Authentic taste! Definitely a MIST-VISIT-RESTAURANT in ginza area.

It was our first day in tokyo with a child. We were very hungry when we went to this place. They denied to serve us vegetarian food inspired of having it on the menu. We were looking for simple and basic food but they denied.

It’s a pretty old restaurant - setup in 1956 as per its webpage, by a japanese owner who stayed in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for some time. Although most of the dishes are Indian, they have brought in their own twist in each of the dishes, I guess inspired by owner’s experience and to make it more palatable to local clientele. Tandoori chicken started with gravy on top of it, or a bharwa baingan too in the same fashion! Does bring in a different taste. Indian curries are usually thick but found them to be quite opposite here , like a rasam. We ordered chicken curry and the recommended Kashmir curry along with rice. If you have a japanese person to take to an Indian restaurant, may be this is a good place to initiate. My japanese colleague likes this place a lot. Overall a good vibe, good ambience. Staff was courteous and service was fast.

It's a small shop located on the 3rd floor of a building near JR Yurakucho Station. Around 8 tables that seat about 4 guests each. Turnaround time is quite fast so it was only about a 10min wait for us during peak lunch time. Rice portion looked quite a lot for me (I always ask for less rice) but because of the curry, the portion was just perfect! It probably was not enough if I ordered a menu that was much hotter (more ⭐ s on menu). I ordered Shahi curry, which was a one ⭐ vegetable curry. It was still spicy but still very delicious. Big chunks of carrot, potato, okra, and eggplant.

Very delicious curry 🍛 😋 And yes, there're gluten-free options.

The food is good and the vibe is different than most Indian restaurants in Japan. The menu is quite extensive. I highly recommend the kulfi in the dessert section.

It’s not a traditional “English” Indian restaurant so might not immediately see familiar dishes if visiting from UK. Glad I had the tandoori chicken as really liked the rich sauce. So much better than when served dry. The veg dishes were more average and less accessible I felt but well worth a visit. Sort of 3.5 stars !

The food came out fast and the samosas were okay, but everything else in the meal was bad. Flavorless nan, rice that tasted like the washcloth (literally), and weak curry. There are plenty of Indian places in Tokyo. There is no need to visit this one.

One of the best curry lunch place in the area. So many items in one plate, and only cost ￥1000!! Always very fulfilling and tastes very authentic. January's special, Pork Marsala curry was really good!!! Definitely strongly recommended.

The food was rich 😉 Their curry was a bomb 🌶

Need improvement in curry test and serve with curry with nan/roti which is transitional of infia Pakistan.

When I call them they told me they are Pakistani Indian restaurant but they serve no nan for lunch

Very Japanese stale meal not match for name .

Tasty tandoori chicken, not spicy. They've got a lot of tastes for curry. You can find your favourite one.
