Beautifully presented meat and cheese board with plenty of crackers and bread. EUR22.00.  Personally the strawberry jam didn't quite work.  Far to sweet and fruity. Generous portion and the Goats cheese was particularly good once the strawberry jam had been scraped off. Good choice of wines. The house white is also very nice and a good price.  A few seats outside on the street. Good service and quality products. They also give you a small complimentary tapas plate with your drink. Just under EUR50 for a bottle of wine, 2 glasses and the board.

Great cheese and meat platters made to order. A good selection of Portuguese wines served by knowledgable staff. The owner is very friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome.

Very nice, family atmosphere. Next to but nevertheless off the touristic mainstream.  Friendly and competent service. They understand very well the customer's demand and serve fine recommendations. From good to excellent wines ... the portfolio offers wines for everyone's taste.  In a group of 8 people we have had various side dishes such as cheese tapas and regional sausage specialties as well as bruschettas.  We only can say: highly recommended.

More than makes up for the so-so atmosphere with an amazing selection of wines, cheeses, meats and fruits at prices so low we checked the bill to see if they'd undercharged us. (They hadn't.) Plus cheerful service, a lovely host and the odd free cocktail. Just forgive them the music later at night - you'll zone it out quickly enough. =)

Nice little bar on a secluded side street. Great selection of wine but the waiter when we went wasn't particularly forthcoming with advice or information on the wine, and seemed rather keen to leave the table (despite us being the only customers at the time). The cheese platter was great and the wine was good (great for the price).

This bar is located in a quiet and very pleasant street in Funchal, The owner was very helpful in advising us to select the right wine variety, and the price for a bottle was very affordable. I recommend if you are interested in tasing Portuguese wine.

Wanted to try some Madeira wine. Was not very hungry, so was looking for a place that does a nice cheese and meat board. This place was great, had 4 types of Madeira wine as well as a very impressive selection of other wines. Had 4 glasses, had some nibbles, and left impressed. Would recommend for solo travelers, couples, and small groups.

Sonia and her staff were great with their service and attention. We had a medium cheese and meat platter which was delicious along wirh the fruit and accompaniments.

We had the medium platter of meat and cheese for 4 of us , a light supper, plus some glasses of wine… presentation fabulous and the platter was very tasty ( watch out for the spicy cheese!)…. Sonia the owner was extremely informative!

Great little wine bar, lovely meat and cheese boards. We went twice while staying in Funchal for a week. Great service and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

An absolutely fantastic find. Amazing selection of wines, delicious food (we had the bruschetta board and it was ample for two) and a great host who entertained us with her vast wine knowledge. A really chilled evening complemented perfectly by the food, wine and chat.

I hardly ever post reviews but this place had such beautiful wine and food I couldn't not. The guy who owns the restaurant is lovely and couldn't recommend more. Definitely worth a visit!

Always nice to return home because that's the way those two girls makes you feel at. They sure knows how to cook and how to present it to you giving you pleasure on the art of eating! It's a nice location, very clean and inexpensive. Only cash or local cards accepted. Enjoy the experience!

This one is a hidden place. Don't have a lot of chairs but its a lovely place to stay after work or in friday afternoon and drink a piece of wine🍷. That's what normally everyone is doing when I pass there.
