This bar is full of very friendly and helpful staff, most of them speak both Japanese and English. The food is also very good, one of the only places here in Japan that I can find hot wings! The drinks are also great, and each month they seem to ahve a new signiture drink.

The English and Japanese speaking staff do their best to fulfill all your needs: whether that's providing you with American-fare comfort food, a seasonal cocktail, or someone to chat with. They also have breakfast in the morning for those folks looking to wake up to a homemade cinnamon bun.

Went during happy hour (6-8pm). Chill little bar with decent drinks and service. Music was a bit loud for only having a handful of people in it. Would be a good place to chill and talk if you could hear each other. Has a few snacks. Salsa was freshly made which was a plus.

Incredibly friendly bilingual bartender who conversed comfortably with Japanese and English speaking customers (and was so lovely and inclusive). Cozy, homely feel with a good selection of well priced cocktails. We spent half the night chatting to another customer (with help from the bartender and Google translate). Fantastic bar, would highly recommend!

We stopped in here for a drink befor heading to dinner and ended up staying the whole night! Edo San made us feel extremely welcome. The drinks were really well priced and he makes a great espresso martini. I definitely recommend you stop in and say hello

If you want to have a relaxed time and drink some good drink this is the spot. Well known with many of the Expats in Kanazawa. Stop in for a drink and have a chat with the bartender, or one of the locals that come in to practice a little bit of their English. Lots of fun events as well.

We had a great time at this bar, ended up spending the entire night there. The host Edo San is really accommodating and makes some great cocktails. I would highly recommend you stop by!

We stayed in Kanazawa for just under a week and despite venturing far and wide, always seemed to find ourselves back at Kaname Bar. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great music (we even saw a live performance one night) and very friendly English speaking bartender Ed made this our favourite place. With amazing food and a great drinks list, I would highly reccomend you stop by here!
