According to the document, Minamoto no Yoshishige (Yoshishige Nitta) got a job as a landowner and redeveloped a part of Nitta District that had been devastated by the eruption of Mt. Asama in 1108. ), he was reappointed to the position of Geshi for his contribution of donating the 19 villages he had developed to Kongoshin-in. According to a popular theory, this year is the year when Nitta-sho was established. Furthermore, the ryoke was Fujiwara Tadayasa. After that, Nitta-sho expanded to almost the entire area of Nitta District, but in the first year of Tennin (1224) of the Kamakura period, there was a dispute between the head family of the Nitta clan and the three affiliated clans, the Serada clan and the Iwamatsu clan. divided and ruled. During the era of Masayoshi Nitta, the head family of the Nitta clan had most of Nitta Manor confiscated by the shogunate and was divided into clans such as the Iwamatsu clan and the Serada clan, leaving only the territory that the head family had newly cultivated. Although the head family later regained its status as soryo, it fell to a small lord within Nitta-sho. During the era of Yoshisada Nitta, it became the core of the Southern Court's army, and the Nitta clan followed suit, but it fell with the defeat of the Southern Court, and the Iwamatsu clan, which descended to the Northern Court, assumed the position of de facto head family and ruled Nitta Manor. However, in the Sengoku period, the Iwamatsu clan lost its true status as a manor when it was replaced by its vassal, the Yura clan, and eventually the Yura clan was involved in the Toyotomi government's Odawara role and lost its territory, and the Nittasho was also dismantled. was forced to. In the Edo period, it continued to prosper as the birthplace of the Tokugawa clan under the patronage of the Shogunate. It says. The Nitta-sho Historical Museum is located within the Ota City Historical Park (Nitden-so Ruins), where Serada Toshogu Shrine is located.

Since it is located in Serada, which is called Nitta-so, the center of the exhibition will be about Mr. Nitta. You can learn about the history of Nitta Yoshisada, who overthrew the Kamakura shogunate during the Nanbokucho turmoil, as well as valuable materials and cultural assets. Also, since Tokugawa Ieyasu said that his ancestors were from the Nitta clan, Serada was revered as the land of his ancestors, and you can learn about its history of thriving throughout the Edo period. Although it is a paid facility, I think it is a very good facility because you can see valuable cultural properties.

Not only is this the birthplace of the Tokugawa clan, but it is also home to the ruins of Nittamano. Lord Yoshisada Nitta greets you as if to ask you to put down your sword. The entrance fee is 200 yen, and the history of Ota City, ancient tombs, and clay clay figures are on display. Parking is free in the large historical park parking lot.

Group discount available for 200 general customers Next to Serada Toshogu Shrine, there is a bronze statue of Yoshisada Nitta in front. It was a great success with families, probably because the holder making class was held on Sunday. There was a video explaining the establishment of Nitta-so, clay clay from the ancient tomb, various excavated artifacts, and the activities of Yoshisada Nitta, as well as explanations of nearby historical sites, so we walked to the graves of Mr. and Mrs. Yoshishige Nitta, so hurry up. There is a large parking lot, which is fine if you have a car, but it's a 25-minute walk from Serada Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line. It was a little far away, and the only exhibits available were armor.

Visited on Culture Day. I was holding an exhibition of hanging scrolls kept at Chorakuji Temple. The hanging scroll itself was a work of unknown authorship. The permanent exhibition features materials related to the Nitta clan and items related to the Taiheiki. It has the feel of a local museum. You can see all the exhibits in the museum within 30 minutes. Even though it was a public holiday, there was no one inside the building, so it was reserved for private use. There were more staff members than visitors. I'm worried about whether it's okay to run the facility, but it's municipally run, so I guess it's fine. I took temperature checks and filled out contact information as a preventive measure against the coronavirus, but there were so few people there that there was no way I could get infected.

The history museum of Nittaso, famous as the birthplace of the Tokugawa clan! Admission fee is 200 yen for adults, and there are various exhibits as a museum that explains the history of the area centered on Nitta-so, which is located in the historical park adjacent to Chorakuji Temple (*´艸`) It's not a huge museum, but it's fun to walk around slowly while looking at historical materials!

Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. This is the hometown of Yoshisada Nitta, who invaded and destroyed the Kamakura Shogunate. In less than a month, they attacked from southern Gunma Prefecture to Kamakura. This area is a rural area as far as the eye can see, indicating that it was once a prosperous place.

If you are interested in history, you should probably pay an admission fee to enter the museum, but since my goal was to get the No. 1 Gunma Meguri stamp from a project related to the NHK Taiga drama ``What's Wrong with Ieyasu,'' I stamped it without paying the admission fee. You can watch videos for free in a space with benches, and I was able to study enough just there (^^♪ Ota City is home to the Nitta Manor Ruins, a nationally designated historic site consisting of 11 temples, ruins, and water villages related to the Nitta clan's manor, Nitta Manor. Various historical materials of Ota City, including important cultural properties such as Choraku-ji Temple and Tosho-gu Shrine, as well as Nittasho Castle, are displayed in one place. Materials related to the Taiheiki, a historical drama broadcast in 1991, are also on display.

I headed here after visiting Ishina Shrine. Here too, Lord Yoshisada greeted us with the promised pose. The history museum had exhibits related to the life of Lord Yoshisada, as well as clay figurines excavated from the vicinity of Nitta-so. The lawn garden in front of the museum was also spacious. Next door was a Toshogu shrine called Serada Toshogu Shrine, which was dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. I did some research and found that it was built in 1644 by order of the third shogun Iemitsu, by moving the main building of Nikko Toshogu Shrine. If you think about it, this is the historic Toshogu Shrine.

When I visited Serada Toshogu Shrine and was walking around the grounds, I saw a magnificent building to the left of the shrine and stopped by. The Chorakuji Exhibition was being held at the historical museum, and it said it would run from October 16th to December 11th, so I took the opportunity to come and see it. Admission fee is 200 yen. At the entrance, you will have your body temperature checked before entering the exhibition room. As soon as I entered, I saw a row of wooden seated statues, and for some reason I felt nervous. In addition, the original and restored copies of the Thirty-six Immortals are on display. I was able to see things that I don't often get to see.

(Translated by Google) Occasionally, you exhibit cat paintings, but it seemed to me that there are many counterfeit works produced in recent years. When it is exhibited, I would like you to write down the history of how the historical materials were collected.
