We decided to visit as per recommendations and that was a nice choice. This place is more like elegant restaurant with a professional service, well maintained. Food was very good. Nice time there and definitely worth to visit for a lunch, dinner or just drink! Enjoy!

What a great evening's food and entertainment. Some of our group had the famous espetada meat skewers and others a choice of steak, chicken or fish on hot rocks, where you effectively cook your own food, with sides of potato and veg or salad. Great fun and delicious. I would certainly recommend this place and may need to make a reservation first, as it was popular!

Delicious food served at a very reasonable price. We both had the stone cooked steak and were blown away by it! Good wine selection too and we were able to get seats without a reservation, although it certainly appears a reservation would be preferable. Would definitely return to eat again!

Good dining on the coastline. Filet steak on the stone and hanging chicken kebab were our choices and we're both lovely, the chips left something to be desired though.

We had two really great meals here. Staff were really friendly and polite. The food was amazing - though I'm not the greatest with a steak on a stone! The portions are generous, we got 2 sides with our mains which was more than sufficient. Prices were fair too. The restaurant was well decorated and has a covered patio about the same size as the indoor seating area.

Excellent Restaurant! if you are in the area you should probably try it out! food was very well prepared!! everything was delicious, the only improvement would be the french fries but everything else was 5/5! Service was amazing!! restaurant is packed recommended making reservations!

Great food, very friendly staff! The location is very nice also, and it's a quiet sitting area with almost no background noise. I can absolutely recommend this place!

Visited in July 2023 with family. Very nice food and service, nice terrace with a view. Paid 25 Eur/person for good dinner with drinks, wein, coctail. Accessible with wheelchair, parking infront of the entrance.

Sadly since this restaurant was taken over by new owners it has really deteriorated. It used to be a really nice place with excellent food, but now it has surly staff, slow service and poor quality food. We used to visit here regularly when on the island but this time will be our last visit, there are many more better venues close by.

Excellent overall, an amazing dinner from start to finish. The waiters were always polite and were at our table in a timely manner to refill our glasses or inquire about additional orders. The food was delicious, well cooked and perfectly spiced. The atmosphere with the ocean view, the ambiental music and the décore were also a great addition to our experience. I cannot recommend it enough!

Very nice restaurant with amazing food and the best service out of all restaurants I have visited in Madeira. The view is also great.

We visited Leenos twice for dinner. I had the sea bass and limpets both times and both were great. My boyfriend has the steak skewer which I didn’t love, but still give it 5 stars because of the sea bass, limpets, and atmosphere.

The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and even let us stay after 11 pm (their closing time).I ordered tomato soup, garlic

I am aware Leeno's has new owners and there have been suggestions that the place is not as good. I would disagree. Leenos still offers very good food and still has a great atmosphere. They are building a new team who give a good service and I believe they will go from strength to strength again. I have had 3 lovely meals whilst staying in Madeira over the last 2 weeks. Thank you to Moses and the rest of the team. Cannot wait to visit again in May 2023

Excellent beef steak, as can be seen. Friendly staff, able to offer useful tips if you are undecided on what to order.

Nice setting, good selection of food. I enjoyed my prawn cocktail and Hunters BBQ chicken. We were expecting the shrimp fajita to come out on a hot plate, but it was more of a broth so a bit messy to eat!

Love this restaurant, never been disappointed. Fillet steak on a hot stone was perfect, succulent and delicious. Great service and lovely red wine. Fabulous evening.

A popular restaurant on the West side of Funchal. The food and service is great - so much so that many tourists go back year after year and are on first name terms with the friendly staff! This was our first visit and we would go back. Apologies to vegetarians and vegans for my pic of kebabs.

The staff was friendly and gave us some nice advice. Tuna steak was a bit over cooked, although the octopus for a starter was amazing!

We stumbled upon Leeno's for a late lunch and they were still serving! Thankfully for us this was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Madeira. It's filled with locals, so you know it's good. We had the bolo do caco and ham with melon as a starter, both were delicious. We ordered the espetadas of chicken and steak, both were absolutely mouth-watering. The steak was very well cooked and both were nice and juicy. The food came pretty fast. 100% recommend to stop here for lunch or a casual dinner!

The beef was excellent! We had grilled beef fillet accompanied by a good Douro wine and finished with a passion fruit pudding, it is up there in the best meals and memories from Madeira! My wife had a chocolate mousse for desert and she said it is the best she's ever eaten!

A good selection of dishes to choose from the menu. The food was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it. This restaurant is very popular and fills up quickly. Great atmosphere and superb service by friendly, professional staff. Highly recommended.
