The best place in Funchal. The best espada the best prego no prato, the best service, the warmest welcome. Very good wine, basic, but very tasty. I don't want to eat anywhere else snd I am sorry I have wasted so much money on other places. Highly recommended and found by accident. A star!!!

Autêntica comida regional! Recomendo a sopa de trigo, milho quente com atum ou o filete de espada com batatas e salada. Para sobremesa, Queijada da Madeira. A comida é muito boa, saborosa, bem servida, e a um óptimo preço, menos de 10€ uma refeição completa. Para além disso, o dono é muito simpático e prestável e o restaurante fica no centro. Recomendo!

A cozy restaurant. We were surprised how this local GEM is well located, the decor is simple but the food/service is very good and extremely well priced. We started our experience with a starter - potatos and sword fish. After some beers we order sword fish 🐟 fillets and salad which was superb 👌 When we were done, Romão (employee) suggested their home made poncha = best that I had in my life. THANKS FOR THIS FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE 👏

Os pratos são bem simples. O bacalhau estava ok mas o segundo prato veio frio, a salada não consegui nem comer. O banheiro cheira muito mal e definitivamente precisa de uma reforma. Está longe de um padrão turístico para o local onde se encontra. Engraçado que é um restaurante português onde não se encontra um garçom que consiga falar português.

Pyszne jedzenie w klimatycznym miejscu! Zachęcili nas nie turyści w fikuśnym lokalu, ale lokalni jedzący przy stolikach wystawionych na ulicę. Panowie jedli rybę i my również na nią się skusiliśmy. Duże porcje z frytkami i ziemniaczkami, sałatką oraz pysznie przyrządzona ciecierzyca. Lokalny przysmak - espada - mięciutka, jedna z najlepszych ryb jakie jedlismy. Do tego cała porcja za 6€, wiec pysznie i tanio!
