If you looking for a hardware store that sells everything you need for your home & garden, the new Leyroy Merlin will delight you with many choices, designs to your need and delivery. All based on one single floor, you can easily manouvre about. At the entrance to your left, is a little café to ponder about your list of things with a hot or cold beverage.Outside parking caters for wheelchair/ramp and ample parking making it a lovely experience. CC accepted.Tiolets just behind the cashiers. Unfortunately its webpage does not translate in other languages, only in Portugues. I sincerely hope they update that soonest!

Check that the prices they charge you for the items when you pay are the same than the ones displayed. Items were more than 80% more expensive than displayed and we had to ask them to correct the price. Good that we noticed... This happened for 2 of 2 items, so it was not a punctual mistake...

I have to say, this is one of the best customer service experiences I've had in Madeira. My Portuguese is still pretty poor - especially my DIY Portuguese. The first assistant in the tiling section, whose English I thought was pretty good, was not confident speaking English and found another assistant straight away to help me. This assistant was particularly helpful giving me very specific directions for me to find what I needed. The next was at the accounts desk assistant who went to a lot of trouble to help me with a problem I was having with an online order which I needed to collect later in the day. Another was Carlota in the Construction section who was extremely helpful in trying to source what I needed. When she approached her colleagues for information and advice, they were also very helpful. And in all these occasions all the assistants seemed confidentally knowledgeable about Leroy Merlin processes. Thank you for making a very long day a little more pleasant.

Fantastic place for all garden and DIY supplies. Competitive prices and a huge variety of choices. You can even get a coffee there before you go home and start working on your property.

Extremely frustrating shopping experience. Majority of the time they do not have items in stock, they tell you they can order it and it will arrive in 1 month (!) but it always takes much longer than that. The staff are unhelpful and unpleasant, they’re more interested in gossiping and flirting amongst themselves than helping customers. Very unprofessional, the old store (AKI) was far better.

Very good client service. Orders are sometimes late but the choice of products is really good. Not the cheapest though.

It has everything you can think off to make diy or refurbish your household. Lots of parking too as well as a mini cafe to refuel your energies

The experience at Leroy Merlin on Madeira Island has been disappointing. Unfortunately, several prices are incorrect, and it's not the first time we've encountered this issue. Last time, it was even a staff member who made the mistake. The lack of price accuracy is unacceptable. Furthermore, the store on Madeira Island is not organized like the other Leroy Merlin stores we find in Europe. The lack of organization makes it difficult to find products and navigate the store efficiently. It's also noticeable that there's a shortage of options for garden and summer decoration materials year-round. Given the island's popularity and favorable climate, one would expect a wider selection of these products to be available regularly. I hope that Leroy Merlin on Madeira Island can improve its price accuracy, organization, and product offerings to provide a more satisfying shopping experience for its customers.

Very clean, bright and well organized store that has everything you need for your DYI projects or gardening. Being from the USA I am used to the disorganized mess of Home Depot, so I loved this place when I first walked in. The place even has a café to chill in if you need a break before heading back into the fray of shopping.

It is a nice store. It is not Lowe's or Homedepot, but they have some useful stuff. Now, I don't know how many of the smaller itens I would actually buy there over Amazon because they were a bit pricey.

Plenty of excellent offers. If you are building a house or renovating then this is the perfect place to visit. New technologies such as solar panels for electricity generation and storage are also available

Favourite supply store in Funchal. Anything DIY you need you'll get it here. If there is no stock you have to wait 4-6 weeks to arrive tho. Staff is really helpful. There are toilets and big parking lot. They cut wood in size, design your kitchen and sell solar panels. Highly recommended.

Great selection but a little deceptive in their pricing display. Bought a paint on 30% discount got to till and was told that the colour I had wasn't on special, a little annoyed. Probably should stick with the smaller hardware stores.

Great place to shop DIY, a one stop shop for all, but not the cheapest, there are cheaper places to buy the same items.
