Vegetarian food options available (with refried beans instead of meat) and even vegan if you order without sour cream/cheese. The tacos and nachos are gluten free. Lots of different craft beers from Portugal, 7 taps, lots of choices from the fridge in cans and bottles. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they give their honest opinion on the beers and provide very good recommendations. Two small tables outside, but the interior is cozy as well!

This place is the best if you want to spend an awesome evening In Funchal. Craft beer here is something else. I bet they have the greatest variety on the whole island. And of course delicious food! Pork tacos are my favourite!

New place (translating to clean, well maintained, modern design) which offers a large variety of craft beers and several mexican food choices such as nachos, quesadilla, burritos or tacos. I had the vegetarian quesadilla (based on beans as main filling) and it was very tasty! Would come again. They allow you to pick the main type of meat (or beans, for the vegetarian option) + 2 sauces of your choice along with the rest of ingredients. Bonus, they serve a really good vinho verde so don’t skip on that either while in Madeira :)

Great selection of changing beers on tap and also a fridge of bottled. Didn't eat so can't comment on food but the place itself is very well set out and a relaxing venue. Lovely, friendly staff, especially the barman who also helped us in getting a taxi back to our hotel. He was a star! We hope to return here on another visit to Madeira and try the food too.

Compared to other options here, this is it for beer lovers. Nice selection of really good beers, not like some other tourist traps here. Mexican kitchen is great also, staff is friendly and know their thing. Interior is really nice and decent. Can't recommend more after today's fiasco at Beer House 😆

New place in downtown to enjoy cool craft beers. 6 taps at the moment, mostly Portuguese breweries. Also quite a few cans and bottles to choose from. Mexican food, nice vibe and cool music. Would visit again when in Madeira

If you love interesting microbrews and or a bit of Tex mex food, this is your place! The nachos were great the beer is the hard choice as there are sooo many, 8 or so on tap! Even our dog looks intrigued. Friendly service, great music, not ridiculously loud when we were there. A hidden gem off a little side street that developing into a string of good restaurants.

Best craft beer in town. So many good options. Food is specific, but if you love Mexican kitchen you ate ob the right place. Amazing taste and good looking food. Nice stuff and nice atmosphere in small street🤌 we will come back for more.

Knowledgeable owner, fantastic craft beers on tap and delicious Mexican food. Add this spot to your "must do" list for Madeira and, if you're here long enough, make it your regular hangout, it's that good.

A new bar near Savoy apartments in Funchal city centre. It was a tad quiet on the night we were in which isn’t surprising considering the place is brand new. We were made to feel very welcome by the tall waiter. The menu is small and quirky. We only had nachos and those were loaded, great value for money. They don’t do poncha but have a decent cocktail list and wine selection. The bartender seems to know a lot about craft beer. We’ll try some on our next visit. Good luck for the future!

Small restaurant with delicious food! We have been here twice within 5 days. We had nachos and quesadillas - just can recommend you! It‘s nice to sit outside and observe the madding crowd in Funchal.

Cozy place with a great craft beer, both tap and bottled along with mexican style food. The waiter is the owner by himself, super friendly and he knows his beers very well. The place is new and it is worth the visit.

Great selection of craft beer, friendly staff. Didn’t have high expectations, but the food was delicious. The menu is quite small but the quality is top notch. We ordered a naked burrito and quesadillas. Everything was fresh and the guacamole was the best I’ve ever tried. There’s plenty of space for large groups. They don’t do deliveries yet which is a shame. All in all a reasonably priced place to have a bite to eat, watch some footie and have a drink

Tacos and beer in Funchal! Funchal Tap has legit Mexican food. The tortilla chips are thin and crispy, the meats are spicy and tasty, and the craft beers are from mainland Portugal and are well curated. We'll be back for sure.

In a word:fantastic. Good beer excellent food. Terrific service. Close to everything you should plan your day including a visit to this spot. I will hit this again.
