The building is a little bit old but the inside is clean. 5 minutes walk from the Kumagaya station. The breakfast is OK. Good value for money. The hotel staff are kind and helpful. A good option for business people.

The reception staff were lovely and checked us in quickly. Amenities were available such as combs and razors. The room was large enough for our snowboard bag, hiking bag, and the 2 of us. The bathroom was larger than other places we had stayed. The location was great and the walk to the train station was an easy 10min stroll. Lots of pedestrian crossings making it easy to cart our luggage around. The area felt safe and quiet.

I had lunch at the Chinese restaurant, Marroad Inn on Feb.23, 2024. We chose the lunch set of the day. Rice, salad, pork sauté, chicken, curry soup, pickles, fruit, and a cup of tea. They served a cup of jasmine tea as a welcome drink. The price was ¥1,600. We were full. The waiters and waitresses were polite and helpful. When we went home, my friend lost her key. We looked everywhere but we couldn’t find it. We called the hotel and left our contact number. They found the key in the parking lot. Thank you for their help and kindness. Thank you for the person who found it.
