Both the food and service was amazing! I got the House salad, Spicy Yellowtail roll and the Red Dragon roll. It was absolutely delicious. This was my first time here and won't be my last (might go for lunch tomorrow because it was that good)!

Tonight we decided to try something different...and we weren't disappointed, in fact we were pleasantly surprised! The owners and staff were very friendly and patient with us. Since we had never been there, it took a few minutes to decide what to order. We opted for vegetable udon noodles, hibachi shrimp and hibachi chicken. We expected that we would have to wait a while on a busy Sunday night, but it was only a matter of about 5 minutes to get our food. Fast, fresh and delicious! Another pleasant surprise were the free beverages for takeout customers and free sauces. Great customer service and delicious food. Generous portions, too. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes!

This isy second time trying this place and the same terrible food. I ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki with fried rice. I got home to find a mound of white rice with what looked like soy sauce sprinkled on. Pale chicken and shrimp which was NOT cooked in any type of teriyaki sauce. It was just piled on top of the rice with bland dry looking vegetables. This was a complete waste of money. Anyone who is saying the food is good is lying.

I want to say this place is absolutely wonderful! We had a very large order today under Scott. When we arrived, everything was neatly packaged, the owners were very friendly and humble. They asked if we needed anything and went above and beyond. The food was delicious. We all got hibachi and sushi. The meat in every hibachi meal was tender, plenty of fresh vegetables, and a good amount of rice. The sushi was fresh, and absolutely delicious for the price! I cannot wait to come back here, thank you again.

Amazing service, always smiling and always trying to give me something extra for free. Sushi is incredible. My coworker and I come here every week for lunch. I tell everyone about this place. It’s very simple inside, so maybe not the best spot for date night… but with food and service like that, it seriously doesn’t even matter. Just be careful when coming in and out of the parking lot! I get nervous every time.

The food here has always been very good. The sushi and the hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp come with PLENTY of food. On my last visit they made a mistake with my order and after a quick phone call it was fixed, no questions asked. Respect to mgmt. Great job, see you soon!!

The sushi tastes like decent grocery store sushi at best. I dunno if it's just old rice, or stale seaweed or if they were premade earlier or what, but the sushi was very disappointing. Service was very nice, very friendly, but probably won't be back, and will stick to the better sushi joints around.

We recently moved to the area and I was looking for a new favorite sushi place and this place is perfect! This will definitely be my new favorite sushi go to- the staff was wonderful, the food was absolutely divine and I was overall extremely satisfied with my meal & experience! Definitely look forward to returning :)

Dirty compared to most sushi places im used too. Looked at the restroom setup and didn't even feel comfortable washing my hands 🤮🤢 The lady taking my order was definitely racist. She didn't even ask me whether I would be dining in or not. Simply handed me my food in a takeout container then I sat myself. Of course the white couple that came in 3 minutes later got sat down with drinks, napkins, service, etc. (Really hurt but I was hoping the food would make up for it) The food was priced decently but it wasn't anything special. I got a few raw sushi rolls and a couple appetizers. Very mid at best. The Wasabi was Wildly over concentrated and choked me on every tiny bite while the fish was flavorless. Food I give a 4/10, service gets a 0/10, cleanliness gets a 2/10. Objectively the dirtiest sushi spot I've ever visited, I 100% will never return... disgusting.

Delicious sushi and great service. Very friendly folks. My sushi came out very fast and was tasty. I'll be back to try more of the menu. Variety of prices with sushi under $5 or $10+ specialty rolls. Floor was a bit dirty around table legs and underneath booths. Generally hard to reach areas. Mochi was maybe too cold. Thawing it a bit more or storing it at a slightly warmed temperature would help the eating experience. Or get it to-go to be ready to eat when you're home.

The other high reviews must be from take out. I give one star for the great service and one star for decent sushi and one star for the pricing. They dont use dishes here and serve everything over styrofoam. Everything is in packages around the inside and It looks as though they can get up and go at moments notice.

Love this place! Great food and prices and everyone is always so nice. I have food allergies (gluten and eggs) and they always accommodate me. We're here on the regular haha.

Very polite staff. I was able to pick up my order quickly. One odd thing was the young lady offered me a free fountain drink. I don't know why. We had hibachi steak and teriyaki chicken. We also had a couple sushi rolls. The food was good, and we had plenty leftover for lunch today.

My husband and I have rated hear more times that we can count and have never been disappointed. The sushi is excellent and the people working here are very kind. We normally order the tuna roll or spicy tuna roll to keep it on the healthy side, and they are delicious every time. The lunch specials are worth a try as well!

Opt for the hibachi here. Appetizers aren’t bad either. Sushi on the other hand is NOT that great at all and very salty. Far better sushi places out there. We’ve eaten sushi at multiple locations around the triangle area and this one ranks about the bottom of the barrel. Staff is great and friendly though.

So delicious. Great Customer service. Good size portions. Can't wait to try other menu items. Had Chicken udon noodle & hibachi steak and shrimp. Liked the "white sauce"- that's actually pink. Well go back for sure.

So very disappointed at today's visit. Sushi came quickly, great service. Sushi rolls all fell apart when trying to eat. Miso soup was 2 pieces tofu, 2 pieces of seafood and at least 80% broth. I ordered a salad, it was one cup iceberg lettuce, 4 slices cucumbers, not a salad by any description. They have great owner, manager who greets us everytime. It's been a few months since I've been there with family and food as diminished greatly in quality.

I ordered online and it said my order would be ready in 30 mins. 15 mins it was hot and ready to go out the door. The food was excellent. I had the chicken & shrimp combination which was the best I have had in Fuquay-Varina. Highly recommend.

Pretty bad, I rarely leave reviews and only came here because it had good reviews, however I don’t know why. This was horrible ordered steak / fried rice and two sushi rolls. Yuck didn’t finish anything

It's not bad for fast food. Everything came quickly. The table was clean. Very limited seating. Friendly staff. From what I could see they did a good job of keeping up with the steady flow of customers. As we ate lunch I couldn't help thinking that they could do a few simple things to take it up a notch. Like blanching the broccoli before using it in chicken hibachi. I'd give feedback on everything but it's really just small details.

They are very understanding and knowledgeable about gluten issues. They will pretty much make what ever you want. They had plenty of staff and our food was ready pretty quick. I'm a very picky sushi eater and so far love this place.

Me and my coworkers have lunch at Dan's quite often. A very friendly atmosphere and delicious Japanese food.
