Like this shopping centre, not massive....and some parts open-air, but always a nice experience....even has a roof garden chill out space! Had an amazing pistachio ice cream from a pop up ice cream stand!

An excellent diverse and busy shopping centre over three floors with an extensive takeaway food hall on the third floor and a huge, well stocked supermarket on the lower floor. Chemists, hairdressers and clothing stores are just some of the businesses available to shoppers as well as coffee shops and leisure areas. Toilet facilities are also available on the upper and lower floors. One of the best shopping centres in Funchal!

Loved Madeira, it's a beautiful island and I highly recommend it for a holiday! The Forum Madeira, is a nice shopping centre with popular shops like H&M, Sports Direct, Zara and others. You will find Pingo doce inside, which is a supermarket, they sell warm food which is great! Great place to shop for different things you may need! Highly recommend it!

Small but decent shopping centre. Easy to find, and most of it is open air. There could be more choice in places to eat and restaurants, as most of the places available are fast food. Apart from that the centre has most things you’ll need, including clothing stores, although not many international brands.

Nice little shopping centre close to my hotel. Good shops, and choice of places to eat and drink. Also has a cinema on site. It's situated a couple of miles from Central Funchal, but bus routes 1 and 2 stop right outside the main entrance. Worth a visit.

A good selection of shops with a variety of places to eat with vegetarian options at most food outlets. The supermarket on the ground floor is excellent and if you spend €10 you get free parking for 2 hours.

Man findet alles, was man braucht.

Very nice shopping mall with a great variety of shops and place to eat. Is disposed on 4 floors and have a roof garden as well. Very clean and on the ground floor there is also a supermarket.

A small local mall with a few anchor stores - nicely laid out with a large Pingo. Great chocolate/coffee store with amazing chocolates. Mall was spoiled by allowing smokers to sit and chain smoke at a cafe ruining our experience.

Kaikenlaista löytyy myös paljon porukkaa. Ruokapaikkoja myös useita joten kaikille jotain👍

Lots of shops all under one open roof! Nice place to go to get a variety of merchandise and a coffee as well. Madeirans do seem very loyal to independent shops and it's great to see 👍

Great shopping experience with a good selection of shops

You need to take another cable car and therefore pay more to go to the botanical Gardens. I thought circa £40 a person was overpriced. Good views but also big queues so buy tickets further up the Marina to avoid queuing

Good shopping venue. Points for allowing to smoke in most areas. The down side is to get out of the inside parking is way to tight. I had to go back and forward a few times to not damage my car

A medium sized shopping centre which has all the shops you need. Limited food hall. Better than the Funchal city centre shopping centre and slightly cheaper as away from cruise ships.

My recent visit to "Forum Madeira" in Funchal was a bit disappointing. The limited variety of shops and the noticeable lack of cleanliness, especially in the restroom facilities, were quite concerning. Unfortunately, it seems that the cleanliness issue is prevalent throughout the island, which is unfortunate. The lack of diverse shopping options was underwhelming, and I had hoped for a more extensive selection. The cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms, was far from satisfactory and detracted from the overall experience. It's a shame that such a crucial aspect of maintaining a pleasant environment is not being adequately addressed. Compared to other shopping centers, "Forum Madeira" definitely falls short. The establishment should take these issues seriously and work towards providing a better experience for visitors. A broader range of stores and a commitment to cleanliness are essential to creating a more enjoyable shopping environment.

A nice 3 tier shopping centre with something for everyone. It's stores are quite mainstream and affordable for the majority. Pricing of clothes is fair to extremely cheap! My wife bought a black dinner dress (amongst other things) for 8euros! There are no elite luxury brands here. The food outlets are plentiful and there's a large supermarket at the bottom. We found this to be the cheapest place to get your groceries compared to the local convenience stores.

If you are in the west of Funchal on holiday you are likely to be staying in a hotel close to the Forum. A 4 storey shopping centre with restaurants, supermarket, sports and clothing stores. Upmarket and clean, chemists and electrical items can also be found here. There are bigger out of town stores and nicer quaint areas in the old town, but for being near a lot of the hotels this one wins

Extremely good and little shopping mall with 4 floors. Liked the different fashion stores, restaurants and grocery store (pingo). Opening hours are also great, good stuff around the buildings too and good acessable parking garage.

Very clean. Good selection of high-end and budget shops and food. Supermarket is very good, especially their cafe (economy menu - select what you want then weigh it at the till) Only problem is they seem to allow smoking throughout. Yuk!

  • 3/5 Peter D. 10 months ago on Google
Funchal allows indoor smoking. If, like me, the smell of cigarettes makes you nauseated, this is not the place for you. Prices are high. The McDonalds screwed up my wife's coffee order. Watch out for the taxis. They're supposed to be regulated but one charged double the others.

Great little shopping centre with a big supermarket within. Couple of nice shops and eateries to make it worth a stop for a couple of hours. Lots of parking to be found and nice garden on the roof.

Cons: Crowds and people smoking everywhere. Expensive parking, free only on weekends. Pros: it's compact, you can buy groceries or clothes without spending too much time (and you will not get lost:), convenient location.

One of the biggest shopping centers in Madeira Island. It has many floors including a supermarket with good product availability, variety clothing shops, jewelry and optic stores and a restauration area. You can even enjoy the view on the rooftop as well and get some sun rays.

It is very clean and has a good range of shops. The top level has a nice outdoor area for eating and enjoying the sunshine.

Nice looking shopping center; however, same brands as the one you can find in all Europe. I went there looking for local/Portuguese clothing brands and found none. Food court is just fast food and not too many places to choose from.
