Food: EVERY DISH IS AMAZING!!!! If you're looking for Authentic Mexican food that isn't "washed down", Farolito in Fullerton and Placentia is the place to eat! Their Carnitas Red Enchiladas, Carne Asada Tacos, Taco Salad, Mexican Coffee, Burritos, Nachos, Salsa, Margaritas, Flautas, Rice, Bean and pretty much every item is a great choice! Service: The staff is always welcoming and friendly every time I go. During peak hours, my food is served fast and accurate. Customers Service is a cornerstone here. Final thought: Farolitos is Family owned and they take pride in their food and service. Farolitos offers authentic Mexican food at a low price point. I can't stay away from this place!

I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The atmosphere is great for dining the flavor of the food is wonderful too. Mexican platters don't usually have a lot of greens such a salads or things of that sort. So it is just the item you ordered and in this case a large burrito for lunch. This farolitos is quite busy during the Sunday lunch hour. Parking on Sundays is very convenient in the nearby multi-level parking structure which is a short walking distance. Update April 2023. Felt the salsa with the chips was a bit too hot for the general public, although it may be ideal for the Latino pallet.

PURE GEM! This is my favorite spot. Even though it’s the “Jr” location - I prefer this location. The green sauce here is my favorite in the whole world. It’s always very clean in here. Staff is always friendly, quick and helpful. I have been cooking here for years. You guys carry my favorite asada around. Divorce style is freaking amazing - 1/2 red 1/2 green. & the el diablito mango frozen margarita is my favorite drink. You’re asada, green and red sauce and el diablito margarita cannot be beat! I love you guys!!!!!

A group of us life long friends spend just about every Tuesday here. It's always a pleasure going. In typical bar style fashion, the servers and bartender remember who you are and ask how things are going. Love that about this place. The food is good but really the service and atmosphere is why we keep going back. They have a great Taco Tuesday special. Price increased by $1.25 but it's worth it. Great place to meet friend and get a good taco.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Farolito, and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but the staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that we were well-taken care of throughout our meal. I started my meal with the Diabalito, a mango margarita that is served blended with a mini premium tequila bottle and garnished with a Tajin powdered rim. It was the perfect way to start my meal, refreshing and flavorful. For my main course, I ordered the carnitas burrito, which was served wet. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, and the burrito was generously filled with all the fixings. It was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The portions at Farolito are generous, so I had plenty of leftovers to take home. I was also impressed with the prices, which are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I had a great experience at Farolito of Fullerton. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I highly recommend checking out this Fullerton staple if you're looking for a great Mexican meal.

This little spot is on Harbor Blvd. in Downtown Fullerton, it's really clean, casual, with a friendly staff, and a great menu. It's the perfect little hole in the wall for a hot bowl of Menudo after a hard night of partying or gut busting plate of carnitas to start your Saturday off on the right!

My husband and I were really looking forward to enjoying our dinner tonight. Usually we drive to Farolito in Placencia, we have a couple of Margaritas and always a great meal. This wasn't the case tonight. We wait a long while for any one to come to our table, all she ask was for our order. Never did she offer us a cocktail or did she ever come back to our table. Someone else brought out our food, when done we asked for our check. NEVER to return again. So 😞 disappoint.

Pretty good. Pork carnitas plate was great, I feel the pork could have had more seasoning but the pork its self was a great dish. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Best I can say is that the food was OK for the price, but you get better quality at just about any fast food style taco shop for about the same or a little less. Service was decent. Don't think I'll be back.

Came in half hour before closing and the door was locked. I made eye contact with the people and they just ignored. As someone was walking out another person walked in and was told by staff that they were closed. Also entrance is difficult to locate. Definitely not friendly service at all.

I don't think we will ever order from this restaurant again. Our food was cold. Tortillas were under cooked. Very little chicken on the tacos and no salsa was provided. The worst part was when I called the store, Gio who answered never offered an apology nor offered to fix the order. Definitely not recommending this restaurant.

Went out with colleagues to a local Mexican food joint. Good service and excellent food. I opted for the shrimp dinner which was not bad at all. Also enjoyed their chips and salsa!

Used to really love this place, but now the service is terrible. Trying to get our waiters attention, even when the restaurant was not crowded, was difficult. Had to ask multiple times for another salsa, chips and I actually got up and got my own extra plates. Food is really good and margaritas are OK, but they consistently apply way too much salt, even when we asked for very light salt. Been going here for years, but probably my last time.

What happened?? This was one of my top mex food restaurants in Fullerton pre-pamdemic. Total time to order and get food 1 hour 25 minutes and it wasn't even busy. The food was less than before and the customer service was not there. I really use to like this place.

The food was outstanding and delicious. However, the restaurant was very loud and uncomfortable. Service was slow due to full house. Homeless people were loud and obnoxious.

I started going to the original El Farolito in Placentia starting over 30 years ago. This new location is great! The food tastes the same, with shorter wait times, and great service. Love going here for a nice weekend lunch.

The food is good. The atmosphere is upbeat. The service on June 27 was unusually poor, slow, and chaotic. It could have been a case of someone calling out so they were short-staffed. I've been to this place so many times and the service has always been great. But this Taco Tuesday was not the business. Overall Farolito's is a great place to have a great meal, a refreshing cocktail and cold beers. I definitely will be back.

The food never disappoints, and their drinks are always on point.

Tried both their Asada and their Pastor taco Tuesday deals (24oz draft and 3 tacos)Sorry I ate one before I took a picture- I was hungry. And they were both good. Although they offer fewer types of tacos than Matador , the patron attention is better. I recommend their taco Tuesday. UPDATE: The people that attend continue to be friendlier. This go round I struck up a conversation about the Carnitas served here and some other establiments and some of their better offerings.

Great experience. Quiet because it was a weekday afternoon and then it started to fill up. They have great customer service and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable and we had food to take home. Definitely some where to go to again and again.

This has been our Taco Tuesday spot for years! Chips and salsa are very good, the salsa has good spice to it. Street tacos are tasty too, careful with their green jalapeno sauce, it can be very spicy! All the servers are very kind, and attentive.

The food was perfect diner food and our service was top notch. I can't wait to go in there in a cold day and have an entire bowl of that chili. I'm delighted I found this place and will certainly be back!
