This place is absolutely amazing. If you ever come to Kanazawa and wanna have a lovely music night, this place is EXACTLY what you are looking for. They have many classic records and really have nice taste to the music. They reminded me of my bitter sweet memories in America with Pink Floyd and the cure, and so on. Needless to say, the cocktail was so good, even the meme was well thought out. I had spicy red wine based cocktail, it's sweet and easy to drink. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Very nice bar with friendly, English-speaking staff and overall chill atmosphere. The music selection and sound quality were very nice, as were the drinks, which were served for a fair price. Can very much recommend for music lovers, or for anybody looking for a nice place for a drink.

Great food, I highly recommend the salmon pasta. The atmosphere is great too, never seen live vinyls being played like this before!

We found this bar as we were staying at the hotel and just loved it. We loved the trendy wood decor and intimate and cozy tables. The wall of vinyl records was the center show piece and point of difference. The music playing was a mix of 70s - 90s and the DJ played many an old favourite that you couldn’t help but hum along to or dance in your seat. The cocktails during happy hour (6-8pm) were fantastic and incorporated local ingredients. The menu was more of a Western style and while the dishes were small serves, they were absolutely delish. Mains ranged from 1300 - 1800 yen. Polite and English speaking staff with English and Japanese menus. Highly recommend a few drinks and dinner at this bar. Only problem is that they are closed on Wednesdays!

Bar with a chilled vibe - at least on a Monday night. Great selection of Japanese craft gin and accompanying snacks (great cheese board selection). Music provided great atmosphere.

Very good drinks, even for someone who don't usually drink this kind of stuff. They really treat music seriously there, just look at this speaker and it can speak for itself 😂

Fantastic new building in the area - with an amazing music bar on the first floor home to a selection of DJ's every night playing their own styles or from the extensive collection along the walls! Perfect place to stay or at the very least go and enjoy a drink!

Fantastic time at this place. Bartender Shion Sasaki is a master of mixology. Super friendly and accommodating. Moscow Mules, Salty Dogs, Gin and Tonics. We introduced him to the mint Julip which I think he really appreciated. I also discovered Blanton’s Bourbon. We ordered the seafood bouillabaisse and it was awesome. The atmosphere was great. The speakers were great to look at although I thought the sound could have used a tiny bit more bass. Overall it’s a great spot to grab some drinks and a little food. Make sure to stop here if you’re ever in Kanazawa.

Probably one of the main reason I chose to stay in Kaname Inn Tatemachi is because of Kanazawa Music Bar’s sound system. Not sure where else I can listen to amazing 70-80ish playlist through McIntosh amplifier from a raw source. I just wished they played more songs like Tatsuhiro Yamashita’s. I was impressed with their soybean tiramisu when I went there last year, but it seems like they don’t have it anymore. So we decided to get the matcha pudding, but surprisingly it was very nice too!

I have a hotel room here and this is an Absolutely AMAZING place to sit down and relax while listening to some very good set of equipment! This is definitely the best hifi experience you will get in a music bar here in Japan! The staff is incredibly friendly and a couple of them are fluent in English! They can translate for you to Japanese to communicate with the music selector. The music selector is also one of the nicest guys I've met in Japan. You can also communicate via Google translate.

We weren’t sure what to expect but this is a genuinely good listening bar! The photos online don’t do it justice (and most people were just there for drinks). A new space with a beautiful sound system, crystal clear audio and a broad music selection. Relaxing atmosphere and lovely staff 👌.

Wow location! Live music from vinyl, super sound experience, friendly staff, and extraordinary interior. Go for it!!!
