Oh my goodness, what a joy it was to stumble on this tiny kiosk of a restaurant near my hotel. Exceptional poncha made with freshly squeezed citrus right in front of you. The best garlicy bolo do caco and ham and cheese prego (also delightfully garlicy) I had on my trip as well. And SO AFFORDABLE! The owners are incredibly friendly, the food is fabulous, and the price can't be beat. I can't wait to return.

The best bar in Madeira. Great and nice owners, they have a few words with everyone, they genuinely care about their guests and are absolutely amazing. We even got tips from them on what else to see in Madeira. They make great burgers and their poncha is the best we've had on that island.

We walked all the way from Monte to visit Funchal and enjoy the best freshly made poncha (based on the reviews - and they were right!). We nearly missed the place since it is a little kiosk in fact. It was the first poncha we've ever had and the best we've had so far. They also make delicious snacks and burgers and on top of that - the owners are really nice and friendly. Looking forward to visit you again :) Highly recommend!

One of the best places, if not the best place we have been to. We had our first poncha here and we will have our last one too for sure! The owner treats his guests with the sweetest excitement. He did for us even a little rum tasting with an explanation of the differences of the rum. We loved it because even amateur like me could understand how diverse this alcohol can be. Great experience, great atmosphere and great feeling. Exactly what we came for!

Fresh made Poncha - one of the very best we had in Funchal. The Nikita was also delicious. The owners of the bar are originally from Madeira and are very friendly. We enjoyed the drinks a lot and also him, explaining to us the preparation and differences of Madeiran Ponchas. Great location!

Perfect place for a passion fruit mojito. They pick the mint from plants growing in a small garden behind the building. The Madeiran Poncha was also incredible. The staff were the real stars of the show though!! 10/10 would recommend stopping by.

I’m not being dramatic when I say on the 8th day after creating. The work and having a day of rest god in all his almighty being created the perfect spot for a drink and bite to eat whilst the sun is setting! Could not recommend highly enough! If you are looking for somewhere to go for some food or drinks and you aren’t sure where this is a sigh. Go here! Enjoy yourself and thank me later ❤️

Incredible place with the tastiest cocktails ever, the friendliest service and the best prices! We stopped at this place every night and had the chance to taste various drinks and trust me when I say, not a single one disappoint! A must in Madeira! And don’t miss out on the typical Madeiran punch🍹

We tried the typical drinks poncha and Nikita here, super fresh and good. The owner is very kind, and makes them at the moment, you can tell he is very passionate about his job :) absolutely recommend. Also, good prices!

FABULOUS! Don't miss out on their Pinchas and Nikitas. So yummy, and made with love - you can taste it! We come here almost every day for the excellent drinks and even more excellent service. The owners are truly interested in serving you, and ensuring your comfort and happiness. The music is fun, the people are terrific.

Delicious drinks. Very nice and helpful staff. It's a small street bar with only few tables, but if you happen to walk past deffinitely visit this place. You won't regret it.

The best poncha on the island! It's freshly made in front of your eyes. You have to wait a little bit longer but it's worth it. The service really cares about the best experience. We’ve been there twice and 100% recommend it.

You'll stop for a second and realise that you wanted to do a review for the lovely and professional service that Micael and Marlene provide in this wonderful establishment and realise that you haven't done it justice😥 No matter, you'll have to come and see in real life the splendour that camera technology can't capture yet. The owners are the stars of this experience and your island experience will be enriched coming to this quant local hidden gem. I still state the best best burger, poncha and service on the island and I've been wondering around Madeira for two years. I can't wait to see what Micael and Marlene do next.
