This is my 3rd and last review for 24 Fullerton, because of this location I will be looking for new membership elsewhere. I have made MULTIPLE attempts to bring issues up to management to no avail. Tonight, I saw BLACK MOLD in the steam room. That doses not happen overnight. That is caused by 1)lack of attention by management and 2) an absolute failure on cleaning staff. This gym is closest to me and open 24 but I honestly feel sick just thinking about being in your steam room. Absolutely disgusting. The worst part is I now have to find an alternative gym.

Awesome gym me and my family came from Salt Lake City Utah and were assisted and informed about the gym and its equipment in a very enthusiastic and complimentary attitude of Diego Morales. If we come back for a move or decide to make 24 hr. Fitness my personal gym, I will definitely join because of his attitude and personality. Love 24 hr. and Thank you.

Serious gym for serious people. Very motivating working out with people who are focused. More variety of barbells than my previous gym, Esporta. More weight benches, too. Spinning room too dark with florescent type lighting. Excellent spinning staff.

I came in to check it out and days later I upgraded, this gym has all new equipment and Olympic weights for those heavy lifters, sauna and steam room, towel service, huge basketball court and great workout room plus the cycling room is amazing. It's an all new gym so everything is extremely new and definitely worth an upgrade.

Gold's Gym it is, then. Never returning. Just moved to the area looking for a new gym home. Asked for a trial workout pass, had to show my lease agreement to prove local residence. After that was cleared, front desk guy told me I wasn't eligible for a trial pass at this Fullerton, CA gym because I purchased a $40 one-week pass in Houston, TX a couple months ago. Apparently any free or paid membership/trial within the last 5 years disqualifies a potential new member from trying another 24 gym anywhere else NATIONWIDE. As I walked out the guy said, "We can't offer passes between 8p to 8a anyway"-- so why did we just go through this whole process in the first place?

Pretty decent spot. Just need a crowd tracker. Not sure how accurate google is: Hot gym forsure by the chest machines and squat racks it’s hot af . no ac during busy hours 10-1. No wipes for cleaning equipment. Just water in a bottle with some paper towels. Always busy. Machines not maintained. Some are stuck. And def need to be lubed no cap

A year has passed. Some changes in staff. Mostly positive environment at this location. Wonderful place to work out, clean and modern machines, locker rooms and a warm refreshing pool in Fullerton. Renewal can be online or at location.

The facility and equipment is fine. The worst thing about the exercise area is that the turf area is too small and there’s always people doing workouts there so even if you wanted to use it to push/pull the sleds, you can’t because there’s little to know room to work. The biggest downfall of this gym is that there are too many people between 5-10pm. To start, it’s the worst 24 for parking in the area, there’s always a wait for the platforms, sometimes up to 20 minutes, and no less than 10 people in the sauna on most days. Trust me, I know that 5-10pm is prime time for gym hours but over the last 10 years I’ve gone to the 24’s in Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Brea, Anaheim (91 & Lemon) and Orange (The Village) and this one is by far the most crowded for parking, platforms, pool and sauna. Other than that everything is clean and employees are good, just too crowded.

Hello, I recently visited your club in Fullerton CA. I signed up for the 3 day pass, when I arrived I check in with the front desk. The man at the desk with black curly hair proceeded to tell me that he had to give me a tour of the club to earn the 3 days pass. I agreed, at the end of the tour he stated that the last step before I receive the pass is, he had to take my weight on a scale. I informed him I wasn’t aware that I would have to participate with getting my weight taken, and I felt highly uncomfortable with this. He stated that, “this was a must and no way around it.” I asked if I could speak to another person about this, he stated that he is the manager and his word is what stands in the club. The point is, requiring a person to get their weight taken prior to gaining access to a gym feels extremely body shaming. Going to the gym is intimidating enough, now people are threatening to not allow you to workout without you getting weighed. Wow, I really wanted to love 24 hour fitness but I left feeling embarrassed and ashamed. Shoutout to Johnathan the gym’s manager for accomplishing a very disappointing experience. Down below there’s at least 3 more reviews about the same person. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS MAN.

I've been to different locations of thos gym and this was my first experience at this particular location. I found it to be quite small compared to the other locations.! The floor space was a little to small compared to the others so there wasn't much space to do any floor exercises! Also some of the machines were not working properly so made it a little difficult to get a good workout done not to mention how some of the employees at the check in desk were not the friendliest. I had guest with me and eventhough they were registered on the computer they needed to provide their id's along with extra information wich made them feel uncomfortable!e for one older employee gave us a hard time.with checking in!! Wouldn't really recommend this location to go to. A great location to go with much room and friendlier service would be the walnut and Costa Mesa locations!

Moved back into the area, about 4 blocks away and was thinking about joining 24hr as my current gym, Chuze, is too far away now. On June 12th I got a 3day pass to check out the facility. I could have just easily walked in as the attendants that were there were busy handling alot of customer issues at the counter. Even though it was chaotic I decided to wait, and wait. I presented my 3day phone pass to a tall, overweight man with curly hair. He fixated on my ID and asked alot of unnecessary questions about why I was there being from out of town, etc.. I explained that I was relocating back to the neighborhood because my mom is elderly, etc.. (not that it's any of his business). He said ok but he would need to give me a tour first. I said that's fine whatever you need to do and that I'll probably join anyway. Then he walked off with my ID. Appeared he was looking for someone lol. Honestly from the moment I dealt with this character he was giving me the third degree. Beyond annoying not to mention offensive to be treated with a weird skepticism. Totally unnecessary. In my mind I was thinking, oh this guy needs to go. Get rid of him. I ended up tracking him down and took my ID back. Told him what he put me through was beyond ridiculous to get a 3day pass. This character was a real piece work. Honestly, if you're thinking about a gym, don't come here. Plenty of other gyms to sign up at.

On 4/19 I came here for my very day after getting my membership. I requested a tour since I didn’t know where most things were. I got a tour from a man working the front desk. He gave me a tour however at the end of the tour he made me feel very UNCOMFORTABLE in order to try to sell me on getting a trainer. At the end of the tour he took me to a scale and tried to get me on. When I refused he seemed upset and said “I use to be just like you! I was 120 pounds heavier” even though I denied wanting a trainer he kept pushing and pushing. I asked for a tour not for a trainer!!! Immediately canceling my membership and never looking back. It’s giving fatphobic

24 Hour Fitness locations are hit and miss. This one is definitely a hit. It's much cleaner and more organized than the others I've been to, and in general the atmosphere is conducive to focusing on exercise. It's especially nice that there are six olympic racks. It's busy during peak hours, but I have found that most patrons at this location are sensitive to this and will be courteous enough to finish using equipment quickly enough.

I’ve been coming here a while and my complaints are falling on deaf ears I’ve complained about the loud music blasted in the women’s locker rooms at 5am trashy rap and non working showers with no pressure and ac is clearly turned off in women’s locker room. Every time I try to find a manger there non existent. People without disabled placard, take up the disabled parking places in front of the gym. Filthy hot tubes filled with piles of dirt in it . I only swim at the gym . Found moss growing in the little holes around the pool . Every time I enter in my phone number at the front and scan my finger print the machine red flags me when I’m a member. I never bring my phone I since I’m a swimmer and that’s pointless . There are clearly some issues at the location that need to be addressed badly !

I think the gym layout is pretty great, everything is on one floor. The only downside is the employees. They don't seem to care much for anything and are super unhelpful.

I have national access so I hit up all the gyms in the area and I gotta say this place is great. Usually I hate hitting that 5pm rush but the manager on duty fixed my issue in a timely manner and still was personable with all the customers coming in. Place has always been clean during my visits and towel ans spray stocked. Even the cleaning lady took initiative to ask if I needed help even if she wasn't able to actually assist me. The manager that helped me out with a 14.99 mystery charge at exactly 450 was the mvp you can feel their energy reflect in the gym! 10/10

The staff could not explain the terms and conditions that are NON-EXISTENCE on their website. I am a soon to be california resident checking out the area and wanted to see if this gym was worth it. My issue was not having a state ID- and well that’s in progress. He could not explain why that was needed and the terms and conditions that follow it. Makes sense since the website says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about terms and conditions when applying for a three day pass. Not worth the free three days anyways.

Chris Manson was such an amazing help! My account had been accidentally canceled by a team member in another city and he made sure I was good to go! Thank you Chris!

I was able to start going here after renewing my membership and finding that gym levels are no longer restricted (24 only sells a Platinum level plan now, apparently). Which is nice since I can go to Super Sport locations now. The equipment here is def newer and the space larger when compared to the Whittier location I used to frequent since the gym levels are different. However, this location is always packed no matter if you come Sunday afternoon or mid-day on a weekday. Sometimes it’s impossible to get in on the cables cuz it’s like a zoo over there. Chest machines are limited too. So that’s a downside; traffic is high since this is right between the Brea, Whittier, and La Mirada locations (and the newest of all four). Overall a good spot but always crowded, which makes me seek out other locations in rotation.

The place is clean. Their equipment are obviously well-maintained and well-organized. The staff is friendly. Great place to work out!

Filthy facility every time I visit this location. Bloody sanitary pads left in shower and hair all over the locker room floor. There should be someone checking and cleaning the locker rooms at least every 30mins to make sure that it is sanitary. Rude unwelcoming lazy staff members.

Most recent visit was around 230am and the gym was pretty quiet, I was able to get my cardio in without an issue and there was practically no wait for weight machines.

Very disappointed, have been wanting to get back into working out so I decided to try a 3 day pass. Only time I can go is after work so I arrived at 10PM and try to check in but the women at the front desk says to me that they only allow the free pass before 8PM. No where does it say there is a time limit, and then she tells me to just sign up for a membership and you can go in…

Hello recently came to this gym for the first time, It was one of the cleaniest gyms l've been too in a while but not only that the staff was friendly and supportive shout out to JON B for making this experience a 5 star rating definitely will be my new home gym. Working in customer service isn’t easy as I also work in it but even while it being busy he still made sure everyone was helped in a timely manner.

Not a fan of this 24hr fitness. Just moved here over 2 months ago, and I'll be making the drive to my old 24 in Yorba Linda, Brea, or Anaheim Hills instead. The basketball gym is reserved on weekend mornings until 10am. Useless to people that have schedules they adhere to. You should advertise on the gym the TRUE hours people can come play. I even called ahead on Saturday night to verify the gym was open and was told, "Yes, open gym for everyone." Arranged the morning basketball crew to meet here and what a disappointment. What was the point of calling?
