荒川わくわくランド(ウォーターアスレチック）目当てに訪れました。９時15分頃駐車場に着きましたが既に入場券を求める長蛇の行列。
コロナ対策の為利用人数を減らしているので、買えたのは３回目の11:50スタートのチケット。アドベンチャーシアターを見るとしたら12時の回でした。
本館に入るのも人数制限していて外で30分くらい待ちました。一応テントもありますが、暑い中待つのは結構キツかったです。本館では荒川についての歴史や洪水対策など知ることができて勉強になります。涼しいのでここで体力回復できました。
直径24.2mの大水車は迫力ありました。水車の仕組みも分かって興味深かったです。
わくわくランドは手漕ぎボートやアスレチックなど幼稚園と小学生が楽しく遊べました。高学年は物足りないかもしれません。水着で来てる子もいましたが濡れるアスレチックは一つだけなので濡れないように遊ぶこともできます。
13時前に帰る頃には駐車場に入る車の行列ができていました。夏休み期間は朝一に行くのがおすすめだと思います。
