If you enjoy playing hide and seek to find paper towels & disinfectant then come here. In just a single 30 min treadmill walk, I've counted 23 people walk up to a dispenser only to find it empty, with some either walking all the across the gym to another one or forgoing to clean the workout equipment at all. The staff here 99% of the time are leaning on the counters, engaged in only their phones with their back turned to the entrance, OBLIVIOUS to any and all people coming in or out (think I'm lying, run the security tapes...) Matters not whether you come in morning, afternoon or late at night, the experience is the SAME (however it's significantly worse at night). People pay money to come here and use their workout time to decompress, relieve stress, and to get healthy. Catching an infection or something here is completely the opposite of this place purpose. It's more than obvious the overwhelming majority of the staff here does NOT care about or take pride in their job (with one taking a smoke break outside every 20 steps). Since being here, I've only witnessed 2 staff members actually cleaning the machines and refilling the dispensers from their carts. Management should review tapes and have mandatory all hands meeting to address these issues and concerns, bc I'm certainly NOT the only one who feels like this, I the one who will post it tho, as long as you all are taking my money. DO BETTER...

I love this gym , location is next to freeway, cheap gas, autozone and food. What made this place special was that it was open For 24hrs , shame that is going to change , if you want to cut costs just get more members not slow down the economy... and be Greedy I will cancel at Feb 13

This gym is a mixed bag. There are times when it's so crowded I can hardly get a decent workout in and it takes twice as long to do anything. Lots of kids working out now because it's free for them over the summer and that's great but, again, very crowded. Pluses are it's open 24/7 and there's never a wait for the tanning, red light therapy, or hydromassage beds. Hoping it gets better when the kiddies all go back to school again. 😆

The reasons I'm knocking stars are because 1) it recently went from 24/7 to closing at 7pm on weekends, which is pretty inconvenient, and 2) like a lot of gyms, they have way too many treadmills/ellipticals and not enough free weights or squat racks, which fill up extremely fast. It's a rather poor use of space, and therefore, I pick and choose when I go, based on the workout I plan to do - and go to the much larger, and more spacious Tustin location otherwise. A third reason is because the music is too loud. I wear earbuds to listen to my workout routine, and it can occasionally nearly get drowned out by the gym's volume level. And a fourth reason is that the parking spaces are incredibly narrow. Not everyone cares about parking within the lines, and it's too easy for an open space to not actually be open. Or to squeeze in so tight that you can't open your door. I don't think losing two parking spaces would kill them, if each space could be re-striped a bit wider. It's pretty bad. Sometimes I walk to the gym just to avoid the narrow parking spaces. Otherwise, it's the closest gym to my apartment, and it's conveniently right next door to Grocery Outlet. After writing this all out, I'm actually less of a fan than I thought.

Parking is pretty packed here, every time we've come to this location it's kind of hard to find parking near the entrance. They close the bathroom a little early before closing so be sure to use that early if you need it. My husband was frustrated today because people were "reserving" machines but not even using them. 😩 (It was a machine that were only two of and one was being "reserved" the whole time we were there) Also apparently this location used to be 24 hours and they just recently changed it. 🥲

Nice place but like the other gyms I been to. It is difficult to use the weight machines because people are more on the phone then actually using the machines. if they want to use the phone then they should get off the machine and go somewhere else to sit and not just sat at the machine and hog it while people who are actually there to work out are still waiting to use it. It is frustrating and annoying.

I really appreciate the tem here. My sister has mental health issues and they never say anything to us about her seating in the waiting area when we're working out. Thank you

This gym is my top of the list planet fitness gyms, I love the vibe as soon as you come in, they welcome you with a genuine, joyful smile. They work hard and keep towels and sanitizers always filled. Clean restrooms. I rate this fitness club a 5+ star club... sincerely, XLóp

Staff is always kind to me. Or at the very least acknowledges my existence when I enter and leave like everyone else and that right there is awesome in itself. They truly try and keep with the slogan "judgment free zone"

This is a terrific gym with very professional staff, always always clean, not too crowded, and the black spa is accessible. If I live in Fullerton again or near, I'll definitely go here again. But not all planet fitness gyms are equal. Rock Springs, Wyoming is also super well ran. The one in Kennewick, WA is horrible. Far too many membership sold so it is crowded, and the place is just plain dirty. Poor maintenance on the machines. That's how it goes when a place is greedy by selling too many memberships.

This place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I like the different machines, and the availability. The only drawback, is I feel like cheap body builders are coming here for calisthenics, and they're hogging!

  • 5/5 Phillip A. 7 months ago on Google
Buttery smooth machines, very friendly staff, free filter water refill, paper towels are always available, dumbbell are always in right places, and most importantly always clean. I like that persistent maintenance on all the machines, no missing weight pins, no broken cables, no squeaking noise. Maybe only needs replace cup holders on treadmills and elliptical. Overall I highly recommend this gym!

Planet Fitness is a popular gym chain that offers memberships to individuals looking for an affordable and convenient way to stay fit. It has been in business since 1992, and its locations span the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and the Dominican Republic. Planet Fitness prides itself on being an inclusive environment with a "judgment-free zone" policy where everyone can feel comfortable while they work out. The most attractive feature of Planet Fitness is its low-cost membership fees which start at just $10 per month, depending on your location. This cost factor makes it much more accessible than other gyms, which often charge higher monthly rates or require long-term service contracts. Additionally, each site offers access to modern equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals, and weight machines so you can customize your workout routine according to what works best without breaking the budget! Overall, Planet Fitness provides excellent value when compared with other gym chains due to its affordability coupled with quality service offerings like no-commitment memberships or clean locker rooms/showers making it ideal if you are looking for convenience but don't want to spend too much money upfront or commit yourself long term! The judgment-free atmosphere also ensures that all visitors feel welcome regardless of their fitness level - something many traditional gyms lack!

This is a decent PF branch as it’s located in a convenient area, close to the university but also not too far from the more busy area of Fullerton. Also on its way to the downtown area, pretty underrated for a walking or just a Sunday stroll for cardio on the weekdays. Most importantly though it’s only ten bucks a month for the branch only membership. Idk any other similar gym membership other than maybe crunch but it’s in a less convenient area for around the neighborhood. Now with the highlights being said, it does come with some cons. The gym do get crowded quite fast in the evening and even nighttime sometimes. It gets even more crowded in the summer with their special deal for high schoolers. As with more people, many equipments are becoming unavailable, which is understandable. Sometimes the bathroom also get dirtier while there’s a lack of staff. It’s a medium size gym overall that’s just not designed for such capacity of members. It’s still a good value all and all

I wish the staff would walk around every 5 minutes or so and remind members that cell phone use is only permitted in the lobby only. No one pays attention to signage. So many sit on machines and scroll/talk on their phones. Several times when I ask to use the machines I am told they "are resting between sets". Mind you, they have been sitting there for long periods. Now the management stated, when I complained, to come up front and alert the staff. So, now I have to walk clear up front and then I get dirty looks when I come back to use the machine. This company touts 'no intimidation' but what is this when treated this way?

This is the worst planet fitness I have been to in the US . I do a 30 minute work out and there was about 4 people sitting on the machines that you have that are outside of the zone your staff is absolutely horrible here and in fact if I see this kind of behavior in every gym I will be writing a horrible review. MONITOR YOUR 30 MINUTE WORK OUT AREA

The male employees are always full of smiles, greet each other warmly, take a bath very happily, clean and friendly, and don't worry about being refused entry when entering the door. There are also plenty of parking spaces. Many people don't know that they can park in the supermarket parking lot next to them, so they will complain.

This place is great for beginners. The only thing that sucks here are some of the people. They do not clean the machines and leave their disgusting sweat and just walk away. Other than that, the staff here is very nice, helpful and informative.

I'm not much on the workout but I have to admit the massage chairs and the tanning salon are worth it all by itself. Great place I really like it.

Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s clean and I haven’t had any problems since I’ve been going. I feel safe. Not too crowded in the early morning.

The staff is amazing. The black card includes so many wonderful benefits! I had a personal training session that was so helpful and cant wait for the other classes! Best part is it really is a judgment free zone!

Great gym. Thank you Daniel for the hospitality and professionalism whenever we enter and/or leave the gym.

They really don’t put soap in the men’s showers! I asked the girl in the front to refill the soap dispensers and she said she did! While I go back to the locker room showers, there was no soap! They need to retrain there employees!

I ussually don't give reviews since in a business you expect what a businesses is supposed to offer, however, this is the second time I am told one thing by the personal here and given a different result, eventually they made me overpay and charged fees that did not apply to my contract. I wish there was a bit more transparency or better training for the employees here. At the end, I'm glad I moved to a different fitness company. 24 fitness is offering fixed contracts for the same monthly fee, and as you may know much more-better equipment and benefits. Cheers.

The staff here are Spectacular! I have worked at gyms, and I can tell that PF prides themselves on the staff that they keep. Cynthia is a gem. She has been working there since I started my fitness journey and she has become such a friend and a huge part in my success. She motivates me and I see this with the other guests as well. Keep her at all costs.

Been a member here for 3 months. This Fullerton location is clean and has a lot of machines. It’s a basic gym as far as gyms go. There is no pool, no sauna, and no steam room. The biggest drawback is that there is no scale in the locker room, which is really surprising to me.

It's not my home gym but I love it here. I come almost everyday. Alot of the staff are so kind and helpful. I love it so much that I don't mind doing a 20 min drive every day just to come here
