Food is fine but overall not the best location. the host was a bit rude and even though we received the text message as we were standing there we still had to go the back of the line to wait to get seated. The text states you have to check in within 5 minutes and the line took 10. So that was odd. It’s a busy place sure, but i’ve been to smaller, busier locations, with faster and better service, that made the waits worth it. I would have been willing to excuse a lot of the poor service but we couldn’t even get water refills and had to ask three times before being told they were out of cups. Fine, totally understandable I guess but that should have been communicated before I had to ask three times. Personally, I did enjoy the portion sizes, they were just right to be able to sample more meats and not over eat but at the end of the day it’s not worth it for the price. There are just better places out there.

Wonderful place. I'm a tourist that have never been to a Korean BBQ before. Service was amazing and friendly. I'd love to return in the future.

Amazing! I’m from Texas and the Gen we have there is nothing compared to here. I had a soju pouch that was delicious, the bugolgi was to die for, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The wait was not long, and the services was great. Donald (or Ronald I apologize) was so sweet

All you can eat. Kind of bigger than average and fairly chonky portions. The Gen premium chadol was stand out flavour-wise. Super basic, and maybe somewhat unconventional banchan offerings, but what there was, satiating. Pretty satisfied! March 2022

Place is a dump! First time eating at this location. We walked in to a broken boarded up front door we put our name down and waited, as we waited we started to look around and noticed that this place was a mess. The front lobby had not been swept in who knows how long. Next to the mangers station was a pile of wet rags that had been used to clean up a spill and had hardened. While we waited I decided to use the restroom which was a disaster. Walking to the restroom was like a slip and slide the floor was dry but greasy. I noticed there was no adults working everyone there was young and had the not my job mentality. When we got seated all of the plates were chipped and broken, we had the server spill a drink on one of us, when our food came they brought everything at once we had no room on the table. There was a tray next to our table full of discarded dishes but they wouldn't take them to make room, getting refills was like bothering them. Needless to say the owner of this location needs to have better control of its staff and cleaning. Turning on the lights every now and then would hurt either.

NO menus, and they will only take one credit card per table. EVERY point of sale system is capable of splitting checks. Even bad restaurants can do that. I'll never recommend this place again. Our server was great. But, they've decided the Pandemic is a great reason to get super cheap and make the customer do everything. They can't afford paper for their printer, or to pay someone to wipe down the laminated menus. So you'll have to review everything on your phone. Maybe next they'll have you bus your own tables too? At these prices you can afford to print some paper menus. Stop being lazy and do your job. We're paying for service. I guess you've forgotten that.

I was about to have a family get-together until I saw this. Around 4 to 5 people, staff from gen Korean bbq , taking their break or preparing to start (4pm) their shift - all the while drink beer, smoking 🚬 very heavily and being super unprofessional and near the trash bins ! One can deduct that such images just convey the notion that even if your your hands, smoke in their hair, clothes and the smell of garbage is on their shoes clothes and person... Not professional look! They should get a break room or just restrain

Delicious. Plenty of space inside. Cool, ventilated restaurant. They have a nice bar, modern seating and both tables and booths as well as tall tables. Plenty of big TVs for games and events. Good, fun music playing in the background. The food and portions were great. All the sides were fresh and plenty for 4 people. Our wait on a Wednesday night was about 20 minutes. Call ahead is available.

I'd go again but rarely. I definitely had to put some elbow grease into cooking the meat lol kinda gave me at home feeling so eh too much work. They say you don't need anything to make it not stick, but it definitely burns easy and food gets stuck to the grill quickly. They marinate the meat nicely and give you sides like veggies and rice.

I will not coming back to this location ever again. The manager Annie Park is so rude. We’re party of 8 & will not sit you until everyone is there. Only 1 person is running late and don’t even want to let you sit until he gets there so we decided to sit without him. When he gets there, Ask her if he can sit behind us and said that he can’t because the table is for 4 people. We were so crowded on our table with 1 stove & 6 adult & a boy. Couldn’t even eat as much. I always eat at Gen but never on this location again.

1st server was awesome, he took break and swxond server was not that attentive. Place is good but they need to upgrade the ventilation. As more people came the smoke got heavier and air stractor was not anought. Food is decent. Plates are broken and can cut your hand if not careful. Also, i was wearing regular sneakers and foor was very slippery like oil or grease was on it. I almost fell (this is just a lawsuit waiting to happen). Price is good for quility and amount of food consumed.

Some of the best all you can eat BBQ in the area! Wait times are relatively shorter compared to other spots we we're trying to dine to. And the food is simply delicious! There a beautiful atmosphere inside and the liveliness of the dining area and you hear various foods cooking on your table and others simply makes for a unique one of a kind experience. And on top of that it's incredibly affordable for a 2 hour eating limit. The servers are also incredibly generous and will provide you a comfortable experience especially if its your first time going to one of these like me! Will definitely come back to this place again!

Food is what you expect, Services great they're on top of it,drinks,food,sides. Atmosphere is dark needs a little more liveliness or color be careful. The floors are super greasy. The store needs to close down and scrub down the floors and the vents so it won't be so smoking in there but overall that's okay.

Food was really good as expected and waiters were timely and friendly! Overall great experience with my loved one and the family!

Excellent service for AYCE BBQ but the place has a club vibe. We come on for dinner at 6. It's very crowded and it's best if you waitlist on Yelp. Place is dark and looks like a seedy club but the service makes up for it. The meat is ok quality, good portion and cut Overall, recommend if you want a generic AYCE BBQ experience and don't mind the atmosphere.

The hostess did not demonstrate any attributes of a true hostess—not pleasant, warm or welcoming (did not smile). She spoke quickly, commanding and robotic as she explained and ordered us to stand in a certain place. A member of our party asked her to repeat her speech and slow down. She should not be in a hostess position because she lacks politeness and people skills. Our waiter/server was very friendly, polite and smiled. The food was very good! At times, he was slow bringing food out to table. We were there to celebrate a birthday. Their servers definitely have a great, memorable and unforgettable birthday act!!! 🤣 About the entrance area/lobby, there are several rude and strange signs posted like “warning” signs. There is plenty of seating room in their lobby; however, the signs say none of their guests are allowed to sit in that area? The signs have other warning messages. Very strange to be greeted by weird signs like that in an entrance area especially from a company in the hospitality industry. Wish I would have taken pictures of strange signs…

I’ve been to 2 different locations now. I was satisfied with the quality of the meat and sides that came out. Everything seemed nice and fresh. Our server was wonderful and came to check up on us many times throughout our dining time. The quantity is moderate per each dish you order however that is helpful in managing waste. Since this is an all you can eat you can always order more if the first portion wasn’t enough. Grill changes were frequent to keep our cooking experience nice as well. Lagunitas IPA Pitcher my first try was wonderful. Tarty and flavorful with a nice subtle punch kicking in after your first glass. A pitcher is good for 4 glasses and after 3 I had my dining partner finish the final glass. Wonderful experience overall.

First time at Gen Korean BBQ. I have to say the service was exceptional. I do have to say the food was just OK. It just wasn't for me. My family enjoyed it and the place was absolutely packed. The short rib was my favorite. The brisket and pork belly were ok. I know there is a lot of fans of Korean BBQ, just doesn't do it for me.

Little pricey but good food. Burner went out so was good 10+ mins before got back on. That was only issue.
