highlight of our trip but I was quite disappointed. Maybe it's because I had expected a theme park, not a large park with some Moomin structures, restaurants and shops. It was also raining when we went, thus dampening everyone's mood. The transport that we booked left the bus of us visitors at a huge carpark. We all looked at each other in shock as there wasn't the usual theme park entrance. Thankfully, someone in the group could speak Japanese and asked the staff at the carpark. We then knew that we had to take a stroll into a park. I think there can be signages to better guide visitors, esp. tourists.

You will need a whole day to spend if you want to walk all around the park. Staffs didn't speak English, so it's quite hard for us to understand the show and tour. Anyway, the atmosphere was wonderful and we enjoyed it so much. Also, I recommend you to buy blueberries jam in the souvenir shop as a Omiyage.

Nice place to spend a day outside Tokyo. Calm and some activities for kids to play and adventure. Boat ride and zip liner are good for adults to do. You can enjoy the park if you are crazy about moomins. Otherwise you can spend the time outdoor without entering the park.

Really nice area, very peaceful and away from the major city. Visited on a weekday so it was not too crowded. Lots of smaller buildings outside the main Moomin Park area with food, drinks, and souvenirs available. Inside Moomin Park was great for people who like the books and characters.

A nice place to come if you're a moomin fan. You can walk 20+mins or take a bus from Hanno station. There are several walks you can do in the surrounding forest too.

If you're looking for a relaxing small theme park, come here. The drive from Fussa city was about 30 minutes. There are restaurants before you enter the park, but you also can enjoy the area for a picnic or just walking. It is vast that goes around a lake and even rides a paddleboat. It was a lovely weekend, and if you like Moomin characters, you can buy some stuff.
