I had my bike stolen right outside the gym. In their gym rack. The manager didn't seem to care that much. I was told it's been going on for a couple months, bikes getting stolen. Yet they won't put cameras and blame it on the plaza. They should at least put a warning sign. The gym is very nice it's always overcrowded and it takes too long to sign up. Too much paperwork. Some of the staff is friendly, the other half not so much.

I canceled PT but manager overcharged me $500, but ok with that cause they said they will provide $500 personal training when I start PT again. I canceled my account with receptionist few months ago, but had decline message from Gold Gym and they were NOT CANCELED my account and saying they can't cancel until I pay $120 overdue. yeah, GoldGym is theif and I just noticed this happen many times here. Good Luck with my $620, I will never go back and let my neighbors know how your business work!

Hello, we have a question. A month ago we closed our contract with Down Town LA by paying $100 in cash at the front desk in Fullerton . Then the next day the golds gym card charged us $100 again . So we paid twice. An employee of the gym Golds said that we are not telling the truth. The fact is, there was a problem because of one employee. My main question is: When do we have to pay? I have no interest in being lied to. I've already turned a blind eye to it. I remember we paid $100 in cash on September 18 at Fullerton. Maybe even earlier. I asked the staff to check it with the cameras. But all I got was a negative response. General Manager Ronnie Crannez said I was lying, even though he had instructed the girl at the front desk that day to accept the $100 cash payment from us at Fullerton. He then gave us a tour of the hall. We told him about it. And he refused to watch the cameras. He said we were lying. Also, Ronnie Crannez didn't give me the other general manager's email. Another employee gave it to me while Ronnie was talking to another customer. Although the other employee calmly gave us information about the other general manager. Ronnie also refused to give us the name of the girl we paid. He said he was protecting his employees that way. Although I would still see her and see her badge. Apparently, they have done this more than once and deceived customers this way. I don't know how I can go to your gym now. Because no one but Aaron could at least respond adequately. I can see why manager Ronnie Crannez refused to watch the cameras. I'll talk to my lawyer and we can work this out, probably through the courts. It's not a problem for me to pay $50. I wanted to be fair. We went to L.A., and we didn't have any problems.

So my annual fee came up. It’s $49.99 and I was charged twice. It’s been a month now that I’ve been waiting for them to repay me my $49.99. that did it for me. The place is clean. They got nice machines but it’s always heavily overcrowded. I’m no longer a gold gym member.

All their offers are scams. They charge hidden fee of $49 a year. They make it very difficult to cancel. You have to cancel 30 days before in a fine print. Haha. Thus, you end up paying the monthly fee with additional club fee and another year of hidden fee per year since it passed the 12 months mark. So crowded when it is a prime time because they just sign up people. Not a good gym. Ventilation is terrible. You have soar throats after workout. It is also getting very old and worn down as well. Management sucks.

Seems nice. Went in to talk to someone and was completely ignored. Even went so far as to take people who checked in after me when they clearly knew something was up. The person at the desk told the sales rep that they missed me completely and they didn't really seem to care. Skip this place. Go to la Mirada instead :)

Every single time I come around 8-9 am, 6-7 pm, or 12-2 pm, this gym is always too busy and way too crowded. I even went there during closing hours and it’s still busy. Not that I mind how busy it is.. but how small the gym actually is compared to other gyms. Weights are all over the place.. sweaty people… it’s honestly an OK gym with good service. That’s all.

location is great. Staff is good. Only issue is equipment. 90% of the members are local college kids who go here more for the social aspect than serious weight training. Not really fun waiting 10 minutes for the peck deck while a kid in pajama bottoms and crocs takes selfies between sets. Please add more equipment for people that actually workout.

I’ve grown to love this gym though it can often be packed with a younger high school crowd grouping around the equipment, as it basically neighbors Sunny hills high school. Staff is friendly enough and the work out areas are generally pretty clean. Pros: variety of free weight options, multiple squat racks, men’s and women’s only steam and sauna. Pool and hot tub. Con: not enough duplicate dumbbells in the 20lbs range, showers and steam room get dirty quickly on the men’s side. Steam room breaks often.

I work out 3-4 times a.week.and agold gym suits my workout needs. Beside from the fact that most GG location/facilities are always packed and over crowded, i find it frustrating that the steam room at the fullerton location seems.to be under repairs 360 days out of the year.

The gym needs a remodel and new machines. I recently moved and this is the closest location to me, but the majority of the machines are worn down. The belt does not seem to function properly. On top of that there is no water. All the water fountains have gunk. The floor mats are so dirty to the point that I don’t even use one anymore. I loved golds gym, but unfortunately have to start looking for a new gym.

Worst gym and worst gym experience ever, I wanted to check out the gym to go with my friend I signed in for a guest pass and the guy let me go through after we completed it I went to change to work out then the guy from the front desk said I had to leave I said why and he said your friend doesn’t have those privileges after he let me in And then he said I can pay twenty to stay… whack gym I’ll stick to LA fitness or 24

The gym is alright, the girl I spoke to on the phone today was rude and had no perception of customer service... It clearly says on the website FAQ that if you need to cancel your membership you need to do so in person, or through email. I did it through email, approx. 2 months ago, and they still charged me. When I called front desk about what happened, apparently there's a separate number not listed that I need to call. Not only did I get charged through July, but have to pay through August as well when I cancelled my membership end of May, even though I did what the website says to do in order to cancel. I think it's just poor customer service and lack of clarity on their part when it comes to membership services.

I really love this gym, I wish I could give it 5 stars. Pros Early workout classes. I start work at 8am so the early 5:15 classes work with my schedule. The facility is nice and they added new equipment. Staff is always polite and friendly. Cons Cleanliness. I did notice that when I walk in at 5 am in the locker rooms, the trash bins are always overflowing. The showers still have chucks of hair in the drains :( . The steam room is also dirty and it smells really bad. Please bring back the eucalyptus steam! I tried wiping down the vanity counter and it was dirty, when I went to grab a paper towel, they were not stocked. I really hope this gym pays attention to maintenance. I have been attending since it opened and I don't want to leave, but it if continues to be dirty, I will have to find another place.

My membership was up and had to renew it. The experience was very easy and I got the best deal possible. It may not be the newer and bigger gym compared to La Mirada, but the staff here are always amazing and it truly feels like a home gym with a family like environment! Big shout out to Dana for following up and making sure I was taken care of during the renewal process! It was seamless! Thank you!

I can here twice, a new member. Whenever I come here, I had to wait for them to get some service. I had an appointment here, and when I asked them, they just tell me to wait in the lobby area ( inside of the gym) and take a long time 20 minutes to take care of you) and when I was waiting, I looked around they have workers there but does not appear to do anything. The workers think that they are better than anyone… a bad philosophy

After almost a year update: Showers are dirty half the time. Equipment are broken due to heavy usage. Staffers are rude, disrespectful, and always yelling at members 30 minutes before closing they are closing. We know. They always giving dirty look if you leave at closing because they have somewhere better to be. Good price but the customer service is lacking. Incredibly hard to close your membership account.

Terrible customer service. This location is five minutes away from my workplace and thus wanted to try out before making my mind. This location’s employees put thousand of reasons to reject the 1 time trial session. Although I love their various available equipments, I truly believe this location or the policies from Gold gym need to accommodate customers, not make them want to choose alternatives.

I'm disappointed with this gym due to its poorly maintained equipment. Machines are often unbalanced and need regular greasing, yet the staff doesn't proactively address these issues. It's frustrating to constantly report these problems, not what I expect for the price I pay.

I joined yesterday and compared to other Golds in the surrounding areas this one is by far the best. Employees are nice and very attentive. Great customer service but there is only one small issue. The women’s restroom has a sewage smell towards the showers and sauna. Everything else is wonderful.

So far has been a fairly enjoyable experience, mainly joined due to the pool in my complex is not heated during the winter and is 45 degrees all day, but yet they heat it during the summer. Golds gym pool is heated, upwards of 85 degrees. Can easily focus on swimming many laps with lout having to focus on the pain of essentially a cold plunge and trying to work out. The locker rooms are kept pretty clean, toilets, and sinks as well and all stocked. Some gym etiquette I have seen has been followed by most people using the pool too. A few here and there just push their way in. But overall and excellent experience so far.

Gold's Gym in Fullerton is really nice and clean. The equipment are well maintained and the whole Gym well designed. It's an enjoyable place to work out.

This gym is excellent. The equipment is well maintained, there is a good selection of different types of equipment, the staff is pleasant, and the clientele is higher quality.
