Very busy area but worth a visit.

This is a big shopping centre with lots on offer but living outside of Funchal I have noticed a big difference on general shopping items and hence the reason for the 3 🌟 The staff are very busy and when I did some shopping found staff very helpful.

Shopping centre in the city, it holds pingo doce super market and a few nice shops. It is very small but it is very well located

This centrally located shopping mall can take care of most of your needs...from telecommunications, stationery, home electronics, fast food to fresh fish and wine! I go there four to five times a week. Love the place!

Der Pingo Doce SUPERmarkt (der seinen Namen wirklich verdient) mit gutem Sortiment und günstigen Preisen im Zentrum gelegen, ideal um den Kühlschrank im Hotelzimmer aufzufüllen oder sich ein Vesper für die Wanderung am nächsten Tag zusammenzustellen. Wer in der Innenstadt Lebensmittel (auch regionale!) einkaufen möchte ist hier bei Pingo Doce richtig.

Toll, wenn man als Tourist im Stadthotel mal schnell etwas im dortigen Supermarkt besorgen möchte. Mit Rolltreppe in die 1. Etage m. Sportschuhgeschäft, Optiker, Elektronikladen usw.

Not the best shopping centre in Funchal but it does have some useful shops. Unfortunately the toilets leave a lot to be desired.

This is the main shopping mall of Funchal right in the city center. It is definitely not the biggest or prettiest mall, however, you can get most of the basic stuff. Parking is available and free if you shop at Pingo Doce, which is nice.

Quite weak shopping center. There are small shops but they were closed when I was there. I came only for pingo doce.

Local little shopping center. Great for food shopping, magazines, coffee. Great supermarket. Avoid weekends, too busy during day.

Not one of the most varied shopping center on the Island but it can give you some possibilities like a supermarket with many products and a take-away type restaurant with healthy cheap food. There is also shoe shops, restaurants and coffe shops aswell as some more variety stores. For being in the center of Funchal with loads of daily people coming in and out I think that it should have more options but overall it is not that bad at all.

This is a nice central shopping centre with a variety of city centre retail outlets, nice dining area on the upper level, and a very busy supermarket on the ground floor. Ideal for most needs of both local residents and visitors while in the area.

Shopping centre with one big grocery store - Pingo Doce. You will find there all you need, fresh and good quality of product, delicious bakery staff, traditional portuguese items. There is also beanery where you can eat lunch or dinner.

Small shopping center in the middle of the city. Supermarket, some restaurants, gift shop (ale hop).

Lots of shops to browse through more commercial than the farmers market nearby.
