I will never go back. This is supposed to be the big double cheeseburger I ordered. My fries we soggy and the employee was very rude. They refused to add cheese to it because, even though I originally told them I wanted cheese. They rang my order up as no cheese, another of their mistakes. I looked up cookouts menu and it says their big double is supposed to be 4.2oz. The burger I got was 2oz (1oz per patty). Less than half of what it should be. Eventually they remade the burger, again without cheese. They also never replaced the old fries. The new burger was still only 2.3oz, barely bigger than the first one. The employee was nasty with me and I didn't trust her enough to not tamper with my food after our altercation so I ended up throwing it all away. I tried to contact cookout HQ at 3:23pm est, but nobody answered.

I'm not from this area, but I need to get my parents something to eat and they like this establishment. I took them there and Miss. Briana was very rude would not let me order cut me off, and you can see they didn't fix the food right.I had to go back because they left out the onionrings. It was cold and the sweet Tea was water no flavor at all would not recommend this location at all.

Cookout is AWESOME! slightly very sketchy at times, but it makes the experience so much more exhilarating and adds to the vibe. The food is delicious and fresh, and the workers are chill. Ten out of ten, and I highly recommend going to cookout with friends or family to hang out and enjoy a meal and shake

Ordered 3 hot dogs with ketchup and mustard, and chili cheese fries. The chili cheese fries appeared to be fine, but every hot dog has ketchup and a white/clear looking sauce that I see no where on the menu. Not to mention the disgusting attitudes of the employees. Will never go back.

Went at a time where they weren't that busy (5 cars total including me). However, I waited a good 2 minutes at the drive-thru speaker before I was even greeted. I finally get to pull up to the window, and I see the cashier is inside laughing and playing (which explains why I had to wait at the speaker). Practically $6 for a BIG DOUBLE Cheeseburger where the meat is so small it doesn't even cover the bread!! There's nothing BIG about this garbage of a so-called "double" cheeseburger other than it being a BIG RIPOFF!! So much for "Fast Food."

Disappointed. The food was okay, but far from my expectations. The burger was overcooked and tasted like lighter fluid, and the portions of my onion rings and slaw were smaller than I would expect from a kid's meal.

Had 2 orders when we pulled up to the window my card got charged for the wrong order than when it came time to pay for the second order she said she didn’t get either of our orders and I ended up paying for someone else’s order!!! She finally pulls up our two orders and since I already paid for another order I said don’t worry about it it’s fine the order was $1 extra. My friends order was 27.84 he handed the cashier $40 and received 7.16 back we knocked on the window and informed the cashier we received the wrong change and she handed us back 2 dollars extra. We were supposed to get 12.16 and got 14.16 total. Since this was a horrible experience we checked our order and my friend got a measly 3 onion rings on his burger tray. We informed the manager with glasses and she told us we were lying and refused to make it right! The employees all look stoned and have a extremely poor attitude I would not recommend this location

Went to get a burger today, wanted to try the nacho style burger. Told the lady taking my order this and she asked if I wanted American Cheese. I simply said I want it the way it comes, so whichever cheese that is included and she responded with a very rude tone as if I was stupid for asking this. I then asked why she was being rude and she became combative. I eventually drove off pretty aggravated. Very poor customer service. I usually eat here weekly but after that exchange there is no reason to go back. Cook Out, find people who know how to speak to customers. This person sounded extremely mad about something and it made no sense to take it out on customers. 👎

As a northerner I first didn’t like it then it grew on me. You have to understand what it is. It’s fast low cost and it’s decent food open late. First time going stay in the far left lane and study the line you will understand for the next visit also study their menu online first. Stick with fried food, burgers and shakes and you can’t go wrong.

Stay away. Yes this is a fast food place but I tend to prefer either Cookout or Bojangles if I have to get it. This isn’t the Cookout I usually use, but thankfully I don’t use it. This is a place where high schoolers congregate to smoke pot, whilst being loud and obnoxious. The employees are all like this too. I swear, not a single employee was sober. Kitchen smelled like pot as well. They messed up my order 2 times in a row, really not that hard to make a burger, but I guess it is while your stoned. Food is all overcooked too. Stay away from here.

EDIT: I came back to this location after a week or two, and my friend had one of the paper things from a band aid in her good. Absolutely disgusting. I will NOT be returning to this location. Absolutely disgusting. I honestly still can't believe that this happened. I love how cookout is open late. However, it is usually very busy. I know the business/employees can't control that, so I won't hold it against them. After we ordered, we got our food rather quickly for how busy they were. The food was very good, as per usual. My only complaint is that the speaker system at the ordering thing in the drive thru was very very bad. It was way too loud and sounded terrible. It was honestly hard to understand what the employee was saying to me. Other than that, however, I always have a good experience at cookout.

Cook Out at this location is a mixed experience. The food is usually fresh and hot, and has a decent flavor for a fast food restaurant. However, each time I have been there I have had a mistake in my order. Either missing ingredients on my burgers or the wrong side or the soda is basically just seltzer. And quite frankly, the speaker that you talk to the associates through in the drive thru is just horrible. With how busy their location is, you would think there would be upgraded to their tech but it hasn't changed in 2 years. The staff is quite friendly though and I really appreciate that (it's hard to keep a smile when working at a fast food joint). I recommend going to the walk-up window and ordering that way if you have a few extra minutes, and having the worker read back your order to make sure everything is correct. The outdoor seating is fine, it's just a basic set of tables with umbrellas, much like you would find at a public park. Meal rushes always seem really hectic (I have been there) but often it seems too hectic and disorganized, which may be why there are always problems with our orders.

Went to this location in Fuquay last night late because it was the only thing open. I got the big double burger platter. I'm not exactly sure where the big comes in at, but I took two bites out of my sandwich and never got any meat. So I opened it up and the two patties were smaller than what you would get somewhere else ordering some sliders. The bun was stale and it honestly was just nasty. I can tell you I will never go back. They charged me $8 for that mess. If your going to cookout get a shake but I would skip the food. Absolutely disgusting.

I work at this cookout, and I believe bad reviews should go both ways. One customer threw a burger at my manager, because it had a tomato on it. A little excessive and quite childish. We were quite busy at the time, and taking care of several orders at once, it is not unreasonable that mistakes can happen. Many customers get angry and impatient sitting in line for a long time, while my coworkers have been cramped in a hot building for several consecutive hours, working 40+ hour work weeks. Patience is greatly appreciated, and if you would like faster food, you can make yourself a hot pocket in the comfort of your home.

I love cook out and normally things are great but recently the customer service and order accuracy has really fallen. I went through the drive through and the order taker cut me off before I finished speaking to ask if I wanted anything else. I let it go and just went to pay for my food. They seemed less than excited to serve me. I parked in the lot to eat my lunch and then noticed my sandwich was not right. I took it to the window to show what was wrong. The woman was really snappy and short with me about the food being wrong. They gave me a new sandwich and it was also wrong. I had already gone back to my car and just ate it because I didn't want to go back and talk to that woman again since she gave me such a hard time the first time. I just felt like they were annoyed I was even trying to purchase food there. Overall a really negative experience. I am hesitant to return if people treat me like this regardless of the taste of the food at the end of the day.

The food is as expected but the guy asking for you order could use a lesson on how to be a lot more professional! Don't yell at me because your intercom is semi broken! Sorry I snapped back at you but I wasn't the only person that got an attitude from this individual! You don't like your job, find something else!

This Cookout location is horrible, they are incredibly slow and have screwed up my orders several times. Tonight there was one car at the window in front of me. It still took probably a good ten minutes to get three milkshakes. The milkshakes were blended well (if at all) and the one that was supposed to be Heath Toffee was peach cobbler or something. I need to stop even considering this location when I'm nearby.

Great food and service! I feel bad when I go late though, they’re always so busy even up until 1am. The workers there are always so nice and quick. Probably deserve more pay for how busy it is, not to mention other customers I’ve seen there. I mean really some are just straight up abusive towards the employees. Like chill, they’re making maybe 10 an hour you don’t need to have a full meltdown at them cause you didn’t ask for sauce. They’re never rude back to them but you can hear in their voice how tired they are of it. Who wouldn’t be? I won’t give less than 5 stars, they definitely earned it. But really Cookout, pay them more, it’s gotta be one of the world wonders why anyone ever actually works there.

It was our first time here, and we went midnight just for milkshakes. They were really yum. We got Snickers and chocolate nut milkshakes. Both were really thick and tasted perfect. Even the food menu was really big. Next time, we will try that .

now usually I have a good experience and the place is good I like the food but my experience was not good today with a particular employee. the young black lady her name was BRIANA. she was very very rude and it was ridiculous. I pull up to order drive through and im not an expert on the menu so it took me a sec to look over the menu. when i pulled up she didn’t even say hi or ask me how my day was. she was very rushy and when i had a quick question about what comes on the hotdogs she was telling me “well if u read the menu it’s plainly on there”. i was never mean to her either. she didn’t want to help or ask me what i wanted (usually employees ask about the meal and what comes on it) she literally didn’t put anything on my burger but cheese i had to come home and cut my own onion and stuff. when i got to the window she was still rude acting like she didn’t want to be there. she quickly handed the food without any bag and was rushing us on and didn’t even give us ranch and stuff like we asked. my mom literally had to get out of her car and walk up there just to get napkins and stuff because she was so rushy. I know people go through stuff and people have hard days but u never know what someone else is going through as well it’s not hard at all to be kind. so pls if a manager is reading this talk to Briana this was ridiculous.

Delicious cheeseburger off home grill taste w/fresh ingredients. I got to pick toppings and all for under 5 dollars. Great staff experience as well. Inside facility also appeared to be very clean

I ordered the m&m milkshake to go and when I got home I set it on my table and sat down ready to enjoy a nice cold milkshake. The moment I bit into the soft, creamy, delicious shake, my entire body started to float. I didn't know what was happening but as I rose I realized the milkshake was floating as well as glowing. It called out to me though telepathy, telling me to eat another bite. When I did, I instantly transcended into heaven. I saw angels and a large golden gate before I blinked and was transported back into my chair safely. Curious, I took one more bite and I didn't fly, but I felt like I was enlightened.

Jr tray is a great deal. The burgers are tasty and cooked to order. The nuggets are good and my coke was carbonated perfectly. The fries were not so good. I wish they would get a new supplier for those. The line moved very slow and also learned the credit card machine was broken, thank God we had cash because you can't back out of the line. We were informed that if we were using a card we have to go all the way through the line and get in the other line. All in all their food is tasty and the milkshakes are absolutely the best!

Order was partially taken, cut off and then they tried completing the order getting the first part they took before the cut off wrong. Increased the price when we were at the window to pay because they forgot to add something in the original price. The food was not edible, tasted like eating dirt on bread. Shakes were not thick or flavorful as they have always been and server was rude at the window. I've been at lunch an its been great, wouldn't go back in the later evening

No place is perfect but tell me why I saw an employee vaping in front of the drive thru window. I mean it’s just common sense…blowing out that oil. Might be blowing out a virus! Are we smoking blunts over the hamburgers too? Got to do better seriously!!!

Rudest staff anywhere. They don’t even wait a second for you to get your order out of your mouth! No one has any personality here. The staff is absolutely awful. They practically throw the food at you. And the ghetto kids in the parking lot are scary! The food is the only saving grace. But no one here seems to care. Is there any management???

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt however, we waited around 10 min only two cars back to get to the window and then ordered two milkshakes and waited another 10 minutes for a grand total of about 20 minutes in the drive thru. The worst part is that I’m not even upset about that, I get to the window (and my mistake I’m always checking now) and get all the way home and realize I ordered a Reece's cup and received chocolate chip…. Not even slightly close ◡̈ I’m an out of towner and was really looking forward to my milkshake. This has been several times my experience, just really disappointed tonight. Do better.

Recently my wife an I ordered a burger with relish and other toppings and a soft drink we checked our order and there was no relish on burger simple correction very disrespectful female light complexion with dreadlocks stated they don't serve relish. Relish was put on burger and it was handed back to us corrected without soft drink female was very disrespectful and shouldn't be working at any customer service establishment well never go back to this location with such a simple order who are you hiring COOK OUT.
